Sinister Site... Astana

Ezekiel 38:2
Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him, (5) Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet: (6) Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.

Commentary

Two key players in the Ezekiel war Russia and Persia. Today Persia is called Iran. Now there is a very close relationship between Russia and Iran as Russia has built the Iranian nuclear reactor and provides its military hardware. I believe this friendship will form the foundation for the coming Ezekiel war.

Right now Iran is preparing for war with Israel. It appears in the coming Obadiah war that Iran is going to suffer a military defeat but not total destruction as are other Islamic nations. Iran's long range ability to attack Israel is destroyed but its field army remain. This field army joins with Russia in the later massive attack against Israel.

Last week Russia and Iran met in Kazakhstan to form a security alliance against the West. Once again, this shows the closeness of these countries. What is very interesting is they met in the city of Astana which is the capital of Kazakhstan. This country was part of the former Soviet Union. It might be part of the attack on Israel!
I had no knowledge of Astana, but a viewer of the blog sent me information which was mind boggling! This is a brand new city built with oil money. It was built with an occult background! It is a New Age city in its design! The president of this country built this city to help all the religions of the world come together. It is right out of Revelation 17 where the world-wide religious whore of Babylon is found. This is where Russia, Iran and other countries just met!

I believe that during the coming Obadiah war that God is going to destroy Islam. There will be a revival for the LORD and also to the New Age. The New Age paganism will be the religion of the last days. It appears that Astana could play a major part in this paganism. Paganism might be the force behind Russia and Iran when they attack Israel and are subsequently destroyed in Ezekiel 38,39

Iran's president calls for post-Soviet security alliance to unite in alliance against West 06/15/11 "ASTANA, Kazakhstan - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called Wednesday for a security alliance of several former Soviet nations and China to form a united front against the West. Ahmadinejad's address to fellow heads of state at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Kazakhstan will likely deepen suspicions that the bloc is intended as a counterweight to the United States across the region."
The Pyramid Where World Religions Meet
Sinister Sites – Astana, Khazakh "Astana is the first capital being built in the 21st century and it perfectly represents  where the world is headed. It is truly one man’s vision: Nursultan Nazarbayev, the president of Kazakhstan. Backed by billions of petrodollars, the city is being built from scratch in a remote and deserted area of  the Asian steppes. The result is astonishing: a futuristic occult capital, embracing the New World Order while celebrating the most ancient religion known to man: Sun Worship. The city is still a huge construction site, but the buildings that are already completed already sum up Nazarbayev’s occult vision."

Germany detects first human-to-human E. coli transmission

Mat 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.

And there will be famines, pestilences, [fn] and earthquakes in various places.
Mat 24:8 "All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.

Germany has detected the first case of human-to-human transmission of the deadly E. coli bacteria strain. According to the country's health officials, a female kitchen worker of a catering company near Frankfurt was infected with the strain after eating sprouts. She later transmitted the bacteria to 20 people through food she prepared for them.

German officials claimed they have an evidence which shows that a human passed on the bacteria to the vegetables, which subsequently spread to other humans.

The bacteria has also been found in a river in the Frankfurt region. Officials said there was no need to worry as it did not pose any threat to the area's drinking water supply. However, they cautioned people to refrain from using the river water to wash fruit and vegetables.

The E. Coli outbreak, which began in May, has so far claimed 40 lives.

Israeli leaders test nuclear bunker in defence drill

Israeli leaders test nuclear bunker in defence drill

By Dan Williams
JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli leaders holed up in a new underground nuclear bunker on Wednesday as part of annual manoeuvres to prepare for a possible missile war with Iran, Syria and their Lebanese and Palestinian guerrilla allies.

Officials said it was the first time the security cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, had tested the "National Management Centre" carved out beneath the government complex in Jerusalem over the past decade.

The bunker includes living quarters as well as command facilities. It can be accessed through the western foothills leading to the coastal metropolis of Tel Aviv.

"This is the proper place from which to run the State of Israel in wartime," Homefront Defence Minister Matan Vilnai told Army Radio in an interview.

Israel instituted increasingly sweeping civil defence drills after the 2006 Lebanon war in which Hezbollah fighters fired thousands of short-range rockets at its northern towns.

There have been similar salvoes from Hamas and other Palestinian factions in the Gaza Strip to the south, and Israeli officials say a future war could involve non-conventional missile strikes by Syria and Iran.

Wednesday's exercise, dubbed "Turning Point 5," envisaged heavy shelling and thousands of dead and wounded on several Israeli fronts. Police and medics practised mass-casualty incidents and air raid sirens were scheduled to sound twice.

"It is certainly an extreme scenario (although) we assume that our enemies would not dare to operate this way, given our deterrent power," Vilnai said.

Reputed to have the Middle East's only atomic arsenal, Israel bombed an Iraqi reactor in 1981 under what it called a policy of denying foes the means to threaten its destruction.

Israel launched a similar sortie against Syria in 2007 but its veiled threats to tackle Iran's remote and fortified uranium enrichment sites have often been dismissed as bluster given the tactical challenges involved. World powers say they prefer a negotiated resolution with Iran, which denies seeking the bomb.

Disclosures of the Jerusalem bunker's existence prompted some Israelis to question whether their country, which has also been developing an elaborate ballistic missile shield, was taking a more passive approach to potential nuclear threats.

Officials say that providing Israeli leaders with a secret haven from which to respond to attacks would in itself discourage, or at least contain, any future war.

American micro-drones as small as a humming bird

US trial bird-sized spy drones

American military engineers are developing a new generation of aerial micro-drones, shrinking the unmanned aircraft to the size of insects and birds.

Developers at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio have produced dozens of prototypes that would not look out of place in a James Bond movie, based on the flight mechanics of birds, moths and dragonflies.

