The Passover Moon and The Fullness Of Time

From my house tonight at dust the Passover moon arose in the east and what a beautiful sight it truly was! It was on a night like this almost 2000 years ago that the Messiah looked in the sky and saw this same moon in its fullness and brightness. The Messiah at this moment was fully aware what awaited Him (Isa. 53, Dan. 9:26, Matt. 20:17-20) and as the fullness of the Passover moon it was now the fullness of time to be the Passover Lamb for the transgressions of the whole world (Isa. 53, John 1:29, Rom. 3:23-26, 1 Cor. 5:7, Heb. 10:5-12, 1 Peter 1:19, 1 John 4:10).

The Messiah at this moment was fully aware what awaited Him and as the fullness of the Passover moon it was now the fullness of time to be the Passover lamb for the transgressions of the whole world.

Passover starts at sundown and always falls on the same date in the Jewish calendar for this Day is based on a lunar calendar. The Jewish calendar is set up to keep Jewish Feast Days at the same season of the year and the same phase of the moon; Passover will always begin on a full moon in the spring.

This Passover may Almighty God open your hearts and minds to the wondrous TRUTHS of the fulfillment of the Passover, Good Wednesday (the day Messiah's of Crucifixion) and Resurrection Sunday. At this Feast Day may you see Jesus (salvation) Messiah, the Savior of the world as you never saw Him before! The key to understanding the Holy Scriptures is to allow the Holy Spirit to show you them through the Jewish eyes and perspective which is based on Biblical truth (Isa. 53, Dan. 9:26, Luke 24:24-27, John 1:29, 5:39,14:26, 15:26, 16:13, Heb. 10:5-12).

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!

Russian Air Force to Receive 16 New MiG Fighters

MiG-29 SMT fighter

The Russian Defense Ministry has signed a $470 million contract with the MiG corporation for the delivery of 16 advanced MiG-29 SMT fighters, the ministry said Tuesday.

The company had earlier confirmed the deal in an interview with RIA Novosti, but did not specify its value.

"The value of the contract, including the ground support and test equipment, is more than 17 billion rubles. The contract is a strategic measure for maintaining the combat readiness of the lightweight fighter fleet," the Defense Ministry said in the statement.

As of last year, the Russian Air Force had 28 of the fighters, a single-seat upgraded version of the MiG-29 SM fighter capable of using smart air-to-surface weapons.

The MiG-29 SMT, developed in the first half of the 2000s, features add-on fuselage fuel tanks for extended range, special radar-absorbing paint, and can be outfitted with supersonic and anti-ship missiles. The plane can perform ‘blind’ bombing runs at night, as well as reconnaissance missions.

The Defense Ministry also plans to sign a contract for the delivery of 4++ generation MiG-35S fighters after 2016, with about 100 to be built in the near future, a spokesman for the ministry told reporters Tuesday.

The move will help optimize the ratio of light and heavy fighters in the Russian Air Force, the ministry said.

FBI to have 52 million photos in its NGI face recognition database by next year

The EFF
Jennifer Lynch is a senior staff attorney with the Electronic Frontier Foundation and works on open government, transparency and privacy issues, including drones, automatic license plate readers and facial recognition.

New documents released by the FBI show that the Bureau is well on its way toward its goal of a fully operational face recognition database by this summer.

The EFF received these records in response to our Freedom of Information Act lawsuit for information on Next Generation Identification (NGI)—the FBI’s massive biometric database that may hold records on as much as one-third of the US population. The facial recognition component of this database poses real threats to privacy for all Americans.
WHAT IS NGI?

NGI builds on the FBI’s legacy fingerprint database—which already contains well over 100 million individual records—and has been designed to include multiple forms of biometric data, including palm prints and iris scans in addition to fingerprints and face recognition data. NGI combines all these forms of data in each individual’s file, linking them to personal and biographic data like name, home address, ID number, immigration status, age, race, etc. This immense database is shared with other federal agencies and with the approximately 18,000 tribal, state, and local law enforcement agencies across the United States.

The records we received show that the face recognition component of NGI may include as many as 52 million face images by 2015. By 2012, NGI already contained 13.6 million images representing between 7 and 8 million individuals, and by the middle of 2013, the size of the database increased to 16 million images. The new records reveal that the database will be capable of processing 55,000 direct photo enrollments daily and of conducting tens of thousands of searches every day.
NGI WILL INCLUDE NON-CRIMINAL AS WELL AS CRIMINAL PHOTOS

One of our biggest concerns about NGI has been the fact that it will include non-criminal as well as criminal face images. We now know that FBI projects that by 2015, the database will include 4.3 million images taken for non-criminal purposes.

