The Unseen World - Chuck Missler

BBC Airing Kids' Reality TV Show on Same-Sex Marriage

Then do not come crying GOD why bad things happen to us?
Where is GOD?
Because you deliberately chose to do wrong and get GOD out of your lives

The BBC will broadcast a reality-style children’s program on a gay couple preparing for their civil partnership ceremony.

The show has been renamed for the edition and will be called Marrying Dad and Dad instead of Marrying Mum and Dad.

The format of the series involves the couple’s children organizing the day as a surprise, and this episode will show the same-sex couple’s children putting together a James Bond-themed day.

Monday’s show, aired on the CBBC channel, featured Mark and Paul, who were the first same-sex couple to adopt children on the island of Jersey.

China Conducts Another Mobile ICBM Test

China’s military recently carried out a third test of a long-range DF-31A ballistic missile capable of hitting the United States with nuclear warheads.

U.S. officials with access to intelligence reports said the flight test of a DF-31A road-mobile ICBM took place July 24 in China and highlights Beijing’s large-scale nuclear force buildup.

The test was carried out in complete secrecy as part of China’s policy of not revealing details of its strategic nuclear forces in public.

A Pentagon spokesman had no comment on the flight test. “I recommend you contact the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China,” Lt. Col. Todd Breasseale said.

Chinese Embassy spokesmen did not respond to email requests for comment about the ICBM test.

The U.S. officials did not provide further details of the flight test.

However, it was the third flight test of a DF-31A within the past year.

By contrast, the Obama administration has put off U.S. ICBM tests several times in recent years in what military officials said were politically motivated delays. A Minuteman III missile test was put off last year until after the presidential election and delayed again until May over concerns an ICBM flight test would be misconstrued by North Korea, which has its own long-range missiles.

Missile analysts said the latest DF-31A test probably was carried out from the Wuzhai Space and Missile Test Center, where earlier tests occurred.

Until last month, China’s most recent DF-31A test took place Nov. 30 when an ICBM was fired from Wuzhai to an impact range in western China.

An earlier DF-31A test took place Aug. 30, 2012, also from Wuzhai, a missile launch center located in Shanxi province, about 267 miles southwest of Beijing.

It could not be learned whether the latest test involved a single dummy warhead or multiple warheads.

Chinese DF-31 missiles / Air Force National Air and Space Intelligence Center report

China is developing multiple-independently targetable reentry vehicles, or MIRVs, for its missiles and also has used decoy warheads designed to fool U.S. missile defense sensors.

A recently published report by the Air Force National Air and Space Intelligence Center concluded “China has the most active and diverse ballistic missile development program in the world.”

“It is developing and testing offensive missiles, forming additional missile units, qualitatively upgrading missile systems, and developing methods to counter ballistic missile defenses,” the report said. “The Chinese ballistic missile force is expanding in both size and types of missiles.”

According to the report, China’s military has “more than 15” DF-31A launchers for the solid-fueled, single-warhead ICBM that has a range greater than 6,835 miles. Other missile specialists say the DF-31A is capable of carrying up to five nuclear warheads.

The July 24 DF-31A test came exactly a year after the Chinese conducted what U.S. officials said was one of the first flight tests of a new longer-range ICBM called the DF-41, which is expected to be China’s first long-range missile outfitted with multiple warheads.

The Pentagon’s 2011 annual report on China’s military stated that China is continuing to modernize its nuclear forces by enhancing silo-based ICBMs and adding harder-to-detect mobile missile.

“In recent years, the road-mobile, solid-propellant [DF-31 and DF-31A] intercontinental range ballistic missiles have entered service,” the report said, adding that the DF-31 A “can reach most locations within the continental United States.”

Rick Fisher, a China military affairs specialist at the International Assessment and Strategy Center, said the latest flight test shows that Beijing’s military has a robust missile-testing program.

“The DF-31A could be deployed with two to three brigades, which all engage in active year-around training which includes live launches at regular intervals,” Fisher said.

“This latest DF-31A test also highlights the fact that China’s nuclear missile arsenal continues to grow,” he said. “The DF-31A fleet will soon be joined by an initial force of up to 36 JL-2 or JL-2A submarine-launched nuclear missiles within the next year, and these will be followed by multiple warhead or MIRV capable DF-41 road mobile ICBMs.”

The DF-41 is expected to be capable of carrying up to 10 nuclear warheads.

China’s military uses extreme secrecy to mask its strategic nuclear missile programs.

