Muslims Take Thirty Christians, And Brutally Butcher All Of Them

By Theodore Shoebat
Fulani Muslims in Taraba State, Nigeria, took thirty Christians and brutally butchered all of them. As one report says:
The Christian Reformed Church, Nigeria, has raised the alarm over reported killing of no fewer than 30 Christians by Hausa-Fulani Muslims in some parts of Taraba State, despite the ceasefire agreement which was said to have been declared by the Federal Government and members of the Boko Haram Islamic sect.
Among the persons killed during the attack which took place on Sunday were the Pastor of the Sondi Church and his only male child.
Another Pastor, Nuhu Useni, was also killed by the Hausa-Fulani on his way to his farm.
The President of CRC-N, Rev. Caleb Ahima, in a Save Our Soul message to the President of Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor from Takum, Taraba State State and obtained by journalists on Monday in Abuja said time has come for CAN “to let the Federal Government wade in to the bloodshed in Southern Taraba.”
According to him, the number of casualties were high because “security tips seemed not to have been responded to by the security agents as expected.”
He said, “I wish to inform the National President of CAN about the carnage and genocide by islamic insurgents of the Hausa-Fulani insurgents in the Wukari LGA, beginning from February 2014
“Sunday, October 19, 2014, the predominantly Christian Southern part of the State, precisely the Wukari LGA, has been attacked again. The villages of Gindin Waya and Sondi were attacked in the morning of the Day of the Lord on which Christians gather to worship the Lord.
“This is the third time that the Muslims have attacked Christians on Sunday. The attack of today (Sunday) led to the death of four persons in Gindin Waya, and 27 persons in Sondi. Among the dead are the Pastor of the Sondi Church and his only male child. The huge army of insurgents that attacked Sondi had many of the insurgents in army uniform. What is happening in Nigeria?
“Reports reaching the headquarters of the CRC-N Church in Takum, Southern Taraba State, say that another Pastor, Nuhu Useni, was killed by the Hausa-Fulani as he went to see his farm. His dead body will also be brought to Wukari the capital of the LGA tomorrow for burial.”
Ahima said when he contacted the Chairman of CAN in Wukari “he confirmed all that is stated above. Besides, he also informed me that Sunday’s attacks and destruction of human lives and properties seemed to have reached the extent as witnessed today Sunday because security tips seemed not to have been responded to by the security agents as expected.”
The Cleric alleged that Taraba State government seems to have interest in these killings and displacement of people.
He said, “I am appealing to the National President of CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, to let the Federal Government wade into the bloodshed in Southern Taraba. The Hausa-Fulani North seems determined to wipe Southern Taraba off the map of this country. What is happening? How come that one LGA has been attacked seven times now and it seems as if the country has no good security intelligence gathering network, or that security reports are not being used?”

Russia Deploys Troops, Robots Along Entire "2nd Middle East" Arctic Belt

On the heels of Sweden's military deployment (following the discovery of a damaged Russian sub), it appears Russia is taking no chances with its access to Arctic resources. As Reuters reports, the Russian defense minister announced today that Russian military units will be deployed along the entire Arctic border from Murmansk to Chukotka in 2014.

Interfax adds that combat robots are also being deployed to protect Russian oil and gas infrastructure in the harsh environment of the Arctic. This should be no surprise as The Guardian notes, the Arctic’s hydrocarbon resources nevertheless exert a powerful pull. It has been compared to "a second Middle East", with oil and gas reserves thought to represent 17% and 30%, respectively, of the global total.

This of course, is nothing new...
On 11 October, in an attempt to forestall such criticism, the Russian defence ministry announced plans to build “a regional environmental centre [...] to prevent pollution in areas where Russian forces are deployed”. Russian troops systematically receive “training and briefings on environmental safety and compliance with legislation”, deputy minister Dmitry Bulgakov added. But it will take more than this to reassure the western powers.
But is a major escalation along such a massive border...

And finally, Interfax reports, Combat robots to protect Russian oil and gas infrastructure in Arctic
Undersea combat robots will be protecting Russian oilrigs and transportation networks in the Arctic region at some point, Deputy General Director of the Russian Foundation for Advanced Research Projects, Chairman of the Foundation's Scientific and Technological Board Vitaly Davydov told Interfax-AVN.

"The Foundation is not designing robotic sharks but it is working on undersea robots and autonomous gadgets capable of protecting infrastructure, controlling the waters and detecting, tracking and, if necessary, destroying a potential enemy. The prospective machinery may be deployed on the sea bottom and specialized submersibles," he said.

So far, the Foundation is focused not so much on defense issues as on mineral development projects, Davydov said.

"The rivalry in this region will be centered on its natural resources. A key task to be solved in the Arctic is access to mineral resources, first and foremost, hydrocarbons. This goal can be achieved through the completion of numerous tasks in the discovery, production and transportation of resources, sub-glacial operations and infrastructural security. This is the target of the Foundation's research programs," he said.

As The Guardian concludes, The Arctic, which is governed by international maritime law, is also the focus of other disputes. Canada regularly carries out military exercises in its Arctic territory. Relations between Ottawa and Moscow have cooled significantly since the start of the Ukraine crisis.

