Iranians have held fresh rallies across the country, including the capital Tehran, to condemn Saudi Arabia’s execution of prominent cleric, Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr.

Thousands of people marched through Tehran following the Friday Prayers amid tensions between Iran and Saudi Arabia over the past week.

The demonstrators chanted slogans against the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia and condemned the Al Saudi regime’s crimes, including the killing of Sheikh Nimr.

Some of the protesters carried placards with the picture of the prominent cleric who was executed in Saudi Arabia along with 46 others on January 2 for terrorism-related charges.

Nimr’s execution was widely censured by Muslims and human rights activists around the globe as well as different governments.

Saudi Arabia severed diplomatic relations with Iran on January 3 following demonstrations held in front of the Saudi embassy in Tehran and its consulate in the northeastern city of Mashhad by angry protesters censuring the Al Saud family for the killing of Nimr. Some people mounted the walls of the consulate in Mashhad while incendiary devices were hurled at the embassy in Tehran. Some 50 people were detained over the transgression.

MIT: Human-Animal Chimeras Are Gestating on U.S. Research Farms

By Antonio Regalado

Braving a funding ban put in place by America’s top health agency, some U.S. research centers are moving ahead with attempts to grow human tissue inside pigs and sheep with the goal of creating hearts, livers, or other organs needed for transplants.

The effort to incubate organs in farm animals is ethically charged because it involves adding human cells to animal embryos in ways that could blur the line between species.

Last September, in a reversal of earlier policy, the National Institutes of Health announced it would not support studies involving such “human-animal chimeras” until it had reviewed the scientific and social implications more closely.

Hiromitsu Nakauchi

The agency, in a statement, said it was worried about the chance that animals’ “cognitive state” could be altered if they ended up with human brain cells.

The NIH action was triggered after it learned that scientists had begun such experiments with support from other funding sources, including from California’s state stem-cell agency. The human-animal mixtures are being created by injecting human stem cells into days-old animal embryos, then gestating these in female livestock.

Based on interviews with three teams, two in California and one in Minnesota, MIT Technology Review estimates that about 20 pregnancies of pig-human or sheep-human chimeras have been established during the last 12 months in the U.S., though so far no scientific paper describing the work has been published, and none of the animals were brought to term.

The extent of the research was disclosed in part during presentations made at the NIH’s Maryland campus in November at the agency’s request. One researcher, Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte of the Salk Institute, showed unpublished data on more than a dozen pig embryo containing human cells. Another, from the University of Minnesota, provided photographs of a 62-day-old pig fetus in which the addition of human cells appeared to have reversed a congenital eye defect.

The experiments rely on a cutting-edge fusion of technologies, including recent breakthroughs in stem-cell biology and gene-editing techniques. By modifying genes, scientists can now easily change the DNA in pig or sheep embryos so that they are genetically incapable of forming a specific tissue. Then, by adding stem cells from a person, they hope the human cells will take over the job of forming the missing organ, which could then be harvested from the animal for use in a transplant operation.

“We can make an animal without a heart. We have engineered pigs that lack skeletal muscles and blood vessels,” says Daniel Garry, a cardiologist who leads a chimera project at the University of Minnesota. While such pigs aren’t viable, they can develop properly if a few cells are added from a normal pig embryo. Garry says he’s already melded two pigs in this way and recently won a $1.4 million grant from the U.S. Army, which funds some biomedical research, to try to grow human hearts in swine.

Although Nakauchi was a star scientist, Japanese regulators were slow to approve his idea for chimeras—a “pig man” as critics put it—and by 2013 Nakauchi decided to move to the U.S., where no federal law restricts the creation of chimeras. Stanford was able to recruit him with the help of a $6 million grant from the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine, a state agency set up a decade ago to bypass political interference from Washington.

While the NIH funding ban doesn’t affect Nakauchi, it has put researchers under pressure to explain the purpose of their work. “I want to show you some chimeras,” Nakauchi said when I visited his laboratory at Stanford last month. He opened the door to a small room containing incubators where the chimeric embryos are stored. Because an early embryo is almost invisible to the human eye, the room houses special microscopes equipped with micro-needles used to inject the human cells into them.

