Silver Surges 4.5% To Over $37/Oz On Massive Fund Buying

Over 800 European banks have taken €529.5 billion from the ECB today after taking €489 billion euros at the first tender in December. The ECB’s 3 year lending is now near 1 trillion euros ($1.35 trillion) and the ECB’s balance sheet looks increasingly precarious.
Although the flood of paper has been credited with fuelling a rally on Europe’s distraught bond markets and safeguarding the region’s banks, it is another exercise in kicking the beer keg down the road as it fails to address the fundamental issue which is the insolvency of many European banks and many European nations and the obvious risk of contagion from that.
The continuation of ultra loose monetary policies increases the risk of inflation which will benefit gold which is an excellent inflation hedge. Extremely low yields on deposits and “risk free” sovereign debt means the opportunity cost of carrying non yielding bullion remains very low.
Spot silver gained 0.4% to $37.05 an ounce, after surging 4% and hitting a 5 month high of $37.21 in the previous session.
Silver as ever outperformed gold yesterday and traders attributed the surge to “massive fund buying” and to “panic” short covering. Some of the bullion banks with large concentrated short positions covered short positions after the technical level of $35.50/oz was breached easily.
Massive liquidity injections and ultra loose monetary policies make silver increasingly attractive for hedge funds, institutions and investors.
This time last year (February 28th 2011) silver was at $36.67/oz. Two months later on April 28th it had risen to $48.44/oz for a gain of 32% in 2 months.
There then came a very sharp correction and a period of consolidation in recent months. Silver’s fundamentals remain as bullish as ever and the technicals look increasingly bullish with strong gains seen in January and February.
Very bullish is the fact that silver also remains more than 30% below its record nominal high 32 years ago in 1980 and more than 75% below its inflation adjusted high of $140/oz in 1980.
The gold-silver ratio dropped to its lowest level in 5 months, after silver rose more than 12% so far this month and an enormous 34% this year, outperforming other precious metals.
Rising holdings of silver-backed ETF’s also indicated growing investor interest in the metal. The overall silver Exchange Traded Funds holdings rose to 491.079 million ounces, the highest since last May.
Spot platinum gained nearly 0.5% to $1,722.24, as investors await the latest in Impala Platinum's dealing with an illegal strike that has disrupted production at Rustenburg, the world's largest platinum mine.