Currently, if you apply for any type of job that requires fingerprinting or a background check, your prints are sent to and stored by the FBI in its civil print database. However, the FBI has never before collected a photograph along with those prints. This is changing with NGI. Now an employer could require you to provide a “mug shot” photo along with your fingerprints. If that’s the case, then the FBI will store both your face print and your fingerprints along with your biographic data.

In the past, the FBI has never linked the criminal and non-criminal fingerprint databases. This has meant that any search of the criminal print database (such as to identify a suspect or a latent print at a crime scene) would not touch the non-criminal database. This will also change with NGI. Now, every record—whether criminal or non—will have a “Universal Control Number” (UCN), and every search will be run against all records in the database. This means that even if you have never been arrested for a crime, if your employer requires you to submit a photo as part of your background check, your face image could be searched—and you could be implicated as a criminal suspect—just by virtue of having that image in the non-criminal file.

UK probes claims of Islamist plot to take over state-funded schools

Britain on Tuesday sent in a former counter-terror chief to investigate claims of an Islamist plot to take over schools in the second city of Birmingham.

The education ministry appointed Peter Clarke, who headed the police investigation into the July 7, 2005 London bombings, to conduct a probe into the allegations.

The former head of Scotland Yard’s Counter Terrorism Command will “analyze evidence of extremist infiltration” in Birmingham schools, the ministry said.

However, the appointment drew immediate criticism from the local police chief, who said people would inevitably draw “unwarranted conclusions.”

Concerns about how some schools in the central English city were being run first emerged last year in a leaked anonymous letter which outlined how to implement what it called Operation Trojan Horse — the takeover of schools by hardline Muslims.

The letter, which credited the operation with forcing a change of leadership at four schools, gave instructions on ousting and replacing uncooperative head teachers and school governors.

“I am extremely concerned by the allegations made in connection to a number of schools in Birmingham,” said Education Secretary Michael Gove.

“These allegations need either to be substantiated and firm action taken, or to be shown to be baseless.

“Peter Clarke brings a wealth of relevant skills and experience, and is very well placed to lead a fair and thorough assessment of the evidence.

“No pupils should be exposed to extremist views or radicalization while at school.”

Gove has already sent inspectors to 15 schools, while Birmingham City Council is investigating 25, having received more than 200 complaints.

Since the letter emerged, whistleblowers including former staff have come forward, making claims that boys and girls were segregated in classrooms and assemblies, sex education was banned and non-Muslim staff were bullied.

Birmingham has a large Muslim community. Some 22 percent of the city’s 1.1 million residents identified themselves as such in the 2011 census.

The move to appoint Clarke was blasted by local police officials.

“This is a desperately unfortunate appointment,” said West Midlands Chief Constable Chris Sims.

“Peter Clarke has many qualities but people will inevitably draw unwarranted conclusions from his former role as national coordinator for counter-terrorism.”

Bob Jones, the elected police and crime commissioner overseeing the West Midlands force, said: “This appointment gives the clear impression that the issues around Trojan Horse are predominantly around counter-terrorism issues.”

Clarke “lacks the relevant experience in educational governance issues that are key to this investigation,” he said.

The allegations focus on a category of schools known as academies. Established from 2000 onwards, they are state-funded but are self-governing and independent of local authority control.

'BLOOD MOONS' MESSAGE: LISTEN TO GOD

The pastor whose book, “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” explains the biblical links between cosmic phenomena such as eclipses and events on Earth says he’s not sure what will happen in connection to the current series of lunar alignments.

Maybe nothing.

But people need to be watching and listening to God, Pastor Mark Biltz urges.

In an interview with the Fox News Channel’s Lauren Green, he discussed the surge of interest in the “blood moons,” a series of total lunar eclipses that starts early Tuesday morning, as Passover 2014 begins, and continues in the fall of 2014, on the Feast of Tabernacles, and then in 2015 on the same two Jewish high holy days.

April 15 this year is Passover. Oct. 8 will be the Feast of Tabernacles. In 2015, the eclipses also are on Passover, April 4, and Feast of Tabernacles, Sept. 28.

“We are on the verge of witnessing something historic,” Biltz, who discovered the blood moons phenomenon in 2007, has said. “This has happened only eight times over the last 2,000 years! And the last two times these occurred on the Jewish holidays there was a war in the Middle East regarding the nation of Israel. These are patterns and historical facts that cannot be disregarded. The Jewish Talmud records that total lunar eclipses are indicators or omens for the nation of Israel.”

In the Fox News interview, Biltz said the Bible itself links major events to the lunar eclipses. In Genesis, it explains God’s creation of and use of those events.

“We need to be watching when those events happen,” he said.

Over the last few millennia, there have been 62 tetrads, the series of four lunar eclipses, but only eight times have they occurred on biblical holidays, he explained,

In 1967, it happened as Israel captured Jerusalem. And in the 1940s it was when the state of Israel was born. In the late 1400s, it was during the Spanish Inquisition – all events that had significant impact on the Jewish people.