A senior Chinese official revealed during talks with U.S. officials in Beijing in 2009 that even the number of Chinese nuclear weapons is a closely guarded secret.

Assistant Foreign Minister He Yafei was quoted in a classified State Department cable made public by Wikileaks that said that if China revealed the size of its nuclear arsenal, it would eliminate its deterrent value.

China conducted a series of flight tests beginning in July 2012 that included the DF-31A, a silo-based DF-5 ICBM test, the DF-41 test, and a flight test of a new JL-2 submarine launched ballistic missile.

All the tests were not made public and Pentagon spokesmen also declined to comment on those tests.

Physicists propose Higgs boson 'portal' as the source of this elusive entity

One of the biggest mysteries in contemporary particle physics and cosmology is why dark energy, which is observed to dominate energy density of the universe, has a remarkably small (but not zero) value. This value is so small, it is perhaps 120 orders of magnitude less than would be expected based on fundamental physics.

Resolving this problem, often called the cosmological constant problem, has so far eluded theorists.

Now, two physicists – Lawrence Krauss of Arizona State University and James Dent of University of Louisiana-Lafayette – suggest that the recently discovered Higgs boson could provide a possible "portal" to physics that could help explain some of the attributes of the enigmatic dark energy and help resolve the cosmological constant problem.

In their paper, "Higgs Seesaw Mechanism as a Source for Dark Energy," Krauss and Dent explore how a possible small coupling between the Higgs particle, and possible new particles likely to be associated with what is conventionally called the Grand Unified Scale – a scale perhaps 16 orders of magnitude smaller than the size of a proton at which the three known non-gravitational forces in nature might converge into a single theory – could result in the existence of another background field in nature in addition to the Higgs field, which would contribute an energy density to empty space of precisely the correct scale to correspond to the observed energy density.

The paper is published on line today (Aug. 9), in Physical Review Letters.

Current observations of the universe show it is expanding at an accelerated rate. But this acceleration cannot be accounted for on the basis of matter alone. Putting energy in empty space produces a repulsive gravitational force opposing the attractive force produced by matter, including the dark matter that is inferred to dominate the mass of essentially all galaxies, but which doesn't interact directly with light and therefore can only be estimated by its gravitational influence.

Because of this phenomenon and because of what is observed in the universe, it is thought that such 'dark energy' contributes up to 70 percent of the total energy density in the universe, while observable matter contributes only 2 to 5 percent, with the remaining 25 percent or so coming from dark matter.

The source of this dark energy and the reason its magnitude matches the inferred magnitude of the energy in empty space currently is not understood, making it one of the leading outstanding problems in particle physics today.

"Our paper makes progress in one aspect of this problem," said Krauss, a Foundation Professor in Arizona State University's School of Earth and Space Exploration and in Physics, and the director of the Origins Project at ASU. "Now that the Higgs boson has been discovered, it provides a possible 'portal' to physics at much higher energy scales through very small possible mixings and couplings to new scalar fields which may operate at these scales."

"We demonstrate that the simplest small mixing, related to the ratios of the scale at which electroweak physics operates, and a possible Grand Unified Scale, produces a possible contribution to the vacuum energy today of precisely the correct order of magnitude to account for the observed dark energy," Krauss explained. "Our paper demonstrates that a very small energy scale can at least be naturally generated within the context of a very simple extension of the standard model of particle physics."

While a possible advance in understanding the origin of dark energy, Krauss said the construct is only one step in the direction of understanding its mysteries.

"The deeper problem of why the known physics of the standard model does not contribute a much larger energy to empty space is still not resolved," he said.

No Progress in Russia-NATO Missile Defense Talks

MOSCOW, August 14 (RIA Novosti) – Missile defense talks between Russian and NATO military officials in the past 10 days have reached another impasse, Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said Wednesday.

“We have been discussing the missile defense issue for the past 10 days…however, no solution for this problem is yet in sight,” Antonov told reporters in Moscow after talks with German Defense Minister Thomas de Maiziere, Italian defense officials and US Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel.

Antonov said Russia is closely monitoring the progress of NATO’s global missile defense system in Europe and in the Asia-Pacific region while studying how the system's readiness could affect Russia's nuclear deterrence potential.

He also downplayed the impact on missile defense talks of the recent standoff between Moscow and Washington over fugitive US intelligence leakerEdward Snowden.