OTHER NEWS
(AP) -- Silver Prices Jump, Playing Catch-up to Gold
Silver prices shot up 4.5 percent Tuesday, playing catch-up to gold.
Silver is both a precious and an industrial metal. Traders can buy it to hedge against a volatile stock market, as they do with gold. But it can also be used to make products like computer chips, meaning prices can rise when traders expect demand from manufacturers to go up.
In March contracts, silver rose $1.616 to $37.14 per ounce. It's up roughly 10 percent from where it was a year ago. Sterling Smith, senior market analyst at Country Hedging in St. Paul, Minn., said part of the reason silver is surging is that traders believe it's undervalued compared to gold. Gold closed at $1,788.40 an ounce, up $13.50 for the day. It's up about 26 percent compared to a year ago.
Copper rose 3.15 cents to $3.912 per pound, and platinum rose $9.20 to $1,723.50.
Energy contracts fell, partly because investors were pulling back after price gains last week. Oil prices remain close to nine-month highs because of concerns that Iran could cut shipments of crude to Europe and interfere with supplies elsewhere. The European Union and the U.S. are using sanctions against Iran because they fear the country is developing a nuclear weapon.
Benchmark oil fell $2.01 to finish at $106.55 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Natural gas prices fell 8.5 cents to end at $2.627 per 1,000 cubic feet. Heating oil fell 6.28 cents to $3.2201 per gallon.
Smith said grains and other agricultural products have been enjoying a "winning streak" for the past week. Those movements are especially important now as farmers decide what to plant this year.
Soybean prices on Monday topped $13 a bushel for the first time in five months. That's because traders think there will be greater demand for U.S. exports of the protein-rich beans because smaller harvests from South America are expected.
On Tuesday, soybeans for March delivery rose less than 1 percent, to $13.125 per bushel from $13.025. March wheat rose 15.5 cents to finish at $6.6825 per bushel. Corn ended up 8.75 cents to $6.5725 per bushel.
The price of orange juice also rose. Cocoa and sugar fell.
(Bloomberg) -- Gold-Oil Correlation Rises to Eight-Month High
Gold’s strengthening correlation with oil means more gains for the metal as Brent near a nine- month high spurs demand for an inflation hedge, UBS AG said.
The CHART OF THE DAY shows Brent prices reached $125.55 a barrel in London on Feb. 24, the highest since early May, and are up 15 percent this year. Bullion has gained 14 percent in the period and reached $1,787.55 an ounce last week, the highest since Nov. 14. The 30-week correlation coefficient between the commodities rose to 0.61 today, the most since June. A figure of 1 means the two always move in the same direction.
Gold’s “rolling correlation with oil is slowly inching higher and we think this signals that some catching up lies ahead,” Edel Tully, an analyst at UBS in London, wrote today in a report. “To the extent that rising oil prices feed into higher inflation expectations, gold is bound to reap benefits.”
Some investors buy gold to hedge against accelerating consumer prices and as a protection from slowing growth and geopolitical risk. The metal, which generally earns holders returns only through price gains, rallied for an 11th year in 2011 as central banks in Europe and the U.S. kept interest rates near record lows. Oil advanced this year on concern the west’s dispute with Iran over the Islamic republic’s nuclear program may lead to a disruption in exports from the Middle East.
Investors are holding a record 2,398.2 metric tons of gold in exchange-traded products backed by the metal, valued at about $137.1 billion, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. The tonnage exceeds the holdings of all but four central banks, which are expanding reserves for the first time in a generation.
The Islamic republic has threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz, a transit point for about 20 percent of globally traded crude oil, if its exports are banned in sanctions. While UBS forecasts Brent at $110 a barrel in the second quarter, “any Iran-related headlines, military threats or small incidents in the Persian Gulf are likely to push oil prices sharply higher and potentially boost gold in turn,” Tully said.
(Bloomberg) -- Oil Set for Best Month Since October on Recovery Signs, Iran
Oil rose, heading for its best month since October in New York, amid signs of economic recovery and concern that tension with Iran threatens global crude supplies.
West Texas Intermediate futures climbed as much as 0.6 percent after sliding yesterday the most in five weeks. Industrial output in Japan and South Korea beat estimates and U.S. consumer confidence rose to the highest level in a year. Oil has advanced 8.8 percent in February, its first monthly gain in three, as sanctions tighten against Iran, OPEC’s second- biggest producer.
(Bloomberg) -- Impala Says Strike Halts 2 Billion Rand of Platinum Output
Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd. said 100,000 ounces of output, equivalent to sales of 2 billion rand ($265 million), was halted by a strike at its Rustenburg mine.
The company, based in Johannesburg, is working to resume output at the world’s biggest platinum mine after bringing back 9,800 of 17,200 staff fired during the illegal strike, Impala said today in a statement. About 15,800 didn’t join the strike.
“It is dependent on operational turnout of staff,” Impala said. Fired workers have until tomorrow to return on their prior terms after the walkout, which has entered a sixth week.

Pyongyang rattles saber over Key Resolve drill

South Korea and the U.S. kicked off their joint Key Resolve military exercise yesterday, as North Korea issued yet another threat to strike back.

Key Resolve, which will go on until March 9, will involve about 200,000 South Korean troops and 2,100 U.S. troops. About 800 more U.S. participants will come from outside South Korea, according to the South Korea-U.S. Combined Forces Command.

Officials have stressed that Key Resolve is “routine and defense-oriented” and was planned months in advance, with no connection to current international affairs.

They also said Australia, Canada, Denmark, Norway and Britain, members of the UN Command, will take part as observers.

North Korea routinely denounces the Key Resolve drills as precursors for an invasion.

On Monday, North Korea accused the two allies of being “poised for a war carrying nuclear war equipment” and dubbed the South and the U.S. “warmongers.”

“The war drills are an unpardonable infringement upon the sovereignty and dignity of the DPRK as they evidently target the DPRK, which is in the mourning period” after the death of former leader Kim Jong-il, said a report on the Korean Central News Agency, Pyongyang’s state media. DPRK stands for the North’s official name, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

“The army and people of the DPRK are fully ready to fight a war with them,” the report added.