The last of the four eclipses, late in 2015, will be seen in Jerusalem and also will be a “supermoon,” or a sighting of the moon when it is at its closest point to earth, he said.

The Old Testament prophet Joel, Biltz noted, talked about the moon turning to blood in connection with God judging nations that are trying to divide the land of Israel.

“I don’t think it is the end of the world at all,” Biltz said. “I do believe this is signaling.”

Reporting on the first of the coming full lunar eclipses, which will occur early Tuesday morning for most of the United States, one host said: “So it’s a little eerie. There’s a lot of speculation around it. It happens after 3 a.m. Eastern Time this morning. It will be cloudy on the East Coast, so may the world doesn’t end for us. But in the middle of the country, it is going to be.”

Another host said: “That’s the only thing I obtained from that piece, that the world may end tonight.”

A New York Daily News report interviewed Texas Cornerstone Church founder Pastor John Hagee.

He has written “Four Blood Moons,” warning he belieives the celestial signs are evidence of a future “world-shaking event.”

In the report, he pointrd to Acts 2:19-20, which says: “And I will show wonders in Heaven above and signs in the Earth beneath, the sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.”

While NASA predicts there will be several tetrads in the 21st century, North Americans will have the best view of the first, beginning early Tuesday.

“The most unique thing about the 2014-2015 tetrad is that all of them are visible for all or parts of the USA,” NASA eclipse expert Fred Espenak told CNN.

Biltz said the convergence with biblical holy days is special.

Biltz discovered what has become the “blood moon phenomenon” back in 2007, researching the correlation between when blood moons fell on feast days and key historical world events. He found the divine link between prophecy, heavenly signs, historical events and when they intersect.

“Blood Moons” was released nationwide March 18, and has consistently been one of the top books sold on Amazon.com. A full-length documentary produced by WND Films and featuring Biltz was also released the same day.

Biltz said that to understand the meaning, it’s important to know the seasons, feasts and calendar of the Lord.

Biltz, founder of El Shaddai Ministries, is a well-known commentator on the feasts of the Lord who has spoken in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, Canada and throughout the United States.

When he appeared on “The Jim Bakker Show,” host Jim Bakker called Biltz’ work “the most important book of the times.”

Biltz spent two-days recording interviews with Lori and Jim Bakker at their Christian retreat in Branson, Mo.

Bakker said the broadcasts would tell “the definitive story of the impending blood moons by the man who discovered the astronomical relationship behind the prophecy, heavenly signs and when they intersect.”

And here’s a map of the regions of the U.S. that could have the best view:

The broken US Postal Service Joins in Federal Ammo Purchases

Add the U.S. Postal Service to the list of federal agencies seeking to purchase what some Second Amendment activists say are alarmingly large quantities of ammunition.

Earlier this year, the USPS posted a notice on its website, under the heading "Assorted Small Arms Ammunition," that says: "The United States Postal Service intends to solicit proposals for assorted small arms ammunition. If your organization wishes to participate, you must pre-register. This message is only a notification of our intent to solicit proposals."

Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Washington-based Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, said: "We're seeing a highly unusual amount of ammunition being bought by the federal agencies over a fairly short period of time. To be honest, I don't understand why the federal government is buying so much at this time."

Jake McGuigan, director of state affairs and government relations for the National Shooting Sports Foundation, said widely reported federal ammunition purchases have sparked conspiracy-type fears among gun owners, who worry that the federal government is trying to crack down on Second Amendment rights via the back door by limiting the ammo available to owners.

It's not just the USPS that is stocking up on ammo.

A little more than a year ago, the Social Security Administration put in a request for 174,000 rounds of ".357 Sig 125 grain bonded jacketed hollow-point" bullets.

Before that, it was the Department of Agriculture requesting 320,000 rounds. More recently, the Department of Homeland Security raised eyebrows with its request for 450 million rounds — at about the same time the FBI separately sought 100 million hollow-point rounds.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration also requested 46,000 rounds.

Philip Van Cleave, president of the Virginia Citizens Defense League, asked: why exactly does a weather service need ammunition?

"NOAA — really? They have a need? One just doesn't know why they're doing this," he said. "The problem is, all these agencies have their own SWAT teams, their own police departments, which is crazy. In theory, it was supposed to be the U.S. marshals that was the armed branch for the federal government."

Armed federal employees are often assigned to offices of investigative services, the offices of inspectors general, or other equally bureaucratic agencies.

For instance, regular Internal Revenue Service agents aren't equipped with on-the-job guns — but those affiliated with the agency's Criminal Investigations Division are.

The same goes for workers with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, with the Department of Agriculture's Office of Inspector General, and with the Department of Education's Office of Inspector General.

