Belgium is Committing Suicide

Belgium has the highest per capita number of Islamic terrorists gone to fight in Syria and Iraq than any other European country. Brussels is the capital of the holy war, as well as of the European Union.

The first European citizen to die on the battlefields of jihad was Muriel Degauque, a Belgian Catholic girl. Originally from Charleroi, she converted to Islam, changed her name to Myriam and died near Baghdad as a human bomb.

Two days before September 11, two Tunisians recruited in Belgium managed to kill the Afghan commander Massoud, enemy of al Qaeda and the Taliban.

And the terror cell of Madrid's 2004 bombings came from the town of Maaseik.

How could Maaseik, the city of the Christian painter Van Eyck, become the center of Islamic terrorism in Europe?
They call it "Belgistan", it is the sad evolution of a wealthy, bored and skeptical country, a world of cafes, theaters, municipal clubs, wine, witty conversations, carillons, libraries, prosperous cooperatives.

Brussels was destined to become, like London, Paris or Athens, the place par excellence of Europe's national merger. Homo Belgicus should have been the highest example of synthesis of the European everyman. Yet, the country is sick.

Belgium doesn't only hold the record for jihadists in Europe, it is also the European country with the highest suicide rate. The most notorious suicide is the Nobel Prize laureate in Medicine, Christian de Duve, who, two years ago, killed himself in front of his four children.
Six suicides a day. With a suicide rate estimated at more than 20 per 100,000 inhabitants, Belgium breaks all records in Western Europe. The world average is 14.5 per 100,000 inhabitants. Suicide is indeed the first cause of mortality among Belgians between 25-44 and the second leading cause, after vehicle accidents, between 15-24.

The tragic statistic would grow if we counted the thousands of deaths that occur under the law of euthanasia, with six deaths per day. Belgium is also the site of the first "supermarket of death." In Flémalle, a Belgian town not far from Liege. The tombstones? In the fourth row. The crowns? In the right corner. The coffins? To the left.

A country dominated by nihilism, where Islam is already the first religion. In the schools of the capital of Europe, the teaching of the Muslim religion has exceeded that of students of Catholic faith. A full 43 percent is studying Islam, and the same figure stood at 41.4 in high schools; 27.9 percent are following courses of "secular morality" (atheism), and only 23.3 percent opted for studies in the Catholic faith.

Already today, in Brussels, one in three people is Muslim, the most common name is Mohammed, and by 2035 it will be a city with a Muslim majority.

The great moments of life, such as baptisms, weddings and funerals in Belgium are no longer tied to Christianity, this in a country whose symbols have long been the cathedral of Antwerp, the dog of St. Hubert and the University of Leuven (founded by Pope Martin V).

In Brussels today only 7.2 percent of marriages are Catholic, only 14.8 percent of children are baptized, and there only 22.6 percent of funerals were Catholic. It is the end of Catholicism.

Reverend Says ‘Christ’s Redemption’ Is Not Limited To Humans

Reverend Dr Christopher Benek, an associate Pastor of Providence at the Presbyterian Church in Florida, believes religions may help AI live alongside mankind. ‘I don’t see Christ’s redemption limited to human beings,’ he told Zoltan Istvan, author of The Transhumanist Wager, in a recent Gizmodo interview. ‘It’s redemption to all of creation, even AI,’ he added. ‘If AI is autonomous, then we have should encourage it to participate in Christ’s redemptive purposes in the world.’ Reverend Benek’s statements, however, raise the question of whether AI can have a soul.

SpaceX founder Elon Musk famously warned such robots could spell the end for mankind likening it to 'summoning the demon'.

But could religion covert AI into doing good for world? Or would spiritual beliefs in robots speed up the demise of humanity?

If artificially intelligent robots could have souls and be converted to religion, there are concerns that they may add to conflict around the world.

Christian theologian James McGrath, writes in his essay Robots, Rights, and Religion: 'In all likelihood, if androids were inclined to be extremely liberal, they would quickly discover the selectivity of fundamentalism's self-proclaimed liberalism and reject it.

The leader of France’s rightwing Le Pen says Washington attempting to start ‘war in Europe’

Marine Le Pen (Reuters / Charles Platiau)

The leader of France’s rightwing Front National (FN), Marine Le Pen, has called Brussels “American lackeys” over the EU's Ukraine policy. She further accused Washington of attempting to start a “war in Europe” and expand NATO towards Russia’s borders.

"European capitals do not have the wisdom to refuse to be dependent on US positions on Ukraine," Le Pen told French journalists on Sunday.

"Regarding Ukraine, we behave like American lackeys," she said, before warning that “the aim of the Americans is to start a war in Europe to push NATO to the Russian border."

"Concernant l', nous nous comportons comme les valets des Américains."
Marine Le Pen

She went on to accuse European leaders of turning a blind eye to the Ukrainian government’s “bombing of civilians,” adding that both those in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine believed the country should be federalized.

Le Pen has regularly criticized the EU for its policy on Ukraine and its alleged lack of independence from Washington.

"Tout ce qui va dans le sens du règlement diplomatique du conflit ukrainien doit être privilégié."
Marine Le Pen

In September, she told Le Monde that the ongoing crisis in Ukraine is “all the European Union’s fault,”saying Brussels had “blackmailed the country to choose between Europe and Russia.”

In June, she similarly told RT’s Sophie Shevardnadze that there were “no independent states left in Europe,” saying many of their foreign policy mistakes in recent times had been made “under Washington’s influence.”