The type of human cells being added are called iPS cells, made from skin or blood chemically reprogrammed into more versatile stem cells using a Nobel Prize-winning formula developed by one of Nakauchi’s Japanese colleagues. Nakauchi says that as a matter of convenience, most of the iPS cells his team has been placing into animal embryos are made from his own blood, since recruiting volunteers involves too much paperwork.

“We need a special consent if we’re injecting into animals,” he says sheepishly. “So I try to use my own.”

A pig at the swine unit of the University of California, Davis. Scientists hope to grow human organs in such animals.

The word chimera comes from the creature of Greek myth, part lion, part goat, and part snake. Nakauchi says most people at first imagine his chimeras are monsters, too. But he says attitudes change if he can explain his proposal. One reason is that if his iPS cells develop inside an animal, the resulting tissue will actually be his, a kind of perfectly matched replacement part. Desperately ill people on organ waiting lists might someday order a chimera and wait less than a year for their own custom organ to be ready. “I really don’t see much risk to society,” he says.

North Korea H-bomb is 'super-EMP weapon'

Image result for korean emp bomb

WASHINGTON – While North Korea on Wednesday was hyperbolically bragging about having exploded a test hydrogen bomb, some nuclear weapons experts were downplaying the event because of its low-kiloton yield and relatively small seismic wave.

In fact, the White House said the results from various monitors simply weren’t consistent with a hydrogen bomb, which can be far more powerful than an atomic bomb.

But one top specialist says the monitor results and North Korea’s claims align fully with the scenario of a device designed for a low yield, yet emitting an enhanced amount of gamma rays.

Peter Pry, an expert on electromagnetic pulse weapons, told WND the explosion indeed was such a device.

Pry said Pyongyang’s latest test, which followed three others each in the range of 10 kilotons or less, was “another kind of H-Bomb,” a neutron bomb, or enhanced radiation weapon such as a super-EMP weapon.

Such weapons constitute, essentially, a “very low-yield H-Bomb that typically has yields of 1-10 kilotons, just like the North Korean device,” he said.

North Korea has been conducting underground nuclear tests since February 2013, all of which have been of low-kiloton yield.

Pry previously has warned that Pyongyang was working on a low-yield radiation bomb with very high emissions of gamma rays.

A year ago, Pry told WND that North Korea was working on such a device, but that the Obama administration denied it had developed miniaturized nuclear warheads and missiles to deliver them.

The denial, Pry said, came despite an assessment by both the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Central Intelligence Agency that such do indeed exist.

“President Obama himself began this big lie amidst the 2013 nuclear crisis when North Korea was threatening to make nuclear missile strikes against the U.S. and its allies,” Pry said.

Pry is a former analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency and a former staff director of the congressionally mandated EMP commission that examined the likely effects of an EMP on the U.S. national grid system and unprotected electronics. He also is the executive director of the congressional advisory Task Force on National and Homeland Security and the U.S. Nuclear Strategy Forum.

Pry, like other experts on EMP, was concerned that the North Koreans could launch a missile with a satellite that could constitute a nuclear device designed to explode on command at a high altitude over a highly populated area of a highly technical society such as the United States.

Such an explosion would be capable of knocking out the nation’s already vulnerable electrical grid system and all of the life-sustaining critical infrastructures that depend on it. From food supply chains, fuel supply systems, communications, banking and more, all grid-dependent systems could suffer.

Pry is author of the recent book, “Blackout Wars,” which focuses on EMP-related lessons learned and what the several states are doing on their own initiative, “because of Washington’s lethargy in dealing with this existential threat,” according to former Ambassador Henry F. Cooper, who was the first director of the Strategic Defense Initiative under former President George H. W. Bush.

“It should be understood that the challenge is almost entirely political – technical solutions have been known for a half century and expected expenses are relatively minor,” Cooper said.

North Korea said it had detonated an underground hydrogen bomb, drawing immediate condemnation from the United States, Britain, Japan, South Korea and even China, which until now was thought to have some influence over the North Korean leadership.

However, China was apparently not advised of the detonation beforehand.

North Korea’s KCNA website made the announcement that it had tested a “miniaturized” hydrogen bomb “in the most perfect manner.”

“(North Korean leader) Kim Jong-un could be telling the truth,” Pry told G2Bulletin. “Indeed, all four North Korean nuclear tests look like a super-EMP weapon because of their very low yield. That the ‘Dear Leader’ described the latest test as an H-Bomb is further evidence that North Korea’s mysterious nuke is a super-EMP warhead.”