“I don’t have a feeling that the Snowden problem affects the missile defense talks as Russian and Pentagon officials focus on the military-technical aspects of the issues discussed, rather than on politics, when they meet,” Antonov said.

Russia and NATO had initially agreed at the Lisbon summit in November 2010 to cooperate over the US-proposed missile defense system in Eastern Europe. But subsequent talks between Russia and the alliance have floundered over NATO’s refusal to grant Russia legal guarantees that the system would not be deployed against Russia’s nuclear deterrent.

NATO and the United States insist that the shield is intended to defend NATO member states against missiles from emerging threat nations like North Korea and Iran, and would not be directed at Russia. The alliance has vowed to continue developing and deploying its missile defense program, regardless of the status of missile defense cooperation with Russia.

In mid-March, the US announced it was modifying its planned missile defense deployment in Poland, dropping plans to station SM-3 IIB interceptor missiles in the country by 2022. Russian officials said this did nothing to allay their concerns, and reiterated their demand for legally binding agreements guaranteeing Russia’s strategic nuclear forces would not be targeted.

What Global Warming? 2012 Data Confirms Earth In Cooling Trend

CNSNews.com) – The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration recently released its “State of the Climate in 2012” report, which states that “worldwide, 2012 was among the 10 warmest years on record.”

But the report “fails to mention [2012] was one of the coolest of the decade, and thus confirms the cooling trend,” according to an analysis by climate blogger Pierre Gosselin.

“To no one’s surprise, the report gives the reader the impression that warming is galloping ahead out of control,” writes Gosselin. “But their data shows just the opposite.”

Although the NOAA report noted that in 2012, “the Arctic continues to warm” with “sea ice reaching record lows,” it also stated that the Antarctica sea ice “reached a record high of 7.51 million square miles” on Sept. 26, 2012.

And the latest figures for this year show that there’s been a slowdown of melting in the Arctic this summer as well, with temperatures at the North Pole well below normal for this time of year. Meteorologist Joe Bastardi calls it “the coldest ever recorded.”

The Associated Press had to retract a photo it released on July 27 with the caption, “The shallow meltwater lake is occurring due to an unusually warm period.”

“In fact, the water accumulates in this way every summer,” AP admitted in a note to editors, adding that the photo was doubly misleading because “the camera used by the North Pole Environment Observatory has drifted hundreds of miles from its original position, which was a few dozen miles from the pole.”

Before/after North Pole photos retracted by AP.

NOAA also reported that the “average lower strastospheric temperature, about six to ten miles above the Earth’s surface, for 2012 was record or near-record cold, depending on the dataset” even while the concentrations of greenhouse gases, including carbon dioxide, continued to increase.

"Even with all this data manipulation, the trend is down as shown by this Hadley global plot," writes Joseph D'Aleo, former director of meteorology at The Weather Channel. (See D'Aleo - Real Story About Temps.pdf)

"Last year was the 8th warmest but 7th coldest since 1998. They explain it away with the predominance of La Ninas or a solar blip, but say it was the warmest decade nonetheless, so stop questioning us," he said.

On August 7th, the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten quoted Irish solar expert Ian Elliott predicting that lower levels of sunspot activity over the next few years “indicates that we may be on the path to a new little ice age.”

“If you think scientists just couldn’t get any more incompetent, then think again. NOAA scientists even appear to believe that cold events are now signs of warming,” Gosselin points out.

“When one carefully reads the report, we find that the NOAA findings actually do confirm precisely what the skeptics have been claiming all along:

1. The Earth has stopped warming.

2. The climate models exaggerated future warming [caused by] CO2 climate sensitivity is much lower than we first thought.

“That’s the real issue at hand,” he added.- See more at: http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/what-global-warming-2012-data-confirms-earth-cooling-trend#sthash.BPC3sN4M.dpuf

Switzerland nominates Hezbollah advocate for UN Human Rights Council

Swiss candidate defended French Holocaust denier; UN Watch official says he has “extremist anti-Western and anti-Israel” views.

Jean Ziegler Photo: Reuters
The Swiss government has nominated Jean Ziegler–-a former Social Democratic MP who has praised Hezbollah as a legitimate national movement–- to serve as an adviser to the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.

The formal notification of Ziegler’s nomination to UN diplomats took place last week, sparking sharp criticism on Monday from a UN watchdog group.

