Russia to Test “Future Soldier” Weaponry in Fall

MOSCOW, August 24 (RIA Novosti) – Various modifications of a new Kalashnikov AK-12 assault rifle as well as other small arms developed as part of Russia’s “future soldier” gear will pass state acceptance trials in the fall of 2013, a spokesperson for the Kalashnikov corporation said.

Yelena Filatova told reporters Friday that a number of prospective small arms models for the Ratnik gear were shown to Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu during the Russian Defense Ministry’s Innovation Day arms exhibition on August 20 in Moscow.

“After examining the weaponry, the minister confirmed that all small arms developed under the Ratnik project will undergo state acceptance trials in the fall to bring clarity to the fate of the ‘future soldier’ gear,” Filatova said.

The Kalashnikov corporation (former Izhmash company) showcased 15 models of assault and sniper rifles during the exhibition, including four upgraded models of the AK-74 assault rifle, a range of the AK-12 modifications, an upgraded version of the AK-103 assault rifle and the SVDM sniper rifle, according to Filatova.

Ratnik (“Warrior”) comprises more than 40 components, including firearms, body armor, optic, communication and navigation devices, life support and power supply systems and even knee and elbow pads.

The Ratnik gear has been successfully tested by the Russian military but is adoption into service has been delayed due to uncertainty with the choice of small arms component.

A man or peoples "religion" will NOT acknowledge the ETERNAL RIGHTNESS of the Person of Almighty God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and Their Saving propitiation found in the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:19-21, Rom. 1:18-32, 10:2-4).

A man's "religion" seeks to answer the basic needs of the human heart, which is the longing to fill an ETERNAL void that exists in the absence of a right relationship to its ETERNAL Creator in SPIRIT and TRUTH (Eccl 3:11, John 4:24). This godless spiritual ideology (i.e., religion) is prevalent throughout the multitudinous cultures and various societies of Adam's fallen race (Rom. 1:18-32). All human history attests to this fact throughout the last 4,200 years since the scattering of people over all the earth after the Tower of Babel that mankind would rather hold on to their fallen "spiritual" religious ideologies of godlessness than to adhere to the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS and ETERNAL REALITY of time and ETERNITY (John 3:19-21, Rom. 1:18-32, 10:2-4).

REALITY
As humanity develops and out-works these ideologies and philosophies in time, the ETERNAL spiritual absolutes (truths) and natural (moral) laws of Almighty God never change, nor will they ever. That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation (Hebrews 6; 18a). For I am the LORD, I change not (Malachi 3:6a). My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips (Psalm 89:34). Almighty God and His Word can be totally relied upon.

For about 4,200 years since the Tower of Babel dispersion humanity has been out-working their godless, unrighteous spiritual  ideologies and philosophies and have been reaping the horrific consequences ever since.

In Romans 1:18-32 Almighty God tells us what happened after Babel and what were the end results thereof. Humanity had willingly chosen the abandonment of TRUTH and REALITY for a godless delusion and a lie. These offspring of Noah's sons had replaced and exchanged the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Almighty God with unrighteousness. For about 4,200 years since the Tower of Babeldispersion humanity has been out-working their godless, unrighteous spiritual  ideologies and philosophies and have been reaping the horrific consequences ever since (Rom. 1:18-32). The consequences and end results of a godless existence are vanity and ETERNAL damnation (Eccl. 1:14; Rom. 3:23, Rev. 20:11-15). The REALITY of this life is that Almighty God sent His Son (John 3:16-17; Rom. 8:3-4)to redeem man and restore a right relationship between man and Himself (John 3:3-7, 16-17, 1 John 2:2, 4:10). That is ETERNAL REALITY and not some man made "religious" statement. 

Almighty God's Word states;

God is a Spirit; and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no mancometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth (John 17:17).

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever (Psalm 119:160).

Do you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? To know Him is to know REALITY. To know Him is to know Truth. May you be sure that your "ideology" and "REALITY" is rooted in the absolute REALITY of Almighty God and His never-changing Word. Your whole ETERNITY depends on it.

Russia warns U.S. not to repeat in Syria past mistakes in region

MOSCOW, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Russia warned the United States on Sunday against repeating past mistakes, saying that any unilateral military action in Syria would undermine efforts for peace and have a devastating impact on the security situation in the Middle East.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said its statement was a response to U.S. actions to give it the option of an armed strike against Syria.