Last Saturday, Pyongyang had vowed to launch a “sacred war” against South Korea and the U.S. In light of that threat, the South and the U.S. on Sunday heightened their alert against North Korea.

They have fully mobilized their surveillance assets, such as radar and reconnaissance planes, and the South’s Air Force placed its F-15K fighters on emergency standby.

Earlier Sunday, the KCNA said the North’s new leader Kim Jong-un inspected frontline artillery units. Military officials here said the North has also placed its 4th Army Corps in the southwestern region on heightened alert and recently conducted live-fire drills, apparently targeting South Korea.

Another joint exercise, Foal Eagle, will take place from March 1 to April 30 and include about 11,000 U.S. forces plus South Korean troops in division-sized or smaller units, officials have said. Yonhap

The next big global financial crisis will emanate from China

The next big global financial crisis will emanate from China. That is not a firm prediction. But few countries have avoided crises after financial liberalization and global integration. Think of the U.S. in the 1930s, Japan and Sweden in the early 1990s, Mexico and South Korea in the later 1990s and the U.S., UK and much of the eurozone now. Financial crises afflict every kind of country. As Carmen Reinhart of the Peterson Institute for International Economics and Kenneth Rogoff of Harvard have remarked, they are “an equal opportunity menace”. Would China be different? Only if Chinese policymakers retain their caution.

Such caution permeated last week’s report that the People’s Bank of China hasrecommended accelerated opening up of the Chinese financial system. Given what is at stake, in both China and the world, it is essential to consider the implications. Maybe the world will then do a better job of managing this process than it has done in the past.

This plan was published by Xinhua, the state news agency, not on the PBoC’s web site. Moreover, it was published under the name of Sheng Songcheng, head of the statistics department, not that of the governor or a deputy governor. This must mean that it is more an exercise in kite-flying than a policy. Nevertheless, this was published with the PBoC’s approval and, quite possibly, with that of people much higher up still.

The article lays out three stages for reform. The first, to occur over the next three years, would clear the path for more Chinese investment abroad as “the shrinkage of western banks and companies has vacated space for Chinese investments” and so presented a “strategic opportunity”. The second phase, in between three and five years, would accelerate foreign lending of the renminbi. In the longer term, over five to 10 years, foreigners could invest in Chinese stocks, bonds and property. Free convertibility of the renminbi would be the “last step”, to be taken at an unspecified time. It would also be combined with restrictions on “speculative” capital flows and short-term foreign borrowing. In sum, full integration would be indefinitely delayed.

What are the implications of this plan? The answer is that it seems sensible. In reaching that view, one has to take into account the benefits and risks of financial “reform and opening” for China and the world.

The arguments for such opening up to the world are closely connected to those for domestic reform. Indeed, the former cannot be undertaken prior to the latter: opening up today’s highly regulated financial system to the world is a recipe for disaster, as Chinese policymakers know. It is for this reason that full convertibility would come in the distant future, as this plan suggests.

Happily, arguments for domestic reform are powerful. Dynamic financial markets are an essential element in any economy that wishes both to sustain growth and to begin rivaling rich countries in productivity, as China surely aspires to do. More immediately, as Nicholas Lardy of the Peterson Institute for International Economics notes in a recent study: “Negative real deposit rates impose a high implicit tax on households, which are large net depositors in the banking system, and lead to excessive investment in residential housing. Negative real lending rates subsidize investment in capital-intensive industries, thus undermining the goal of restructuring the economy in favor of light industries and services.”*

Yet, as Mr Lardy also knows, this distorted financial regime is part of a wider system for taxing savings, promoting investment and repressing consumption, which has led to huge interventions in foreign currency markets and vast accumulations of foreign currency reserves. The deeper case for reform is that this system no longer contributes to a desirable pattern of development. But it has become so deeply entrenched in the economy that reform is politically fraught and economically disruptive. The question is even whether such reform is politically feasible. It is surely likely to be a slow process.

How would the PBoC’s proposed moves towards opening up then fit with such a cautious reform? Presumably, the greater freedom for capital outflows envisaged for the next five years would partly substitute for accumulations of foreign currency reserves. Yet if this went with suggested moves towards higher real interest rates, China’s savings and current account surpluses might explode, worsening the external imbalances.

