In the post titled Nearing the End I made mention of the fact that the cast of the High School musical production at the center of this story had all come out on stage to take their final bows as they performed the last song of the production titled American Pie. The song chosen to close the three hour performance was Don’t Stop Believin’ by the rock group Journey. Even so, it seems the majority of Americans, and most Christians, are acting as if America will remain forever solid, a land of prosperity, ease, and endless entertainment. Yet, the Journey is nearing an end. America is about to collapse even as the nation parties on, oblivious to the peril. Like the spectators at the High School production, the people of the nations will watch in shock as sudden collapse brings the sound of mirth and music to an end, replaced by cries of alarm, of shock and injury.
A parallel testimony is found in the ongoing saga of the SS United States, the once proud, record setting ocean liner, that has fallen into decay. Its massive engines were removed decades ago, along with its huge bronze propellers. It has been gutted inside, and is a rusting hulk. Nevertheless, a group of people have been trying for years to “save” the SS United States, and to secure some angel investor who will re-purpose this derelict ship and give it a new lease on life. Yet, for years no savior has been forthcoming. The conservancy has struggled just to pay the mooring fees that amount to nearly $60,000 monthly.
The members of the conservancy who are trying to save this ship are acting out the theme “Don’t Stop Believin,” but the ship, like the nation whose name it bears, continues to deteriorate, as potential investors are dissuaded by the extent of repairs needed, and daunted by the hundreds of millions of dollars it would cost to renovate the massive ship which is larger than the HMS Titanic. The ship is in danger of being sold as scrap, a fitting parable for the nation whose constitution was written in Philadelphia, the same U.S. city where this ship is now anchored.

For those who have eyes to see, America is as decrepit and incapable of being salvaged as this derelict behemoth. Her economy is crushed by debt. The nation’s once vaunted manufacturing base has been gutted. The housing market is in shambles. One in five households in America are receiving food assistance just to be able to eat each day. The moral fiber of the country suffers from systemic rot. The constitutionally guaranteed freedoms of the people have been cast aside as an oligarchy of Luciferian world leaders have used fearmongering and a fictitious war on terror as justification to institute a dystopian society. All of this has occurred because the citizens of the nation are living dissipated lives, preoccupied with the bread and circuses that keep their appetites sated and their minds engaged in increasingly immoral pastimes.
Brothers and sisters, do you perceive that the enemy is even now at the gates and that disaster is at hand? Although Yahweh has not revealed to me any specific dates or events that will mark the end of life as we have known it, there are numerous events converging after this Summer, during the Fall of the year.
Jonathan Cahn has been used as a prophet of God to sound forth the message of The Harbingers related to the events of 9-11. He is now revealing the pattern of the Shemitah years. We are now in a Shemitah year, and it will end on September 13, 2015 (Elul 29 on the Hebrew Calendar). The Shemitahs are sevenths. They are observed every seventh year. The previous Shemitah of 2008 saw the shaking and partial collapse of the financial system on Wall Street, followed by trillions of dollars in bailouts to “too-big-to-fail” corporations. These bailouts were an ingenious way to transfer the eroding wealth of America’s citizens to globalist banking, insurance, and other NWO corporations. The previous Shemitah occurred in 2001, reaching its culmination with the events of 9-11-2001 as the World Trade Towers fell, the Pentagon was struck, and the cunningly named Patriot Act was foisted upon an undiscerning nation. What will this Shemitah bring?
Coinciding with the end of the Shemitah year, there will be a partial solar eclipse on September 13th. Although this solar eclipse will only be visible in the extreme southern sections of the globe, in Antartica and South Africa, it will be followed two weeks later by a total lunar eclipse which will occur on September 28th. This lunar eclipse will be visible from most of North America, South America, Europe, west Asia and parts of Africa. Adding to the significance of this lunar eclipse, it falls on the date of Sukkot (the Feast of Tabernacles).
This September’s lunar eclipse will complete a tetrad of lunar eclipses, each of which fall on the Feast Days of Passover and Sukkot. The present Shemitah year is also bisected precisely in the middle by the Solar Eclipse of Adar 29/Nisan 1 (March 20, 2015). Such a tetrad event will not occur again in this century.
There is Biblical precedence to view both solar and lunar eclipses as omens, harbingers of evil to befall the people of the earth. Following are some scripture passages that substantiate this connection.
Joel 2:30-31
And I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, blood, fire, and columns of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and awesome day of Yahweh comes.
Revelation 6:12-17
And I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood; and the stars of the sky fell to the earth, as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. And the sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. And the kings of the earth and the great men and the commanders and the rich and the strong and every slave and free man, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; and they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come; and who is able to stand?”
Luke 21:25-26
“And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars and upon the earth, dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world.”
It is less noted that the end of the Shemitah year, and the beginning of the new year on the Hebrew calendar, is known as Rosh Hashanah. In the Bible this date is referred to as Yom Teruah, and is marked by the blowing of the shofar, the ram’s horn, or trumpet of Israel. Yom Teruah is mentioned in Leviticus and is literally translated as “day [of] shouting/raising a noise.”
Leviticus 23:24
“Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, ye have a sabbath, a memorial of shouting (zikrown teruah), a holy convocation...”