The Energy Department, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Commerce Department, and the U.S. Agency for International Development are a few of the federal entities that boast an armed division, tasked with investigating fraud and suspected criminal activities. As such, the agents get to carry guns.

"Most of these agencies do have their own police forces," said Jim Wallace, executive director of the Massachusetts-based Gun Owners' Action League.

That, perhaps more than federal ammunition purchases, is the larger issue, he suggested, and Van Cleave agreed.

"What's the need for that? Do we really need this? That was something our Founding Fathers did not like and we should all be concerned about," Van Cleave said, speaking of the expansion of police forces throughout all levels of government.

The Department of Homeland Security employs in its various law enforcement entities — from the Coast Guard to the Secret Service to Customs and Border Protection — more than 200,000 workers, an estimated 135,000 of whom are authorized to carry weapons. When the agency makes its ammo buys, it often does so over the course of several years.

"We realize that the House is still investigating the ammo purchases by the administration, but from what we've seen so far, most representatives don't seem alarmed," said Erich Pratt, communications director for Gun Owners of America.

"For example, [Georgia Republican] Rep. Lynn Westmoreland said that given all the agencies that the Department of Homeland Security purchases for, "450 million rounds really is not that large of an order," Pratt said.

McGuigan acknowledged that there was a scarcity of ammo but attributed it more to a rise in purchases by individuals.

The Obama administration's stated desire to scale back gun rights drove more in the private sector to purchase firearms — which in turn fueled ammunition sales, McGuigan said.

"Over the last few years, there's been a tremendous increase in gun ownership, [with] many more females," McGuigan said. "I think a lot of people need to be aware of what's happening, and what the federal agencies are doing. I don't think, though, they need to be overly concerned that there's not going to be any ammo left."

But the notion of the Obama administration's using backdoor means to scale back gun ownership — a move that's hardly been kept secret — doesn't seem that outlandish to some.

"I don't believe in conspiracy theories, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense," Gottlieb said. "The amount of ammunition they're buying up far exceeds their needs. It far exceeds what they'll use — they'll never use it all."

Kiev military storms occupied East Ukraine airfield, wounded reported

Unidentified Fighter Jets Open Fire On Kramatorsk Airfield, Casualties Reported

Things in east Ukraine have spiraled out of control. Moments ago Itar Tass reported that there has been a shoot out at the separatists-controlled airport in the city of Kramatorsk where according to on the ground witnesses,  four Su-27 fighter jets have allegedly opened fire at the local airfield. It is unclear who the unidentified warplanes belong to although Itar Tass notes that one of the jets was allegedly taken down, so there should be confirmation shortly. Eyewitnesses also add that there are victims and an ambulance has been sent to the scene.
Itar-Tass also adds that according to the newspaper "News Kramatorsk" three helicopters were circling over Kramatorsk.
Elsewhere, RIA adds that Ukraine troops have now successfully regained control of the same airport.
Here is a photo of one of the fighters seen circling above Kramatorsk.

Obama confronts Putin in call as crisis escalates

Presidents Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin confronted one another in telephone talks Monday as a standoff over Ukraine escalated after the CIA chief visited Kiev and a Russian war plane "buzzed" a US destroyer.

Washington said it was consulting European allies and hinted that more sanctions on Russia's economy could be coming, to punish what it sees as Moscow's sponsorship of pro-Russia violence in eastern Ukraine.

The Kremlin said that Putin used the latest in a string of tense phone calls with Obama to brand US charges of meddling in eastern Ukraine as "unfounded."

There were no immediate readouts of the call from the White House, which earlier was the first to say it would take place.

Unusually though, the White House did offer some details of CIA chief John Brennan's travel, confirming Russian media reports that the top US spy had flown into Kiev over the weekend.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had demanded an explanation over Brennan's visit.
View gallery

Russia's Interfax news agency quoted an unidentified source as saying Brennan recommended Kiev use force against pro-Russian militants in eastern districts.

But White House spokesman Jay Carney blasted claims that Brennan's travel was anything but routine -- and said he was revealing it to rebut "false claims" laid by Russia.

"Senior-level visits of intelligence officials are a standard means of fostering mutually beneficial security cooperation, including US-Russian intelligence collaboration going back to the beginnings of the post-Cold War era," he said.

"To imply that US officials meeting with their counterparts (in Kiev) is anything other than in the same spirit is absurd."

- 'Provocative' -

Carney also denied that a new Cold War was brewing between Russia and the United States, but an incident involving a Russian jet over the Black Sea and a US cruise missile destroyer did hark back to the tensions of that earlier era.

The Pentagon said the Su-24 fighter made several low-altitude, high-speed passes near the USS Donald Cook, cruising in international waters off Romania over the weekend.