This point underlines just how big a stake the rest of the world has in the nature of China’s reform and opening up of the financial sector.

China’s gross savings are running at an annual rate of well over $3 trillion, which is more than 50 per cent larger than the gross savings of the U.S.. Full integration of these vast flows is sure to have huge global effects. China’s financial institutions, already enormous, are also almost certain to become the biggest in the world over the next decade. One need only think back to Japan’s integration in the 1980s and subsequent financial implosion to recognize the possible dangers. We should be pleased, therefore, that China is taking a cautious approach.

The world has a huge interest in a shift of China’s economy towards more balanced growth. It has a parallel interest in the way China manages its domestic reform and opening up of the financial system. A whole range of policies need to be co-ordinated, particularly over financial regulation, monetary policy and exchange rate regimes. If this is done well, today’s high-income countries’ crisis will not be promptly followed by the “China crisis” of the 2020s or 2030s. If it is done badly, even the Chinese might lose control, with devastating results.

The PBoC suggests a timetable of reforms that would fit with China’s and the world’s needs. But if this is to happen, thorough discussion of all the implications must now occur. China’s policies do not matter for the Chinese alone. That is what it means to be a superpower — as the U.S. should note.

2012 The Year Of Living Dangerously

It is a curious world that we live in these days. America bumping along, China grinding down, Europe gaming the system, bonds trading off Treasuries compressing significantly, equities buoyed by new cash and the dearth of decent places to put capital and a risk factor that increases with each ratchet up of the great European pyramid scheme. It was on January 13, 2010 that I said Greece would default and yesterday S&P placed them in default which was so widely expected that the market yawned and turned its attention to the coming European LTRO. I think the markets will be surprised, during the next few weeks, with the consequences of the Greek default but that remains to be seen. In the meantime, despite the ECB’s open spigot, one of the major banks in Austria needed to be recapitalized yesterday with Austria not only injecting new capital but taking an almost one billion dollar hit.

We are living in a world these days of semi-transparent “knowns” and great “unknowns” that provide a complexity for investing far past any normal scenario. Not only could the markets be turned on the proverbial dime but they could be violently ratcheted down the cliffs of Dover by any number of possible and not outlier events. Knowing about something and understanding the intended and unintended consequences are two different turns of the screw. As the last several years have unfolded I have noted a progress of events where markets rally on manufactured headlines, calm down and then react negatively as the entire story is understood. A pattern has developed in fact which is why I point out the grave dangers lurking now in the Great Game and why I continue to advise caution and cash as we veer off the bumpers in some strange pinball game that sometimes seems to have been mechanized by some hallucinating artist such as Salvador Dali. Europe continues to just barely pull the cat out of the hat but I shudder at the consequences when the trickery no longer produces the desired effects and the audience catches on to the magician’s deceit.

You will recall the days leading into the sub-prime meltdown; easy money, loans without documentation, a massive leveraging up of assets and then the crack in the Earth’s surface and the abyss that we faced. When I regard Europe these days I see a repeat of this cycle which now involves sovereign credits and European banks and easy money and loans without documentation and a massive leveraging up of assets and liabilities with unhampered capital provided by the printing presses at the European Central Bank. The similarities are there for all of us that would like to stop and look, which clearly is not many, but then that was also the case during the heady days of the subprime funding madness. First it was Greece and then Ireland and Portugal and now Spain is sinking into the quicksand and asking for better terms so it doesn’t have to plunge into even greater fiscal controls and austerity measures and the pressures on the fault lines are increasing dramatically in my opinion.

I point specifically to the reasons for my increasing concern; the European banks are three times larger than the European sovereigns, the ECB is not the Federal Reserve Bank of the United States, the leading economy in Europe, Germany, is 22% of the economy of America, that there are ever and always consequences for providing free money, that Europe is in a recession and it will be much deeper than thought by many in my view, that the demanded austerity measures are unquestionably worsening the recession and increasing unemployment, that nations become much more self-centered when their economies are contracting and that the more protracted all of this is; the more pronounced Newton’s reaction will be when the pendulum reverses course.

