A brother in Christ left a comment on the blog yesterday asking me if I was going to be writing about this year’s Super Bowl. I responded by saying I had not been paying attention to this event at all, and did not anticipate posting anything on the subject. That was yesterday. You never know what a new day will bring.
Out of curiosity, this morning I pulled up Sports Illustrated’s website to see who won the game which was a contest between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. (The Patriots won 28-24.) From there I took another step, then another. I did not want to spend much time on the Super Bowl as I am engaged in developing the current series on the Hebrew Roots Movement. However, the presence of a Luciferian/Illuminati message was so evident, and took so little time and effort to scope out, that I decided to post an article on the subject.
Let me begin with what I will refer to as the “environment” of the Super Bowl. By this I mean the location and date in which this event takes place. The date of the Super Bowl was February 1st. On the occult calendar observed by witches, Satanists, pagans, etc., this date is the first of four high sabbaths, being referred to as Imbolg, or Imbolc (the b is silent). The date of this witches sabbath falls about halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. The name February is derived from the Latin “februum” which means “purification.” Fire is considered the greatest purifying element, and has a fixed association with purification. Etymologically, both of the words “fire” and “pure” derive from the same root. We can see the similarity in words such as “pyre,” which is a pile of combustible material, often associated with the cremation of a corpse. A pyre is a fire used for purification. This fact has some relationship to the Super Bowl half-time celebration. Satan wants to cleanse the earth of all those who will not bow in obedience to him.
Each of the quarterly witches sabbaths are 13 weeks apart, thirteen being a number associated peculiarly with forbidden spiritual practices and associated with the idea of rebellion in the Bible (See E.W. Bullinger, Number in Scripture). A witches coven always has thirteen witches present, no more and no less. It is not coincidental that Groundhog Day, considered an innocent cultural event by many, but which is traceable back to dark pagan rituals, has its most famous observance in Punxsutawnee, Pennsylvania. The ceremony is convened by thirteen men dressed in black.

Imbolg/Imbolc is derived from Gaelic and means “in the belly.” It is a reference to both the earth and animals being pregnant with new life. The symbol for witchcraft is the pentagram, or five pointed star, with the point up, whereas the symbol of Satanism is the pentagram with the point down.

Look again at the logo for Super Bowl XLIX at the top of this post and you will observe the five pointed star in the very center of the image indicating that an occult ritual, a witches sabbath, will take place at this venue.
Having established the significance of the date, let us look at the location. Super Bowl XLIX was held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Glendale is located in the Valley of the Sun. The University of Phoenix Stadium is the Valley of the Sun’s main outdoor stadium. It replaced Sun Devil Stadium when it was opened on August 1, 2006. The connection to Sun worship, the devil, and the occult imagery of the Phoenix, declare loudly the Luciferian connections to this venue. Additionally, the stadium is located along 33 degrees north latitude, the number 33 being the highest degree in Scottish Rite Freemasonry.
Ritualistic witchcraft always takes place within the “sacred circle” of the coven and the stadium itself is in the shape of a large circle.

The Phoenix itself is a symbol embraced by Freemasonry and other Luciferian groups. The mythical Phoenix is consumed in fire, but then reborn from the ashes of its own destruction.

As such, the Phoenix is a symbol of Lucifer/Satan who was cast out of heaven and consumed to ashes, only to arise once more to be the “prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2) and the “god of this world” (II Corinthians 4:4).

“You were the anointed cherub who covers, and I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you. By the abundance of your trade you were internally filled with violence, and you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane from the mountain of God. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, that they may see you. By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your trade, you profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought fire from the midst of you; It has consumed you, and I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the eyes of all who see you.”
Satan has used the Phoenix as a symbol of his own destruction and resurrection, and he is worshiped in this guise by those who are his servants.

The book pictured above features a number of Masonic images on the cover, including the pyramid, the outraying light at the top of the pyramid signifying the all-seeing-eye, and the double-headed Eagle or Phoenix. The entry level Mason is intentionally misled as to the meaning of the symbols and rites of Freemasonry, as Albert Pike admits in his encyclopedic tome on the mysteries of Freemasonry titledMorals and Dogma.
The Blue Degrees are but the outer court or portico of the Temple. Part of the symbols are displayed there to the Initiate, but he is intentionally misled by false interpretations. It is not intended that he shall understand them; but it is intended that he shall imagine that he understands them. Their true explication is reserved for the Adepts, the Princes of Masonry...

Albert Pike confessed to the “Princes of Masonry” that their true god is Lucifer, and their doctrines are Luciferian. Albert Pike was the Supreme Commander of all Scottish Rite Freemasonry. There is a statue of him standing in Washington, D.C.. He spoke the following.
That which we must say to the crowd is - We worship a God, but it is the God that one adores without superstition.

