Following the global collapse of the world’s financial system, which no one knows when will happen but many believe is inevitable given the massive debt held by the world’s biggest economies, the concept of “money” will change virtually overnight.

Like post-World War I Germany, when hyperinflation made the currency – the mark – so devalued and worthless that German waiters in restaurants had to climb on tables to announce new menu prices every 30 minutes, the world’s currencies will similarly collapse, since they are all based on the U.S. dollar.

Five years ago an MIT study noted that an earlier analysis predicting a “global economic collapse” by 2030 had not changed and was “still on track” to occur. But the key is the dollar.

And more recently Natural News founder/editor Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, predicted that should President Donald J. Trump fail to convert to the Church of Globalism, like the Deep State and the global elite want him to, they are more likely to crash the economy on purpose and blame him for it, in order to retain their own power and prevent him from draining the swamp.

While that reasoning is certainly sound – and most Americans probably would blame him – in many ways it won’t matter who is responsible, only that the economy as we knew it no longer exists. Which means what we typically used to obtain goods and services – money – is no longer valuable.

But our needs won’t change. We’ll still need food, water, shelter, clothing, personal hygiene items, ammunition, firearms, and other things in order to carry on with our lives as best we can. And though money might be obsolete, the things we need to live will still retain value.

Barter is a system of exchange where goods or services are exchanged for other goods and services. If you have something of value – even a skill – you can use it to trade for something you need that someone else has.

Here are some of the most popular items that you’ll need to obtain to use as currency in a post-collapse world so you can still get what you need:

— Precious metals like gold and silver

— Ammunition – all popular calibers like .22LR, 9 mm, .45 ACP, .223, .40 cal

— Over-the-counter meds like Tylenol/ibuprofen, aspirin, allergy medications and antibiotic ointment

— Bandages/band aids

— Bar soap

— Individual sanitary wipes

— Water (in individual bottles); having your own water supply will become invaluable – and something you’ll have to guard day and night

— Hygiene supplies, especially for women

— Gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene

— Cooking oil

— Fishing gear and tackle

— Batteries (9V, AA, AAA, C)

— Food – individually packed like military meals ready to eat (MREs)

— Nails, screws, bolts, nuts, lumber

— Paper

— Books and magazines – yes, it will get boring during the apocalypse without electronic games, Facebook and Netflix

— Plastic sheeting and trash bags – for shelters and waterproofing

— Board games and playing cards will come in handy

— Tooth brushes

— Any prepper items like fire starters

— Disposable lighters, flints and steel

— Plastic storage containers (think Tupperware ®)

— Ziplock bags

— Zip ties

These skills will also come in handy to use as barter:

— Medical skills – like EMT/Paramedic, nurses, nurse practitioners and doctors

— Construction skills – builders, carpenters, masons, electricians

— Military and former military professionals and veterans

— Farmer and expert gardener

— Automobile mechanic

— Homesteader – someone who knows how to make soap, candles, and other consumables that you will need and use over and over again

— Gunsmiths and ammunition reloaders

There are others but these suggestions give you an idea of what will come in very handy in a post-collapse world, when things we take for granted now because we can drive a few miles to a store and get them with ease become very scarce – yet just as necessary for our comfort and survival.

One more tip: You should learn one of the valuable skills mentioned above or perhaps even a combination of them, to give yourself more barter value.

End-of-Days Prophecy Describes Erdogan Leading Ishmael to Final War for Jerusalem

This week, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan established himself as a leader in the End-of-Days by calling for the Islam to unite for Jerusalem. Erdogan’s perplexing statement could be the cry that rallies the world of Ishmael for the prophesied third and final battle of Jerusalem preceding the Messiah.

On Monday, at the opening ceremony of the International Forum on Al-Quds Wakfs (Islamic trusts) in Istanbul, Erdogan called for hundreds of thousands of Muslims to ascend to the Temple Mount, thundering, “Each day that Jerusalem is under occupation is an insult to us.”

Rabbi Berger, rabbi of the Tomb of King David on Mount Zion, believes that Erdogan’s call to Muslims was based in a Jewish prophecy that predates Islam. 

“Erdogan is fulfilling a prophecy as the leader of his country,” Rabbi Berger told Breaking Israel News. “Just like Pharaoh in Egypt.”

The rabbi related a prophecy written in Pirkei D’Rebbe Eliezer, a collection of Biblical exegesis believed to have been compiled in the seventh century. He explained that according to the prophecy, the “sons of Ishmael”, which the rabbi identifies as Islam, will wage a war against “Edom”, which the rabbi identifies as Christianity. After this war, the sons of Ishmael will wage three wars against the Jews focused around Jerusalem.

“Rabbi Ishmael (the High Priest) said, ‘Three wars of turmoil the Sons of Ishmael are destined to wage in Israel in the end-of-days’,” the prophecy reads, citing a verse in Isaiah.

For they fled away from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war. Isaiah 21:15

The prophecy continues, “And from there, the Messiah from the House of David will grow, and he will witness their destruction, and then he will come to Israel.”

Rabbi Berger explained how the prophecy, written hundreds of years before Muhammad founded Islam, related to current events.

“The war between Islam and Christianity has been going on for some time now, in Europe and America,” Rabbi Berger said.  He identified the two intifadas Israel has suffered, the first from 1987-1993 and the second from 2000-2005, as the first two wars to which the prophecy refers.

“Erdogan has just declared the third and final war for Jerusalem as foretold in the prophecy,” Rabbi Berger said.