It drew a parallel between reports Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's forces had used chemical weapons and Washington's 2003 intervention in Iraq following accusations by then-President George Bush's administration that Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's government possessed weapons of mass destruction.

"We once again decisively urge (the United States) not to repeat the mistakes of the past and not to allow actions that go against international law," the ministry said.

"Any unilateral military action bypassing the United Nations will ... lead to further escalation (in Syria) and will affect the already explosive situation in the Middle East in the most devastating way."

Moscow said any military action would severely hamper joint U.S.-Russian efforts for an international peace conference to end a civil war that has killed more than 100,000 people.

"The threat to use force against the Syrian regime sends the (Syrian) opposition conflicting signals," the ministry said. "All sponsors of the opposition, which have influence over it, must seek the fastest possible agreement from Bashar al-Assad's opponents to hold talks."

U.S. President Barack Obama met his security advisers on Saturday to debate options following reports of the alleged chemical attack. U.S. naval forces have been repositioned in the Mediterranean to give Washington the option of an armed strike.

Syria's opposition accused Assad's forces of gassing many hundreds of people - by one report as many as 1,300 - on Wednesday. Syria said earlier on Sunday it had agreed to let the experts visit the site.

Experts Say Syrian Chemical Weapons Video looks "Set-Up"

Video Footage of ‘Chemical Weapons Attack’ Uploaded Before it Happened?

Hundreds of videos showing apparent victims of a chemical weapons attack in Syria were uploaded to YouTube on August 20, a day before media reports say the attack actually happened, prompting Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokesman to assert the incident was a “pre-planned” provocation staged by rebels.

As PBS reports, “At around 3 a.m. (on August 21st) , patients started streaming in from neighborhoods in suburban Damascus like Zamalka and Ain Terma,” following the alleged chemical weapons attack.

However, a playlist of videos entitled ‘Alleged Chemical Attack in Eastern Ghouta August 21st 2013‘ contains 159 videos – every one of which was uploaded to YouTube on August 20th.

While no one is denying that some kind of attack did indeed take place, the fact that hundreds of videos showing victims of the attack were uploaded to YouTube a day before the incident is supposed to have actually happened remains unexplained.

The time stamp attributed to uploaded videos applies to the country in which they were uploaded, meaning that the videos were uploaded in Syria on August 20th, which is seemingly impossible given that the attack took place in the early hours of the 21st. The only way the videos could display as being uploaded on the 20th was if they were uploaded in America, which is on an earlier time zone.

According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Aleksandr Lukashevich, this represents evidence of a “pre-planned” provocation. Lukashevich labeled the accusations “another anti-Syrian propaganda wave.”

“We’re getting more new evidence that this criminal act was of a provocative nature,” he told RT. “In particular, there are reports circulating on the Internet, in particular that the materials of the incident and accusations against government troops had been posted for several hours before the so-called attack. Thus, it was a pre-planned action.”

The unanswered question as to how footage showing victims of an attack that occurred on August 21 was uploaded to YouTube on August 20 is in addition to doubts cast about the veracity of the videos by several chemical weapons experts.

Paula Vanninen of the Finnish Institute for Verification of the Chemical Weapons Convention questions the behavior of those seen handling the victims in the video footage. “At the moment, I am not totally convinced because the people that are helping them are without any protective clothing and without any respirators….In a real case, they would also be contaminated and would also be having symptoms,” he stated.

Stephen Johnson, an expert in weapons and chemical explosives at Cranfield Forensic Institute, told Euro News that the video footage also looked suspect.

“There are, within some of the videos, examples which seem a little hyper-real, and almost as if they’ve been set up. Which is not to say that they are fake but it does cause some concern. Some of the people with foaming, the foam seems to be too white, too pure, and not consistent with the sort of internal injury you might expect to see, which you’d expect to be bloodier or yellower,” Johnson said.

His comments were echoed by chemical and biological weapons researcher Jean Pascal Zanders, who said that the footage appears to show victims of asphyxiation, which is not consistent with the use of mustard gas or the nerve agents VX or sarin. “I’m deliberately not using the term chemical weapons here,” he said, adding that the use of “industrial toxicants” was a more likely explanation.