Pry was referring to a so-called enhanced radiation weapon, or neutron bomb, designed to generate enhanced gamma rays which in turn cause the super-EMP effect.

An H-bomb of identical explosive yield of a fission, or atomic, bomb is a neutron bomb that will emit some 10 times the amount of neutron radiation. In an atomic device, the total radiation pulse energy composed of gamma rays and neutrons is only 5 percent of the entire energy released.

In a neutron bomb, it is closer to 40 percent. In addition, the neutrons emitted by a neutron bomb have a much higher average energy level than those released during a fission reaction.

North Korea previously has threatened the U.S. with a nuclear attack, broadcasting dramatized videos of such attacks on the U.S. Capitol and the White House.

Pyongyang, through its KCNA website, also said it will continue developing nuclear weapons until the U.S. drops its “vicious, hostile” policy to isolate the Hermit Kingdom.

“The U.S. is a gang of cruel robbers which has worked hard to bring even a nuclear disaster to the DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea), not content with having imposed the thrice-cursed and unheard-of political isolation, economic blockade and military pressure on it for the mere reason that it has differing ideology and social system,” according to the KCNA statement.

“The present-day grim reality clearly proves once again the immutable truth that one’s destiny should be defended by one’s own efforts,” the statement added. “Nothing is more foolish than dropping a hunting gun before herds of ferocious wolves.”

ALERT: Saudi jets 'bomb Iranian embassy in Yemen'

Saudi jets have 'deliberately' bombed the Iranian embassy in Yemen in an air raid that wounded staff, Tehran has claimed today.

Warplanes struck the building as they pounded Yemen's capital Sanaa on Wednesday night, Iran claimed, as tensions with Saudi Arabia continued to mount.

Iran's foreign ministry spokesman described the strike as a 'deliberate action' and a 'violation of all international conventions that protect diplomatic missions'.

Saudi jets have 'deliberately' hit the Iranian embassy in Yemen in an air raid that wounded staff, Tehran has claimed today.

Hossein Jaber Ansari said: 'The Saudi government is responsible for the damage caused and for the situation of members of staff who were injured.'

The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen will investigate the accusation, according to the group'sn spokesman Brigadier General Ahmed Asseri said.

Coalition jets carried out heavy strikes in Sanaa on Wednesday night to target missile launchers used by the Houthi militia to fire at Saudi Arabia, he said, adding that the group has used civilian facilities including abandoned embassies.

The "Monsters" Unmasked: Cologne Police Admit "Most Of The Attackers Were Refugees"

This week, many German citizens were appalled to hear the details of what allegedly occurred on New Year’s Eve in Cologne.
According to eyewitness accounts and a number of apparent victims, hundreds of “Arab or North African” men engaged in coordinated sexual assaults and robberies across Germany with attacks reported in Cologne, Hamburg, and Stuttgart.
"These people that we welcomed just three months ago with teddy bears and water bottles ... started shooting at the cathedral dome and started shooting at police," one hotel bouncer who witnessed the melee in Cologne said. "Ms Merkel where are you? What do you say? This scares us!,” read a sign carried by protesters in demonstrations held on Tuesday.
While German officials universally decried the attacks, Cologne mayor Henriette Reker drew sharp criticism for suggesting that it was German women’s responsibility to keep would-be assailants at “arm’s length.” Reker dug herself an even deeper hole by saying Germany needed to better educate migrants on cultural norms. “We need to explain to people from other cultures that the jolly and frisky attitude during our Carnival is not a sign of sexual openness,” she said.
For her part, Angela Merkel is attempting to do the impossible: convince Germans that Berlin’s open-door refugee policy is a good idea while simultaneously explaining how intolerable the string of alleged attacks is.“Right now we’re seeing a very differentiated positioning among EU member states,” the Chancellor told reporters at meeting of her CSU Bavarian sister party. “It’s important to me that we have a noticeable reduction in refugee numbers, but at the same time preserve the freedom of movement within the European Union, which is an engine of economic development and prosperity -- and nobody is more reliant on it than Germany.”
Yes, we are indeed seeing “a very differentiated positioning” among states. Take Slovakia for instance, where Prime Minister Robert Fico says his government will not allow Muslims to create "a compact community." "We don't want what happened in Germany to happen here,” he said on Thursday. “The idea of multicultural Europe has failed. The migrants cannot be integrated, it's simply impossible."
On Thursday, Merkel sought to appease angry voters by encouraging Cologne police to be thorough in their investigation. "Chancellor Angela Merkel has called on Germany’s local authorities to ensure that public places remain safe for women following a mass sex attack in Cologne during New Year’s eve and mounting criticism of the government’s immigration policies," FT writes, adding that "her intervention came as the rightwing, immigration-sceptic AfD party capitalised on the outrage by blaming her liberal refugee policy for the assaults, which were allegedly carried out by men of Arab or North African appearance." This is the tweet (from AfD chief Frauke Petry) that FT references:

Embedded image permalink
"We want public streets and squares which are safe for men and women,”  Merkel said.
While previously there was some ambiguity with regard to who actually perpetrated the attacks, authorities are now sure that "most" of those involved were "freshly traveled asylum seekers." Here's Die Welt (translated):
The identity checks revealed Cologne police report continues: "Only a small minority Was it North Africans, the majority of Controlled by Syrians."

That had resulted from submitted documents. So far aimed guesses that it is the perpetrators were North African young men, because they are known as petty criminals problem group in Cologne for more than one year. But many of the Controlled talked only a few months in Germany. "Most of them were freshly traveled asylum seekers. They have presented documents that are handed out at the points of an asylum application." The receiving site then gives the applicant a copy of the application, with a copy of the photos.

The most controlled were Syrians. Crime Scene Investigation, it had gone mainly to "sexual entertainment".

In another point contradict New Year's Eve employed officials of the official representation. It is said that the offender had gone primarily is to steal from passersby. The sexual harassment were only incidentally happens. "In reality it behaved exactly the opposite," said Cologne police to "Welt am Sonntag"."Primarily it was the most Arab perpetrators to sexual offenses or, to put it from their point of view to their sexual amusement. A group of men circling a female victim, closes it and takes on the woman."
Yes, "only a small minority was it North Africans," so North Africans living in Germany are apparently off the hook here. Rather, reports supposedly indicate that large groups of "primarily Arab perpetrators" out for sexual entertainment "circled" the female victims, "closed" in and "took on" the women. A terrifying scene to be sure. Here's more:
Arnold Plickert, chairman of the police union (GdP) in North Rhine-Westphalia, defended in the "Welt am Sonntag", the Cologne police: "The allegations by Interior Minister de Maizière, many colleagues in Cologne feel completely unjustly attacked and pilloried . It is simply wrong that the police had at night anyone arrested or taken into custody. " And it also does not agree that any personal data had been taken, Plickert said. "According to my knowledge were at least 80 cases, Personal checks, arrested people or taken into custody."

Plickert also defended that Cologne policeman told journalists the truth expressed about the New Year's Eve: "That the colleagues now anonymous pierce information to the public, I can understand that you want to do away with the widespread misreporting and defend Some officials have I already told.. they felt as if they were the perpetrators. "

The GdP state leader went on to say: "Even that allegedly there is no evidence to refugees as perpetrators, I think is a hoax colleagues According to the registration certificates of the Federal Office for Migration were multiple controlled men submitted There were quite sure.. Refugees among the perpetrators."
What that seems to suggest is that there's an effort on the part of some authorities to cover up the involvement of migrants in the attacks, presumably to avoid triggering social unrest. Or, as we put it on Wednesday, "you'd be forgiven for suggesting that perhaps some German politicians are going out of their way to avoid applying negative stereotypes to migrants."
Be that as it may, something tells us the German media isn't about to let this be swept under the rug...

As the Dollar Collapses, Where Can You Safely Keep Your Money?