He noted that while Erdogan might not seem the natural Arab leader to unite the Muslims, he had touched on a universal message in targeting Jerusalem which would, in a sense, ‘activate’ the need to fulfill the prophecy.

“The world of Islam is fighting among itself and Erdogan is not a major Islamic leader,” Rabbi Berger said. “But his call to unite in the fight for Jerusalem will resonate among the Muslims because it is the call they have been waiting for. It is written in their soul.”

The Islamic war for Jerusalem was also predicted in the Zohar, the foundational work of Jewish mysticism. It is written in the Zohar that in the sixth cycle of 1,000 years, “there will be a spiritual process of 70 days”, which “will return the Torah to Moses”. After that, “a great cry will go up to God from Israel from the suffering.” The Zohar (Vayera 1:119a) then predicts a multinational war for Jerusalem led by Islam, basing this prophecy on a verse in the final chapter of Zechariah.

For I will gather all nations against Yerushalayim to battle; and the city shall be taken and the houses rifled and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity but the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Zechariah 14:2

Professor Ze’ev Maghen of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic studies (BESA) explained that Turkey has a powerful political interest in Jerusalem as well which relates to the historic ties between the two regions.

“It should be remembered that Erdogan inherited the title of leader of the Ottoman Empire, which ruled over Jerusalem and its holy places, politically and religiously, for 400 years,” Dr. Maghen told Breaking Israel News. “Erdogan is, after all, an Islamist, and Jerusalem is the third holiest city in Islam.”

The professor explained that as leader of the current incarnation of the Ottoman Empire, Erdogan sees it is his role to lead the Islamic battle for Jerusalem.

“Since Saudi Arabia as the leader of Sunni Wahabism rules over the holy city of Mecca, it is only natural that a call to war would focus on Jerusalem,” said Dr. Maghen. “For that reason, Iran has a Jerusalem Day.”

Iran instituted ‘Quds Day’ in 1979 as an annual holiday held on the last day of the Ramadan period of fasting. It was intended to be in direct opposition to Israel’s celebration of Jerusalem Day. At its inception, the Ayatollah Khomeini, the spiritual leader of Iran, declared the “liberation” of Jerusalem a religious duty to all Muslims.

Essentially, Dr. Maghen concluded, “Erdogan’s call for Islam to unify in the fight for Jerusalem dates back to Suleiman the Magnificent, leading to the 200-year battle against the Christian Crusaders.”

North Korea Test-Fires 7th Ballistic Missile Of 2017

On the eve of a summit in Beijing, and just hours after Pyongyang's chief nuclear negotiator said North Korea is ready to hold talks with the United States "if the conditions are mature", South Korea's Yonhap reports that North Korea has fired a projectile believed to be a ballistic missile, from a region named Kusong located northwest of Pyongyang, where the North previously test-launched its intermediate-range missile.

The nature of the projectile was not immediately clear, a South Korean military official told Reuters.

The ballistic missile firing is North Korea’s seventh this year.

The launch comes just hours after The South China Morning Post reports Choe Son-hui, head of the North Korea's Foreign Ministry's North America bureau, offered the assurance in the Chinese capital after an informal meeting in Norway with Thomas Pickering, a former US ambassador to the United Nations.

"If conditions are mature, we will hold dialogue with the Donald Trump administration," she said.

Choe made the remarks just days after Trump said he would be willing to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un "under the right circumstances".

But the comments also came as the US embassy in Beijing told China's foreign ministry that North Korea's attendance at the top-level gathering for the "Belt and Road Initiative" could send the wrong message as the world was trying to pressure Pyongyang over its ­repeated missile and nuclear tests. The foreign ministry said Beijing welcomed the participation of all countries in the summit.

South Korea's Yonhap News confirms North Korea has fired what appears to be a ballistic missile from its west coast, the South Korean military reported early Sunday. The launch would be the first in two weeks since the last attempt to fire a missile ended in a failure just minutes into flight. It would also be the first launch since a new, liberal president took office in South Korea on Wednesday saying dialogue as well as pressure must be used to ease tensions on the Korean peninsula and stop the North's weapons pursuit. The new president Moon has said he is willing to engage in dialogue with his northern neighbor.

Weapons experts and government officials, cited by Reuters, "believe the North has accomplished some technical progress with those tests."

South Korean Military has now confirmed it was a ballistic missile that flew 700 km.

The Japanese government confirms the missile flew 30 minutes and landed in The Sea of Japan.

Kim claimed in January to be in the final stages of preparations to test-fire an intercontinental ballistic missile, and has since launched several intermediate-range projectiles with varying degrees of success.

The action provides an early test for South Korean President Moon Jae-in, who came to office on May 10 saying he would visit Pyongyang under the “right circumstances” to bring peace to the peninsula. Moon convened a meeting of the national security council Sunday morning, according to the Presidential Blue House.

Today's launch should not be a total surprise: In a interview earlier in the week with by Sky News, in response to a question "is a sixth nuclear test now imminent", the answer of the North Korean Ambassador to the UK, Choe Il was "In regards to the sixth nuclear test, I do not know the scheduled time for it, as I am here in the UK, not in my home country. However, I can say that the nuclear test will be conducted at the place and time as decided by our supreme leader, Kim Jong-Un."

Asked if he is afraid of a possible US military response, the ambassador answers that "we are developing our nuclear strength to respond to that kind of attack by the US. If the US attacks us, our military and people are fully ready to respond to any kind of attack. I do not think the US are considering a military attack against us." 

Asked what would North Korea's response be to a preemptive strike, he answer that:"The US cannot attack us first. If the US moves an inch, then we are ready to turn to ashes any available strategic assets of the US."