Speaking Tuesday to The Jerusalem Post via phone, Hillel C. Neuer, executive director of the Geneva-based UN Watch, said Ziegler has “extremist anti-Western and anti-Israel” views and a long history of attacking the Jewish state. UN Watch urged the Swiss government to rescind its nomination of Ziegler.

In 1982, Ziegler sought the expulsion of President Shimon Peres, then head of Israel’s Labor Party, from the Socialist International association.

In an interview with the Hezbollah publication Al-Akhbar in 2006, Ziegler said “I refuse to describe Hezbollah as a terrorist group. It is a national movement of resistance.”

The 28-member EU designated Hezbollah’s military wing a terrorist organization last month. Switzerland is not a member of the EU.

Ziegler’s support for the late French Holocaust denier Roger Garaudy was expressed in a 1996 letter, amid controversy over allegations of Holocaust denial in Garaudy’s book, The Founding Myths of Modern Israel: “I am outraged at the legal case they are making against you... All your work as a writer and philosopher attests to the rigor of your analysis and the unwavering honesty of your intentions. It makes you one of the leading thinkers of our time... It is for all these reasons that I express here my solidarity and my admiring friendship,” wrote Ziegler.

Ziegler’s Social Democratic party has been embroiled in Holocaust controversies over the years. The former Social Democratic foreign minister, Micheline Calmy-Rey, proposed seminars on different perspectives of the Holocaust back in 2006, when meeting with an Iranian delegation on the nuclear crisis.

Neuer chastised Ziegler for his role in serving as promoter of the late Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi. Ziegler played a key role in the founding of Gaddafi’s International Prize for Human Rights. He told the Post, “While Gaddafi was raping women and girls, Ziegler was portraying him as a hero of human rights.”

Annick Cojean’s new book, Gaddafi’s Harem: The Story of a Young Woman and the Abuses of Power in Libya, details the graphic sexual violence and criminality during Gaddafi’s regime.

Ziegler along with Garaudy was a recipient of the Gaddafi prize.

Responding to the UN Watch criticism on Tuesday, the news outlet Swissinfo quoted Ziegler a saying, “This is total defamation, due to a severe report I published in 2002 on the right to food in the occupied Palestinian territories.”

The Swiss government defended Ziegler in a letter to the UN: “As a renowned expert with an excellent knowledge of economic, social and cultural rights, Prof. Jean Ziegler has always shown an acute independence of thought. He is a figure that has the ability to actively promote human rights both in the civil society and in the international community.”

cyber attack will trigger bank crash

In a remarkable analysis of the American Clearinghouse Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (has DTCC ) named the threat scenarios for the global financial system. Thus, it is not the global debt crisis, China and the euro crisis threatening the world order most.

The danger, the DTCC, comes from hackers.

Islamist hackers.

This must be addressed in time to prevent the crash - best yet, before they attack.Mark Clancy by DTCC told Financial News : "We must ensure the cyber security as a team. The aim must be to reduce the cost of defense and those to increase for the attack. "

Banks are against attacks by hackers apparently insufficiently protected, writes the DTCC. However, the blame for the lack of defensive ability is not the banks but the criminal energy of the attacker.

These enemies of the financial industry would have it easy because they are not subject to the jurisdiction of civilized states. They operate outside of the U.S. and Europe, which is why the efforts of the U.S. administration and the European Commission are not sufficient to repel an attack.

The financial services industry expects the attack by those who since the 11thSeptember 2001 were identified as the real enemies of the Americans: From Islamists.

The Security Analysts of Analysis Intelligence have found in a study that the massive computer glitches caused the fall of 2012 not from crazed traders or runaway robots, but by a group called Izz al-Din al-Qassam Cyber Fighters. This would set targeted DDoS attacks the giants of the industry such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, PNC and other incapacitated.

Iran is behind the attacks and fighters from the Palestinian territories are. As evidence, the report argues that Reuters and the Washington Post have already identified a few days after the first attacks Iran with reference to anonymous sources. The financial industry is confirmed by the fact that the Iranian television did not report the attack to the suspicion against Iran.

In the analysis of the DTCC nations, individuals, and paid hackers are identified as the copyright of possible attacks. Because they operate outside of U.S. jurisdiction, it was hard to get hold of her to pursue and punish them.

The security experts of Intelligence Analysis have identified the hacker attacks against U.S. banks in 2012. (Graphic: Intelligence Analysis)

It is therefore all the more important time to get accurate information about the hacker. To this end, cooperation between the U.S. Treasury, the Department of Homeland Security and the financial industry must be intensified. The objective is the exchange of information and data on a wide scale. Since 1999, the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC).