During US Ebola Hysteria, What Other News Did We Miss?

obama-ebola
Wil Brown | TheAntiMedia
Concerns over Ebola spreading in the United States have been on everyone’s mind during the past week. This has largely been fueled by the fact that the entirety of the corporate media coverage has been consumed by this story. With new scientific evidence supportingthat Ebolamay, in fact, be able to travel through the air, there is definitely reason to keep our eyes on it; but what have we missed in other news while our minds were elsewhere?
The intention of this writing isn’t to make light of the Ebola situation but rather to shift much of our attention to topics that effect millions of people that we have the potential to change. As mentioned above, Ebola traveling through the air is definitely a concern. However, it is beneficial to bring some perspective into the discussion.
So far, Ebola has only infected 2 people inside of the United States. Both of whom are still alive. At the same time, the United States’ recent foreign policy is responsible for the death oftens of thousands of innocent people. It’s one thing to stay up to date on the developments of a story but obsessing over it helps no one.
Here are some of the stories that received little to no mention by the main-stream media during the Ebola hysteria:

The ISIS situation continues to worsen

With reports of ISIS on the verge of taking the third-largest military base in Iraq, it is becoming more evident that the Iraq Security Forces are offering very little resistance lately in this fight on it’s own. This may may be due to the fact that the US’ role in the conflict is hindering the region from finding it’s own solution.

On the topic of US intervention against ISIS

“U.S.-led coalition jets pounded suspected Islamic State targets at least six times in the besieged Syrian town of Kobani on Saturday after the fiercest shelling in days by the insurgents shook the town’s center and hit border areas within Turkey.”
It is further reported that the fears of anti-war activists everywhere have been realized.US Airstrikes may have been responsible for the deaths of at least ten civilians.
This is no surprise to those that have been following the US drone strikes in Pakistan which, at the end of last year, were responsible for the deaths of at least 500 civilians.
The United States continues to rally support for terror groups such as ISIS with their continued murder of innocent civilians whose families will no doubt want to see justice done to those responsible.
Many believe that without US intervention against ISIS, their numbers wouldn’t be near what they are at this point in the conflict. As this conflict continues, this is an aspect that needs to be focused on but likely wont due to biased corporate reporting.

Ukraine teeters on being classified as a “failed state”

Many experts and analysts agree that there is a possible solution in Ukraine involving Russian intervention but there exists little agreement as to what that intervention will look like.
The role of US intervention should not be overlooked either.
There is an obvious anti-Russia sentiment in Ukraine but on the other hand, there is a strong pro-Russia contingent that seems to be completely ignored by western media. It is clear that the US has certainly not helped the situation and further involvement on their behalf would only intensify the division in Ukraine.
There is evidence to suggest that Russia can indeed come to diplomatic agreements with the Ukrainian government. With the US out of the picture, this trend could very wellcontinue.
The situation in Ukraine has many layers that are very easy to get lost in. More info on the events unfolding in this region can be found here.

The fight against US spying continues

The FBI and other government agencies seem quite intent on pushing forward with spyprograms that target American citizens.
and recently
“The FBI director has slammed Apple and Google for offering their customers encryption technology that protects users’ privacy. ‘Deeply concerned’ James Comey wants to push on Congress to “fix” laws to ensure police can still access private data.”
While Comey maintains that this access to private customer data wouldn’t be violated without proper probable cause and the accompanying warrants, the US government track record proves otherwise.

China overtakes the US in economic power

China has overtaken the United State to become the world’s largest economy, according to new data and an analysis by the International Monetary Fund.
Calculated by looking at gross domestic product (GDP) alongside cost-of-living data, the IMF announced Tuesday that China is now larger economically than the U.S. for the first time in history with an adjusted GDP of $17.6 trillion compared to a U.S. GDP of $17.4 trillion.
In summation, our media has proven that they can no longer be trusted as the sole source of information to the American public.
As a good rule of thumb moving forward, when the US media takes a story and runs with it, it’s wise to dig around and see what’s being hidden in the other hand.

Obama Humiliated Again After Weapons Airdropped For Syrian Rebels End Up In ISIS Hands

While we strongly suspect few are truly surprised by this turn of events, it is still yet another embarrassing stamp in the "do nothing stupid" foreign policy passport for President Obama's administration. As The Daily Beast reports,an ISIS-associated YouTube account posted a new video online Tuesday entitled, "Weapons and munitions dropped by American planes and landed in the areas controlled by the Islamic State in Kobani."
While the authenticity of this latest video could not be independently confirmed, there is no doubt that the ISIS fighters in the clip are in possession of a rich bounty of American hand grenades, rounds for small rockets, and other supplies. The White House stated on CNN, "we feel very confident that, when we air drop support as we did into Kobani… we’ve been able to hit the target in terms of reaching the people we want to reach." Perhaps not all of them...
Pentagon spokesman Rear Admiral John Kriby confirms the latest embarrassment for the administration:
  • KIRBY SAYS WEAPONS IN VIDEO ARE OF TYPE THAT U.S. DROPPED
  • KIRBY SAYS KOBANI REMAINS A `MIXED, CONTESTED ENVIRONMENT'