Although I have not found this information online, I suspect very strongly that all of the men in top hats involved with the Groundhog Day event in Punxsutawney are members of one of the local lodges of Freemasonry.

What is the ritual of Groundhog Day symbolizing? The Groundhog comes out of his burrow (a hole in the earth) and if he sees his shadow winter will persist for six more weeks. It is all about seeing the light of the sun, illumination. The Sun is a star, and Satan/Lucifer is figured as a star that has fallen to the earth. It is this same star that adorns the top of Christmas trees (See the article What’s the Big Deal About Christmas?) It is the same star that carried Katy Perry aloft at the end of the half-time show of the Super Bowl. That the half-time show was a Luciferian ritual should be abundantly clear, but if there is any doubt, compare the checker board floor that is in all Masonic lodges with the floor of the arena during the half-time show.

Checkerboards, the Phoenix, Stars, Imbolg, Groundhog Day, Valley of the Sun, 33 degrees, Sun Devil... what is it all about? What was the message being broadcast during Super Bowl XLIX? To answer this question I must speak about the background of Katy Perry, the singer who was the featured main performer for this witches sabbath. Katy Perry, formerly known as Katy Hudson, comes from a Christian family. Both of her parents are ministers. She started out her singing career as a gospel artist and had hopes of being the next Amy Grant. She has stated in an interview that when her gospel career did not take off, she sold her soul to the devil. She wanted to be a star, and she found in Satan the means to fulfill her desire.

During the half-time performance, Lenny Kravitz played the role of Satan. He is the star maker. He can make a person’s dreams come true, but they have to bow down and worship him. How do we know this is the role played by Kravitz? It is because this is the same role he has recently played in the very popular The Hunger Gamesmovies. Lenny Kravitz plays the role of Cinna (sounds like slang for “sinner”), a stylist who is assigned to Katniss Everdeen played by Jennifer Lawrence. He takes an average girl and makes her into a star who is idolized by the people. Cinna designs a fire dress that greatly impresses the crowds when Katniss wears it in her first public appearance. Yet, the most significant apparel Cinna designs for Katniss is seen in the following images.
Each contestant in The Hunger Games appears on television on a type of game show where they are interviewed. In this particular scene, Katniss comes out wearing a wedding dress. She is engaged to marry one of the other contestants. During her interview she spins around and her dress catches fire transforming from white to black and sprouting angels wings. Yet these are black angel’s wings. They are symbolic of Satan. The esoteric meaning here is that Satan is able to transform the bride of Christ into his own image. Lenny Kravitz plays the role of the individual who accomplishes this transformation.
Through the half-time show for Super Bowl XLIX, Katy Perry, the former Christian and gospel singer, appears wearing a fire dress just like Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games. Why is Lenny Kravitz part of the half-time show? It is part of the esoteric ritual. When Kravitz first appears he is singing the song that launched Katy Perry into worldwide fame. The song is I Kissed a Girl (And I Liked It). He is singing this song, for he is appearing in the guise of Satan who transformed Katy Perry into a star by giving her a new career, a new life, a new fame. As Kravitz and Katy Perry are on stage, Katy symbolically gives herself to Kravitz intimately, and bows down before him.

What is symbolically being portrayed is that because Satan (Kravitz) gave Katy fame by giving her hit songs to sing, she has sold herself to Satan to worship him. She has surrendered herself to Satan fully, allowing him to place his seed in her (they simulate sexual intercourse during the performance). Even as those who have received the seed of Christ are to be transformed into the image of the Son of God, so too does Satan seek to transform men and women into his image. Look again at the image from The Hunger Games to see the transformation of Jennifer Lawrence from a bride to an angel of darkness.
Satan has not changed his methods for he know what works with mankind. When Christ walked the earth Satan offered to Him all the kingdoms of the earth, wealth, fame, everything the world has to offer, for it is all in Satan’s control. Yet the Son of God rebuffed this fallen angel. Tragically, Satan has found multitudes of the sons and daughters of Adam who will accept his offer. In the following video Katy Perry admits to having sold herself to the devil to obtain fame.

This half-time show was used by Satan to mock God, showing Him that Satan can take those who belong to Yahweh and transform them into Satan’s image. Katy Perry enters the stadium in the figure of the whore of Babylon riding upon a beast.

Satan is the proud lion showing off the one he has conquered. He has the daughter of two ministers, a former gospel singer, who has sold herself to do his will. He is parading her before the masses, and he has placed his words in her mouth. At the end of this segment, Katy Perry rears back her head as if to roar, but she does not roar in her own voice. Instead the voice of a lion is heard.