Now I am quite used to being ballyhooed. It was on December 27, 2007 when I identified the risks of subprime mortgages and CDO’s, my early call on Greece was when their ten year yield 4.38% and while perhaps not of giant intellect I am a reasonably good sleuth. I tout nothing but I warn plenty in an effort to keep all of you out of some gaping hole that is squarely in front of the path that we are taking. It is not gloom and doom that I pull around like Pig Pen’s black cloud but a giant warning sign that I plant firmly in the ground which says, “Don’t step here.” Today I point at Europe and intone once again, “Don‘t step here.”

Babylon Rising Part Four

Child Sacrifice to Moloch

There is a statement found in the book of II Kings that numerous theologians have struggled to understand. It relates to human sacrifice, and I would begin this post by making some examination of this passage. It is often the mistake of Christians today to consider modern society to have advanced intellectually or morally, having cast off the superstitions and idolatries of the ancient nations one reads about in the Old Testament, but this is not so. Worship of false gods, and participation in abominable practices, are just as prevalent today, even more so, than they were in the days of the ancient peoples of the Old Testament. This Luciferian worship has simply taken on different form.

In the book of II Kings we read that, after the death of Ahab, the king of Moab revolted. Moab had formerly been a vassal state, bringing tribute to Israel, but sensing weakness upon the death of Ahab, they rebelled. Jehoram, the king of Israel, entreated Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, and the king of Edom, to join him in battle against the Moabites. These three kings went together against the king of Moab and his people.

As they proceeded to travel some seven days in full battle array, they went through wilderness places where there was no water. Some began to despair that they would perish, whereupon Jehoshaphat asked if there were a prophet of Yahweh to whom they could inquire. He was told that Elisha was nearby, and the kings went to seek the counsel of Yahweh through the prophet. Elisha stated that Yahweh would have no regard for this kingly assemblage if it were not for the presence of Jehoshaphat. Jehoshaphat alone was ha faithful worshiper of Yahweh; His chief transgression being that he repeatedly erred by making alliances with kings who served other gods. Nevertheless, Yahweh had determined that Moab should be judged due to their idolatrous worship and many abominations, and He declared that He would deliver Moab into the hands of the three kings. Yahweh also provided water for their armies in the wilderness.

The three kings overthrew the entire kingdom of Moab. Having slain her warriors, they also cut down all her trees, and cast large stones into every field at the command of Yahweh. The king of Moab made one last attempt to break through the lines of the three kings, but was rebuffed and returned to take refuge inside a walled city. It is at this point that we read the following.

II Kings 3:26-27
When the king of Moab saw that the battle was too fierce for him, he took with him 700 men who drew swords, to break through to the king of Edom; but they could not. Then he took his oldest son who was to reign in his place, and offered him as a burnt offering on the wall. And there came great wrath against Israel, and they departed from him and returned to their own land.

The part of this narration that has been difficult for many Bible scholars and students to understand is the phrase “and there came great wrath against Israel.” Following is how one Bible commentary describes this passage.

Some refer it to the king of Edom's son, whom they say he had taken in that skirmish: but rather it seemed to be his own son, whom he offered to his gods to pacify them: which barbarous cruelty moved the Israelites hearts of pity to depart.
(from Geneva Notes)

Some other commentaries suggest that the remaining Moabites, observing their king offering his eldest son as a sacrifice to appease their god, were filled with fierce rage at the three kings attacking them, and their wrath was such that the kings abandoned the attack and returned to their own lands. What both of these explanations avoid is attributing wrath to the deity of the Moabites. Many Christians today, especially those in Western nations, avoid what they decry as “spiritualizing.” They seek to find a natural explanation of events, while avoiding any acknowledgment of the very significant role unseen spiritual forces play in this world.

From ancient times it was understood that the gods (actually fallen angels who rule as principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in this world - Ephesians 6:12), could be induced to aid men in their enterprises through means of sacrificing to them. The pagan nations would bring corn, wine, and oil, as well as gold and silver, to entreat their gods to favor them. The prophet Hosea reproved Israel and Judah for following these evil practices by making sacrifices and offerings to false gods.

Hosea 2:8
For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.