Strong’s Concordance and Bible Dictionary provides the following definition of the Hebrew word “Teruah.”
teruw`ah (ter-oo-aw'); clamor, i.e. acclamation of joy or a battle-cry; especially clangor of trumpets, as an alarm:
Yom Teruah begins at sunset on September 13, 2015. Will this issue in a season of alarm, a season of battle-cry, of peace being removed from the earth? I have no revelation from the Father regarding dates and events at this time, but I believe it is prudent to observe the signs of the times and to stand in readiness for whatever may come. There is such a convergence of both celestial and Biblical events that every Christian should be standing on tiptoe, peering ahead, seeking to see what is coming.
I Thessalonians 5:1-11
Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.
For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Yahshua Christ, who died for us, that whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him. Therefore encourage one another, and build up one another, just as you also are doing.
In my own life I observe that Yahweh has given me the ability, and the direction, at this time, to finalize all of the preparations He led me to begin many years ago. These preparations include:
• Adopting a mobile lifestyle
• Converting a school bus into a motorhome
• Embracing a minimalist lifestyle
• Learning to live off-the-grid with minimal dependence upon grocery stores, outside power sources, etc.
• Completing my solar auxiliary power system for my bus/motorhome
• Purchasing a trailer and stocking it with grains and legumes, a grain mill, roller/flaker, etc.
• Adopting a lifestyle of faith, daily trusting Yahweh for all my needs and for guidance
• Storing up spiritual grain as I have sat at the feet of the Spirit of Christ to be instructed by Him, dividing between truth and error and eschewing the apostasy of this hour
• Learning to walk by the Spirit, following the pattern of Yahshua and His disciples
Yesterday, a brother in Christ (thank you Frank) shared with me links to two interviews that are available on Rick Wiles’ TruNews website. Rick interviewed a sister in Christ by the name of Mena Lee Grebin. She shared some prophetic experiences she has had indicating that Barack Obama will be the last U.S. President, and that he will usher in the collapse of America. She shared experiences that indicate these things are to begin in September, and revealed that she and her husband (a Jewish believer in Messiah) were recently directed by the Lord to stock up food and provision in anticipation of the coming hour, as well as to relocate from the Washington, D.C., area to North Carolina.
Admittedly, I do not know this woman. The instruction of the apostles is that we are not to “despise prophetic utterances,” yet at the same time we are to “test all things,” and to “cleave to that which is good.” If you are interested, I invite you to listen to the broadcasts and test these words yourself.

I cannot say if events will occur as this sister in Christ has related them, but I am led to consider the question, “What if it is true? What if a great shaking, a collapse as foretold in the recent sign given by the stage floor collapsing at the High School musical, does occur in September? How would I want to spend my summer?” Indeed, how should you spend your summer? It is common for people to plan their vacations for the summertime.
To many, Summer is a time when the children are home from school, when much fun is planned, and where picnics, trips to the beach, boating, and other forms of entertainment fill the calendar. Perhaps this is how you have spent previous summers and you plan to do the same during the next few months. Would you act differently if the Father revealed to you that these next few months have been given to you as a season of peace and grace to enable you to prepare for exceedingly difficult and traumatic days which will begin in the Fall of the year?
Let me remind readers again that I am not now, nor have I ever, advocated that people should do as I have done by building out a motorhome, purchasing a trailer, stocking up non-perishable grains and legumes, and adopting the specific lifestyle the Lord has led me to embrace. What I do advocate is that every son and daughter of Yahweh should be attuned to the voice of His Spirit and they should do precisely what He instructs them to do. Your path through the days ahead may not be the same as my own. We should all seek daily to know the Father’s will and to do it.
My concern is that there will be a great many professing Christians who were caught up in the pursuits of life, distracted by the allure of materialism and a life of ease and entertainment, and that such ones will be caught unprepared when the long prophesied collapse of America occurs. Many will suffer unnecessary hardships and loss because they were sleeping when the Spirit was calling them to be alert and sober. IF this Fall should prove to be climactic, will you be prepared?
A Point To Ponder
Yesterday it was reported that another earthquake shook Nepal. This was a powerful 7.4 magnitude quake, and its center was near Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world. This follows the catastrophic earthquake two weeks ago when a 7.8 magnitude quake shook Nepal and killed more than 8,000 people. That quake also shook Mount Everest. It triggered an avalanche that swept into a base camp populated by climbers preparing to scale the world’s highest peak. The bodies of 18 climbers were recovered on the mountain after the earthquake, and dozens more were injured.
Throughout the Bible we read of nations that have become rich and powerful being compared to lofty things such as mountains, or tall trees. As an example, Isaiah speaks a prophecy where the nations are compared to mountains, and Zion will be elevated to the highest of all.
Isaiah 2:2-3
Now it will come about that in the last days, the mountain of the house of Yahweh will be established as the chief of the mountains, and will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it. And many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob; That He may teach us concerning His ways, and that we may walk in His paths.”
In this passage we can correlate large nations to mountains, and the smaller nations to hills. In this hour, the United States boasts of being the world’s only super-power. Her massive and powerful military spans the globe. Her economic might controls the fate of nations, even entire continents. She boasts of how high she has ascended. Even the President of the nation has boasted of “American exceptionalism.”
Removing the Dead and Wounded from Mount Everest
Could the recent earthquakes which have shaken the world’s highest mountain be a sign that America, the world’s most lofty nation is about to be severely shaken, resulting in the injury of multitudes? I believe that this may very well be the spiritual parable to be discerned from the earthquakes shaking the world’s highest peak. Let us therefore act wisely. Let us seek the face of the Father to know what He would have us do to stand in readiness both spiritually and physically for the shaking that is coming.