By James White               NorthWest Liberty News
America
Anyone reading this article who has reached the age of 35 can remember a better America. When I say better, I mean an America with respect and compassion; I mean an America that stood for freedom, liberty and a person’s individual rights; above all, I mean an America that once feared God and actually tried to keep His Commandments. That’s when America was great, and considered a “shining light” to the world. Sadly, those days are gone. But how did we fall so far as a nation, and how can we once again be great? These are the 2 basic questions that I will try to answer as I move along in this article.
Arguments still rage over the influence that Holy Scripture had in the creation of America and, specifically, the creation of the Constitution of the United States. For sake of this article, I will allow these arguments to rage without my involvement on the matter; for what I wish to impart greatly transcends the Constitution, or anything that any of our Founding Fathers have ever written. What I wish to impart comes from the Creator of ALL things, directly from His word.
Many reasons have been given for America’s decline, ranging from an overbearing deficit to illegal immigration; with about as many pundits as there are viewpoints. However, few really target the heart of the matter, and even fewer realize that the answer to why we have fallen, and how we can be great again, both originate from the same source…the Bible. Paradoxically, what we failed to obey is what got us into this mess, and what we need to obey is what will get us out. Let me go to the aforementioned Holy Scriptures to illustrate my point.
First, let us examine a few verses out of the book of Matthew 6 in the New Testament. Specifically, verses 30-34 (bold added by me):
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Please make note of the verse in bold as an illustration of just one of our many shortcomings as a nation. The Bible plainly states that we are to seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness. If we follow that command, all of our necessities will be met, as outlined in the remainder of the verse. However, do not lose the completeness of the promise as God states, “ALL these things shall be added unto you.” Sadly, we have turned away from this command as a nation; and, as a result, we have tens of millions of Americans who depend on the government as their provider.
Unfortunately, the refusal to depend on God is not the only area that we have failed as a civilization, and, more specifically, have failed as a nation. Again, we will visit the New Testament with Mark 12:29-31
29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
As you read the previous verses, you notice that it says to love God with all your being. But how does one show that they love God? Well, let’s go back once again to scripture for that answer; which can be found in John 14: 13-15, as outlined below:
13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
The answer is right there, but who heeds the wisdom of Scripture these days? I submit to you that there are a select few. For the majority, however, there is enough dust built up on the cover of their Bible to write the word Damnation with their finger. Let’s move to the second of the two great commandments. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. We, in this nation, have the ‘love thyself’ portion of Mark 12:31 down pat; but our disobedience is exposed when it comes to the “love thy neighbor” section of the text. In this present world, people are lovers of themselves and many despise their neighbors. How many people do you know who “look out for number 1” at all costs? These people do not fear God, and they represent one more area where we have failed as a nation.
With nothing more than a cursory review of Scripture, one can quickly find numerous instances where we, as a people, have failed miserably to meet God’s holy standard. What has basically happened in this nation is that we have taken God’s blessings for granted; and, amazingly, instead of praising Him for the unmerited favor that He has shown America-we have an entire nation who hates God. Figure that one out. To this point, I hope that I have provided enough evidence to convince you that we do have a disease. But, what of the cure?
Although we are unique individuals, our overall nature as human creatures has changed little over time. For that reason, God has provided a way out for us. It’s a way to escape the judgement which is the inevitable punishment for our insolence. Again, we need to go no farther than scripture to find the cure. This time, were going to go 2Chronicles 7:14 in the Old Testament:
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Has anyone ever noticed that the many “pearls of wisdom” contained within Scripture are not too difficult to interpret? Our Creator did this by design. Look at the verse I just quoted, for instance. The way to get back into God’s good graces is really simple. Humble yourself, pray, seeks God’s face and repent, or turn from your wicked ways. That seems like a plan that is easy to follow; but why are we not doing it? I will attempt to answer that question next week when I follow-up this article with one on the pathetic state of the modern pulpit.

In 2016, Petrus Romanus To Search Out GLOBAL POLITICAL PARTNER For International Agenda (Will They Become The False Prophet And Antichrist?)

Pope NWO
John Paul wanted to bring Eastern and Western Europe back together, hoping the East would revive the spiritually moribund West, only to watch Western consumerism and secularism triumph.

Likewise, Schiavazzi suggests Francis has helped reunify the Americas but he may be unhappy with the aftermath, as a conservative political wave away from his preferred brand of social democracy seems to be building in Latin America, including his native Argentina, and the United States could well be on the brink of electing Donald Trump.

Even if Hillary Clinton prevails in 2016, that’s not necessary a forecast for an era of good feelings. During the last Clinton administration, the Vatican and the White House fought titanic battles over population control and abortion during United Nations conferences in Cairo and Beijing. Who does that leave?

One option would be Vladimir Putin, recently crowned by Forbes as the most powerful person in the world, and Francis and the Russian leader have done business on several fronts. In September 2013 they aligned to resist calls for Western military intervention in Syria, and Putin’s pledge to defend persecuted Christians in the Middle East is something Francis values…