For those who believe America and western nations are too scientific and advanced in their thinking to practice such things today, I hope to dispel your illusions. Every major building in Washington D.C., the capital of the United States, was dedicated with the laying of the cornerstone in a Masonic ritual. In every occurrence, the Freemasons, many of whom were Congressmen, Presidents, and other national leaders, would offer corn, oil, and wine as part of the ceremony.

Small Print (Erected 1974 by the Grand Lodge Free and Accepted Masons of Indiana)

You can read of the Masonic dedication of the Capitol Building in Washington D.C. which President George Washington, a Freemason, participated in, at the following website. (Note that the website is Masonic, and the symbolic meaning of various elements of the ceremony are given definitions intended for the non-initiated. Squaring the rock, the images of oil, wine, and corn, are all given very benevolent meanings, for they are intended to deceive the non-initiates, those not granted access to the esoteric meaning of such displays. Those of the 32nd degree and above have it openly declared to them that Freemasonry is devoted to Lucifer. It is known at the highest levels, where true knowledge of “the deep things of Satan” are made known, that the ceremonies are intended to evoke Lucifer’s blessing upon the endeavor.)

http://freemasonsfordummies.blogspot.com/2011/01/freemasons-and-us-capitol-cornerstone.html

Specific words are recited at each cornerstone laying ceremony. Following is that portion of the ritual relating to the corn, wine and oil. As you read it, keep in mind that the one referred to as Supreme Grand Architect, Supreme Ruler of the World, and Almighty God is Satan.

The Deputy Grand Master receives from the Grand Marshal the vessel containing Corn, and spreads the corn upon the stone, saying:

DEPUTY GRAND MASTER: May the health of the workman employed in this undertaking be preserved to them, and the Supreme Grand Architect bless and prosper their labors.

ALL BRETHREN: So mote it be.

The Grand Senior Warden then receives from the Grand Marshal the vessel containing wine, and pours the wine upon the stone, saying:

GRAND SENIOR WARDEN: May plenty be showered down upon the people of this State, and may the blessing of the bounteous Giver of all things attend their philanthropic undertakings.

ALL BRETHREN: So mote it be.

The Grand Junior Warden then receives the vessel containing Oil and pours the oil upon the stone, saying:

GRAND JUNIOR WARDEN: May the Supreme Ruler of the World preserve the people in peace, and vouchsafe to them the enjoyment of every blessing.

GRAND MASTER: May the Corn of nourishment, the Wine of Refreshment, the Oil of Joy, and all the necessaries of life abound among men throughout the world, and may the blessing of Almighty God be upon this undertaking, and may this structure here to be erected be preserved to the latest ages in order that it may promote the useful purpose for which it is designed

ALL BRETHREN: So mote it be.

The words “So mote it be” may be familiar to some as a phrase used by Satanists, witches, and modern pagans. Following is an excerpt from a website explaining its usage.

Occultist Aleister Crowley used "So mote it be" in some of his writings, and claimed it to be an ancient and magical phrase, but it's possible he borrowed it from the Masons. In Freemasonry, "So mote it be" is the equivalent of "Amen" or "As God wills it to be." Gerald Gardner, the founder of modern Wicca, was also known to have Masonic connections, although there's some question about whether or not he was a Master Mason as he claimed to be. Regardless, it's no surprise that the phrase turns up in contemporary Pagan practice, considering the influence that the Masons had on both Gardner and Crowley.

In modern Wiccan traditions, the phrase often appears as a way of wrapping up a ritual or magical working. It's basically a way of saying, "And so it shall be."
[Source: http://paganwiccan.about.com/od/glossary/g/SoMoteItBe.htm]

Every major government building in Washington D.C. was dedicated with a Masonic cornerstone laying ceremony. Today, a great many libraries, county courthouses, and elementary, junior high, and high schools, were dedicated by a Masonic cornerstone laying ceremony. There are great numbers of such buildings that were so dedicated in the area in which I live in Georgia. Undoubtedly, this same ceremony has been carried out frequently in your area. All of these buildings are dedicated to Lucifer, deceptively called “the Great Architect of the Universe,” “Supreme World Ruler,” or some similar euphemistic title.

You may even be surprised to know that Freemasons are involved in the dedication ceremonies of a great many churches, both in this nation’s early history, and at the present. Following are a few examples.