The Pentagon has rapidly increased its use of drones in the past two years to gather intelligence and launch missiles from the skies over Pakistan and Afghanistan. Supporters claim they have weakened al-Qaeda and reduced the chances of US casualties.

Major Michael Anderson, a doctoral student at the base's advanced navigation technology centre, who is developing wings based on those of the hawk moth, said: "It's impressive what they can do compared to what our clumsy aircraft can do."

Today's drones, such as the Predator and Reaper, are the size of light aircraft and piloted by remote control.

The next generation will be autonomous, flying themselves and programmed to search out targets, nuclear weapons or even spot survivors of natural disasters.

Last month it emerged that the CIA gathered intelligence on Osama bin Laden's Pakistani hideaway using one of its new stealth drones, the RQ-170 Sentinel, or the "Beast of Kandahar, after the runway where it was first seen.

And the pace of development is only expected to increase.

The Pentagon has asked Congress for nearly $5 billion for drones next year.

Much of the research is focused on developing "flapping wing" technology, copying the way the muscles of an insect keep it aloft and allowing the drone to hover.

That brings an obvious advantage, said Greg Parker, an aerospace engineer at the base's test centre, known as the "microaviary" – camouflage.

"We're looking at how you hide in plain sight," he said.

Not one penny more: Cameron vows he won't let British taxpayers' money be spent on another Greek bailout

Greek bailout: Charts the planned quarterly EU/IMF bailout payments to Greece by date from 2010 to 2013
'Thank God' Britain stayed out of the euro, says Prime Minister
Jack Straw predicts the death of the single currency
Treasury officials warn British banks will lose £8billion if Greece goes under
Parliamentary 'no confidence' vote expected for Greek PM today
World markets rise following eurozone ultimatum to Greece

David Cameron today spelled out his determination to stop taxpayers’ money being used to bail out Greece.

He used forthright language to describe his attitude towards the bailed-out economy costing Europe a fortune at his weekly Downing Street press conference.

'We were not involved in the first bailout of Greece, we don't believe the European financial mechanism should be used in any way,' Mr Cameron said.

He told business leaders the UK had no obligation to help Greece other than through the International Monetary Fund because Britain had, ‘thank God’, stayed out of the euro.

The Prime Minister said he would make his position clear later this week at a summit for the 27 European Union leaders – a meeting which will be dominated by the debt crisis.

His comments came as eurozone finance ministers gave Greece two weeks to approve stricter austerity measures before they are prepared to sign off a second emergency loan of £11billion.

World stocks and the euro rose from last week's three-week lows today following the eurozone ultimatum.

Investors are awaiting a parliamentary confidence vote for Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou, a step towards the passage of more spending cuts in exchange for foreign loans.

World stocks are down nearly 8 per cent from their three-year high set in May as investors grew worried disorderly restructuring of Greek debt would cause ructions in the market and hit the region's banking sector.

Fitch sees risk of Greece, U.S. debt defaults

Boiling over: A protester throws a table at a fire in Athens' central Syntagma Square during clashes yesterday
(Reuters) - Fitch Ratings said on Tuesday that it would regard a voluntary rollover of Greece's sovereign bond maturities as a default and would cut the credit rating appropriately, keeping pressure on Athens ahead of a confidence vote in parliament.

The definitive comments weighed on the euro and underscored how much is at stake for Greece, which is struggling to implement a deeply unpopular fiscal austerity plan necessary to win the next tranche of emergency aid from the European Union and International Monetary Fund.

Fractious euro zone finance ministers are trying to patch together a second aid package for Greece, with more official loans and, for the first time, some sort of contribution by private investors who hold Greek government bonds.

"Fitch would regard such a debt exchange or voluntary debt rollover as a default event and would lead to the assignment of a default rating to Greece," Andrew Colquhoun, head of Asia-Pacific sovereign ratings with Fitch, said at a conference in Singapore.

A month ago Fitch downgraded Greece's credit rating three notches to "B+" and warned it could cut the rating further into junk territory. At the time, the rating agency said an extension of the maturity of existing bonds would be considered a default.

Standard & Poor's cut Greece's rating to "CCC" from "B" on June 13, and warned that any attempt to restructure the country's debt would be considered a default.

Moody's has a Caa1 rating to Greece's sovereign debt, which implies a 50 percent chance of a default within three to five years.

Fitch's Colquhoun also reiterated that the rating agency would place the U.S. sovereign rating on watch negative if Congress did not raise the federal government's borrowing ceiling by August 2, and said if the U.S. government misses an August 15 coupon payment, then Fitch would place the rating on restricted default.

Fitch had made similar comments earlier this month and Moody's and S&P have issued warnings along the same lines. But Fitch was the first major ratings agency to say U.S. Treasury securities could be downgraded, even for a short period.

Greek government survives confidence vote

An old drachma note and a euro note
The Greek government has won a critical vote of confidence in parliament as it struggles to win support for extra austerity measures and avoid a default.

Prime Minister George Papandreou's new cabinet was approved by 155 votes to 143, with two abstentions.

MPs will now be asked to approve 28bn euros (£25bn) of cuts, tax rises, fiscal reforms and privatisation plans.

Eurozone ministers say the legislation must be passed to receive a 12bn-euro loan Greece needs to pay its debts.

Earlier, thousands of people gathered outside the parliament building in Athens to protest against both the austerity measures and politicians in general. Many chanted: "Thieves! Thieves!"

"I believe we should go bankrupt and get it over with. These measures are slowly killing us," Efi Koloverou, a 22-year-old student, told the Reuters news agency. "We want competent people to take over."

Mr Papandreou reshuffled his cabinet and replaced his finance minister last week after weeks of demonstrations against his handling of the crisis.