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Here is one who did not resist him, and Satan is boasting before a worldwide audience of his victory. In other acts of the show, we see portrayed another means by which Satan ensnares people. Not all people are trapped by their lust for fame or riches. Some are ensnared by their lust for knowledge. Light is used as a symbol of illumination. This is the principle that organizations such as Freemasonry operate upon. They promise the acolyte secret wisdom and hidden knowledge that they can gain nowhere else. As a man advances up the various degrees of Freemasonry he is given greater access to the secret teachings of the lodge, teachings that are reserved for those who demonstrate their loyalty and faithfulness to the lodge and its spiritual ruler, Lucifer.
This is what is signified through the pyramid with the all-seeing eye at the top. The out-raying light from the top of the pyramid symbolizes the knowledge of Lucifer (Lucifer being translated as “light bearer”).
From Darkness to Light
It is not coincidental that just prior to the half-time show, a commercial was broadcast for the Church of Scientology. This false, Luciferian religion ensnares men and women who lust for secret knowledge. It promises wisdom and knowledge to those who covet it.

Repeatedly, during the half-time show there are images of the All-Seeing-Eye. These are references to the vaunted wisdom of Satan which he promises to those who will make themselves his servants. His promise is that through knowledge they will be able to ascend, becoming gods themselves. This is what is illustrated at the very end of the show as Katy Perry ascends into the air, carried aloft by a brilliant blazing star. The star represents both Satan and the knowledge he holds forth.

Prior to this, during the chess board routine, we see Katy and the other characters all looking up as if they are imploring Satan, the god of this world, to lift them up above the constraints of this world.
Notice that even the other news sites that have commented on this half-time show have used terms referring to “light” when reviewing the performance. Here is Katy arrayed in her fire dress, just like Katniss Everdeen. Lenny Kravitz ties the two characters together. He was the star maker, the one who could transform an innocent into an angel (albeit a dark one). As Katy is borne aloft she is giving forth testimony that the knowledge of Satan can lift one into heavenly realms. She is also testifying that she has become a star herself. In Hollywood parlance, she is what people would call a star.
A number of sites have commented that the star carrying Katy resembled “The More You Know” star that is a symbol used by NBC.
This is the same five pointed star that is the symbol for witchcraft. Wicca, like Freemasonry, holds forth the allure of sacred knowledge that will enable a person to ascend from this mortal plane into spiritual realms. Knowledge has from the beginning of human history been held forth by Satan to ensnare mankind, leading them away from the will of God.

And the serpent said to the woman..., "God knows that in the day you eat from [the forbidden fruit of the tree in the middle of the Garden] your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.
Katy Perry being born aloft by the brilliant star speaks of the promise of Satan to mankind. Humanity can be as gods, if they will partake of the esoteric teachings of Scientology, Kabbalah, and Freemasonry (which is Kabbalah), etc..
As soon as the half-time show ended with Katy Perry borne aloft, the winner of the Super Bowl was foretold. Compare the star carrying Katy with the logo of the New England Patriots.
The five pointed star is emblazoned on the forehead of the Patriot. This speaks of the person having the imprint of the mind of Satan. If you have read the bookDragon Flood, you will know that the founding fathers of America, those who were declared American patriots, truly did have the mind of Lucifer. The rebellion against the King of England was carried forth by Freemasons. It was plotted in the Green Dragon Tavern in Boston, the upper floor of which served as a lodge of Freemasonry.
Much more could be said about this Super Bowl show. I have written this with some haste, being eager to return to the work I have previously engaged. I will include this word in closing. The path to promotion, to ascension, in the kingdom of God is one of humility, suffering, and abasement. Christ is our pattern. He emptied Himself, taking on the form of a bond-servant. He humbled Himself, washing His disciples’ feet. He endured the suffering and humiliation of the cross. Because of this, Yahweh has seated Him at the right hand of power. He has given Yahshua the name that is above every other name.
There are many in this world who would seek a shortcut to promotion and elevation. Yahweh warns all who entertain such thoughts of the consequences. He has said that He will debase the proud and the mighty while showing much grace to the humble. The path to divine knowledge, to receiving the keys that unlock the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, is one of abasement and suffering. Joseph patiently endured years of suffering in Egypt while his brothers were living careless lives of pleasure. He received promotion, and was made privy to the counsels of heaven while they were not. It was given to Joseph to teach wisdom to the princes of Egypt for he was recognized as one upon whom a divine spirit rested (Psalm 105:16-22).
Don’t be deceived by Satan’s bait. He will promise fame, fortune, pleasure, and knowledge. Yet what tastes so sweet in the beginning will be exceedingly bitter in the end. In the blazing star on the forehead of the Patriot I see the mark of the beast. It is the mind given over to Satan.
Revelation 14:9-12
And another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or upon his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up to the age of the ages; and they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Yahshua.
We are approaching the end of this age. It is an hour where the saints of God must exercise much patience. Do not allow a desire for knowledge, fame, wealth, or any other thing to entice your heart as it did our forebears in the Garden. Do not look for a path to divine sonship that bypasses the cross. Satan will make a trophy out of you and parade you before the world, but the end will be a bitter one.