Although Freemasons at the lower levels are intentionally deceived about the institution they have joined themselves to, and are misled about the deeper esoteric meaning of its rituals, oaths, and doctrines, they are nonetheless carrying forth a Luciferian agenda. There are professing Christians today who are attending churches dedicated to Lucifer. The cornerstone is chosen as a symbol of the spiritual power that the building rests upon even as Yahshua the Messiah is declared to be the cornerstone of the true church. The Masons pour out corn, wine, and oil on the cornerstone as an offering to the deity even as the ancient Israelites offered corn, wine, and oil to the pagan deities of the nations around them.

Yahweh told Israel before He brought them into the land of Canaan to not learn or practice the rites and ways of the people they were to dispel from the land. Yahweh’s chosen people failed in this charge. Tragically, many Christians today are following the same pattern as the idolatrous Israelites. They observe the high holy days originated in ancient Babylonian worship of the Sun, Moon and stars such as Christmas, Easter, and Lent, etc.. Some have even dedicated their houses of worship to Lucifer, invoking his favor and presence with the same phrase uttered by Satanists and practitioners of Wicca, “So mote it be.”

For more information on the Luciferian foundations of America, see the following article:

http://parablesblog.blogspot.com/2008/09/luciferian-foundation-of-america.html

When great endeavors, or great assistance from the false gods (fallen angels) was required, a much more costly offering than corn, wine, and oil was required. The greatest sacrifice man could offer to the spiritual forces of wickedness that reign with Satan over this fallen world system, was a human victim whose blood and flesh would be offered to the deity. Satan, and those spiritual forces of wickedness in high places that rule with him, come only to kill, steal and destroy. Yahshua testified of Satan that “he was a murderer from the beginning.”

The king of Moab and his people were in great need as the three kings pressed them sorely. An offering of corn, wine and oil was insufficient to move the spiritual forces of wickedness to act on their behalf. A much greater sacrifice was required. A human sacrifice. Nor did the king choose a citizen at random from among his people. He chose the heir to the throne, his eldest son, and slew him as a sacrifice to invoke Chemosh, the demon god of the Moabites, to act on their behalf.

Numbers 21:29
Woe to you, Moab! You have perished, O people of Chemosh!

Chemosh was a god associated with the Semitic mother-goddess Ashtar, whose name he bears... Chemosh, therefore, was in general a deity of the same nature as Baal. On critical occasions a human sacrifice was considered necessary to secure his favor (compare II Kings iii. 27)...

The name of the father of Mesha, Chemosh-melek ("Chemosh is Malik" or "Chemosh is king"; compare Moabite Stone, line 1), indicates the possibility that Chemosh and Malik (or Moloch) were one and the same deity. Judges xi. 24 has been thought by some to be a proof of this, since it speaks of Chemosh as the god of the Ammonites, while Moloch is elsewhere their god (compare I Kings xi. 7, 33). Several critics regard the statement in Judges as a mistake; but such an error was not unnatural, since both Chemosh and Moloch were developed, in different environments, from the same primitive divinity, and possessed many of the same epithets.

There is a war going on among spiritual forces that is unseen to the eye of man. The book of Daniel makes mention of this struggle as the holy angel Gabriel was sent to deliver a message to Daniel. Gabriel was resisted by the spiritual principality known as the Prince of Persia.

Daniel 10:12-13
Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.”

The “kings of Persia” to whom Gabriel refers are fallen angels who are assigned to specific regions of the earth. Satan has a very orderly kingdom. There are powerful angels who have joined themselves to him in his rebellion. At the same time, Yahweh has assigned holy angels to accomplish His will upon the earth, and to guard and shepherd His people.

Hebrews 1:13-14
But to which of the angels has He ever said: "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool"? Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister to those who will inherit salvation?

There is never any admonition for the saints of God to entreat angels directly to do their bidding. The prayers of Christ’s disciples are to be directed to Yahweh, their heavenly Father. It is Yahweh who will determine whether to send forth angels on behalf of His people. Yahweh chooses the time of the deliverance, provision, and revelation that is granted to His sons and daughters.

(There is a false move afoot in the church today where Christians are being urged to pray to, or command, angels. Such is a work of Satan. The assignment of holy angels is a duty appointed only to Yahweh. Fallen men who would usurp this role do err greatly.)