Against this center are just some loans in Germany under criticism NSA should be a welfare organization.

Because this is not about the email from the comparatively insignificant politicians from the Belgian province or Uckermark.

This is about the core of the international financial oligarchy: the exceedingly networked banking system.

And this is vulnerable to threats from the outside and from the inside.

Because the DTCC, a service company in the banks, makes no secret of it in his recent report that the risks exposed by itself the system are no longer manageable basically.

The paper examines namely addition to cyber-terrorist and those risks inherent in the basically entirely moral banking system: The greatest danger, the DTCC, the dynamics and complexity of the financial system.

Thus, even well-intentioned attempts to regulate the system, have the opposite effect. The regulations are so complex that no one could implement them more effectively. Therefore, the regulations would lead to new errors.

Because the system is networked so that no one can recognize more cause and effect, could bring the whole system to crash an attack on a component - and in a very short time and without any preparation. In a video that explains a DTCC man that the system was honestly surprised by the Lehman crash.

The euro-crisis is as a systemic risk, as well as the immense amount of scrap papers and the high-speed trading.

From the paper speaks a mixture of perplexity and whistling in the dark: How the chapter on HFT is overwritten with a quote from Mahatma Gandhi: "There is more to life than speeding."

Interestingly, cited DTCC an investigation in the spring of 2013: According to the industry is not afraid of the hackers most, but the fact that one of the too-big-to-fail banks could break all the others in the abyss: fear 61 percent of the bankers the crash of a giant, 35 percent of respondents said that the risk has become greater in the past six months.

Therefore, it is remarkable that now represent a respected clearinghouse of the hackers from the Far East at one time the greatest danger.

The findings of the DTCC were obtained naturally in close coordination to U.S. authorities. One can therefore assume that the U.S. intelligence agencies want to know the cyber hackers as the greatest threat to the financial system named.

This concern may have nurtured the mysterious warning the Obama administration of a terror attack in recent weeks. Never have allowed such a state of vigilance by U.S. authorities stack. It is very unlikely that a bomb threat has caused such a request to the U.S. citizens to be vigilant in Yemen. In the warnings of Americans cyber attacks were not mentioned explicitly, the Americans reminded the world that railways, airport and boats are endangered.

The non-mention of the banks may suggest that these were meant exactly - and you do not even have to follow the crude logic that political power is especially dangerous if their state does not report on long standing somewhat.

In fact, a by whomever triggered hacker attack on one of the big banks would havedevastating consequences: In fact, a most social processes come to a halt because all the important processes would come to a standstill or out of control either by the dominance of the Internet in banking transactions.

Such a crash would amount to a reset of the financial system the same. It will be really hard to identify the perpetrators of such crashes doubt.

Behind a group called Izz al-Din al-Qassam Cyber Fighters can basically put everyone - and no one.

The Americans put everything in any case, to document extreme determination in advance of such an event. In a sensational article, Michael Lewis has the arrest and conviction of former CIOs by Goldman Sachs described in the current Vanity Fair as a pretty obscure number: Originally from Russia Sergey Aleynikov was arrested from the airplane out, interrogated without a warrant, and finally of unsuspecting jury convicted in a flash method to eight years in prison. He had, as Goldman says, stolen computer code that Goldman allegedly heard and are designed to supply a competitor with business secrets. Lewis proves that the code was not significant, there was a good part of open source and had not been used by Aleinikov following his departure from Goldman.

The incident shows that the next battleground will be no skyscrapers and no Afghan cave.

It comes to the computer, which made the whole complexity of the financial system only.

But who is friend or foe in this system can hardly notice.

The boundaries between right and wrong are blurred in the flurry of incomprehensible algorithms.

The new battle space is the gray area.

It is an asymmetrical war in which we live, writes the DTCC.

It is difficult to defend in a war where everyone can be everything and escape into the many identities is possible in a split second.

DTCC is reminiscent of the hurricane Sandy from the year 2012 who has "brought painful memories, how devastating destroying potential unexpected physical events" could have. The finance company has therefore taken measures to strengthen the "resistance to a broad number of events."

Such measures may actually be dead right in the age of Anonymous and Libor.

For the banks.

For governments.

But especially for those who might not necessarily that of the virtual Salvation Army consider the global financial system, but follow the old axiom: By their fruits ye shall know them.

Not their words.