Daniel was in prayer and fasting to Yahweh for three weeks. It was Yahweh who sent Gabriel, and at the proper moment He also sent Michael. Yahweh is moved by the fervent, and effectual prayers of His people. Christ is our pattern man.

Hebrews 5:7
In the days of His flesh, He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His godly fear.

James 5:16-18
The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

Yahweh requires only that men seek Him, and humble themselves before Him. We have the promise that if we seek Him with all of our heart, He will hear us. Satan and his ruling angels are not so easily entreated. Satan has no love for mankind. He is a murderer, sowing tragedy, sorrow, and corruption among the sons of Adam. To get him to act, he requires sacrifice, even human sacrifice.

Psalms 106:35-41
They mingled with the nations and learned their practices, and served their idols, which became a snare to them. They even sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons, and shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and their daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with the blood. Thus they became unclean in their practices, and played the harlot in their deeds. Therefore the anger of Yahweh was kindled against His people and He abhorred His inheritance. Then He gave them into the hand of the nations, and those who hated them ruled over them.

Ezekiel 16:20-21
“Moreover, you took your sons and daughters whom you had borne to Me and sacrificed them to idols to be devoured. Were your harlotries so small a matter? You slaughtered My children and offered them up to idols by causing them to pass through the fire.”

Jeremiah 7:31-34
“And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into My heart. Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says Yahweh, "when it will no more be called Tophet, or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter; for they will bury in Tophet until there is no room. The corpses of this people will be food for the birds of the heaven and for the beasts of the earth. And no one will frighten them away.”

It is not coincidental that America and China are among the most powerful nations on earth at this hour. Satan is the ruler of this fallen world and he gives wealth and status where he desires. Among the nations of this world, America and China are leaders in sacrificing their children. China has since 1979 implemented its one child policy. It is estimated that from 1979 to 2011 this policy has prevented 400 million births. (Data Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One-child_policy) Much of this has been through voluntary, and even forced abortions. Lucifer is the dark spiritual force that has initiated this practice.

In America, an estimated 50 to 60 million babies have been aborted since 1973 when the Supreme Court made Roe v. Wade the law of the land. Despite great protest, and many promises of politicians over the years to bring an end to this murder of children in the womb, no serious threats have arisen to challenge the practice. Satan demands this sacrifice. That nation that would look to Satan to acquire power must continually offer up this evil sacrifice. It is evident with all of the Masonic influence in key places throughout this nation, its architecture, symbols, laws, and constitution, that America was established as a Luciferian nation.

Now in this late hour we are seeing the evil fruit of Satan’s rule come to full maturity. America is a land of abominations. The blood of tens of millions of babies butchered in clinics throughout the land are crying out for justice. The land is filled with hedonistic men and women to whom pleasure and instant gratification has become their chief pursuit. Homosexuality, murder, child molestation, adultery, fornication, violence, theft, and the perversion of children is rampant.

It is with sadness that I recommend the following article to those who want to know the depths of depravity promoted openly by our government and the agencies it supports as it seeks to subvert the nation’s children.

In the previous post I shared about the ArcelorMittal Orbit and its link to the New Babylon. In the New Babylon men, women and children would pursue unfettered fleshly fulfillment. There would be no moral constraint. Even sexual exploitation of children would be permitted. This is the liberty and freedom that Satan holds forth to men. In actuality, what Satan offers is absolute slavery to the bestial nature.

A couple days ago a sister in Christ sent me a slide show of paintings by Robert Duncan. They are exceptional not only for their quality, but for their subject matter. The images are of family life, creative labor, child rearing, and life on the farm. Satan has worked hard to destroy everything that is pure among mankind, and the family has especially been under attack. What a wicked triumph it is for Satan to take men and women who were created in the image of God and induce them to destroy their children. This is the influence of the governments of the world under the influence of Satan. Yet God would redeem mankind, deliver them from their slavery to sin, and bring forth something that is beautiful. I invite you to view the following slide show to consider the contrast between what is presented there and the images with which Planned Parenthood is oppressing and corrupting children.

I have much more to write on this subject of human sacrifice, but I will continue in another post as I have put a lot of links in this writing. If the readers of this post are inclined to read the material at the various links this will already be a lengthy blog posting.