Her words echoed statements by former French Prime minister Francois Fillon, who told the public broadcaster France 5 on Sunday that the United States was attempting to “unleash a war in Europe, which would end in catastrophe.” He added that once a war broke out, the US would attempt to distance itself from it.

“Total war caused [by the] Ukrainian conflict is absolutely unacceptable. And really there is no reason for it," he said.

"L'objectif des Américains est de déclencher une guerre au sein de l'Europe, pour pousser l' jusqu'à la frontière russe."
Marine Le Pen

Fillon accused the US of suffering from “blindness” and an oversimplified approach to reality, which saw them constantly attempting to “solve all problems by force.”

He further said Washington was always attempting to force others to join its camp, a mistaken approach given that a country like Ukraine has ties to both Europe and Russia.

Francois Fillon (Reuters / Philippe Wojazer)

"The Americans have made one mistake after another and today they have simply been discredited,”said Fillon.

He added that attempting to punish Russia with sanctions was like trying to intimidate a bear with a pin prick. He further commended recent efforts by French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel to open a dialogue with Moscow.

“The West is trying to imagine today Russia as a threat to the whole world, while deliberately forgetting that Russia is a large and truly a great country, not to mention a nuclear power,” he said.

“Humiliating Russia is simply unacceptable.”

Also on Saturday, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy said that Europe was part of “a common civilization with Russia,” saying they needed to avoid conflict on the continent.

“The interests of the Americans with the Russians are not the interests of Europe and Russia,” he said, adding that “we do not want the revival of a Cold War between Europe and Russia.”

Economic Expert Fears Assassination for Telling Truth About the Real Unemployment Rate

"I am really good at this, anytime, anywhere".
“I am really good at this, anytime, anywhere”.

In 2012, President Obama was heard, by Whitehouse assistants, bragging to his lackeys about his ability to kill people with drones and that he was really “good at it”.  I am sure if we ask Michael Hastings, he would agree that this President is outstanding at killing people with drones.

Michael Hastings ran into a tree at speeds in excess of 70 mph, and the front end of the car was not bent back.

Move over Andrew Breitbart,Tom Clancy and of course, Michael Hastings, the President and his skill with drones has not gone unnoticed by economic expert, Jim Clifton. Clifton, the chairman & CEO of Gallup, a performance consulting company, told the host of a CNBC show on unemployment the following:
That he was worried that he might “suddenly disappear”   and that he “not make it home that evening if he disputed the accuracy of the government’s stated unemployment rate“.
Clifton slammed the cheerful spin put out by the government’s propagandists as Obama and his minions said the unemployment rate 5.6%. Clifton referred to Presidential statements to this effect as “The Big Lie”, saying “the real Obama unemployment rate has never recovered and is still above 10% and it’s the worst it’s been in 30 years.”
Jim Clifton, forgot to mention that after unemployment benefits are cut off after six months, that person is counted as employed. If one holds a teaching credential, a license to cut hair or a real estate license, that person is counted as being employed even though there is no proof to support the assertion.
At the end of fiscal year 2013, Shadow Stats conducted a large scale analysis related to the effectiveness of Obama’s economic policies and found the following:

Obama’s Income and Employment Opportunities: “Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil”

"Say it ain't so"
First and foremost, Americans no longer live in the highest salary paying country in the world. In fact, the United States does not even crack the top ten list of the highest salary paying countries on the planet in which Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Japan, Norway, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom round out the top ten and pay their workers more than workers in the United States. In fact, the United States only ranks 20th in terms of overall gross pay!
Young adults who are degreed and/or skilled in fields such as engineering or information technology skills, are really wasting their time by working in the United States. Eight of the world’s ten highest-paying countries for information technology (IT) managers are in Western Europe, according to a new survey by Mercer Human Resource Consulting. The survey found that Swiss managers are paid the most, followed by those in Germany and Denmark. In fact, IT management is another field where U.S. workers fail to crack the top ten in income, the United States ranks 14th in IT management compensation. Even debt ridden Spain, Italy and Greece pay their IT managers more than what Americans earn on average and these three nations are currently on the edge of economic collapse.
Unfortunately, the public does not know what the true unemployment rate is in America because the Department of Labor plays games with the numbers as was noted above.
The “Alternate Unemployment Rate” more accurately reflects the current unemployment reporting methodology adjusted for SGS-estimated long-term discouraged workers, who were eliminated from official existence by the Federal government back in 1994. That estimate is added to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) estimate of U-6 unemployment, which includes the previously short-term discouraged workers.
The “U-3″ unemployment rate is the monthly headline number. The U-6 unemployment rate is the BLS broadest unemployment measure, “including short-term discouraged and other marginally-attached workers as well as those forced to work part-time because they cannot find full-time employment” as this group would be categorized as the underemployed. When all figures are combined, the Shadow Stats calculations are staggering as the unemployment and underemployment rate is approaching 24%!
shadow stats unemployment
Shadow Stats is one of the most interesting financial websites that I have found in recent memory and they are worthy or a hearty recommendation as they give the public an accurate way to compare real unemployment to the government contrived games that are played with the unemployment numbers.
The actual unemployment/underemployment rate, nearly 24%, is more than three, and almost four times the government’s figures for unemploymentShadow Stats calculations clearly tell us that we are in a very serious depression, or what Gerald Celente often refers to as the “Greatest Depression”.  And when we isolate the numbers and only include young adults, the picture goes from bleak to hopeless and these statistics are the fertile breeding ground for revolution.
The segment of the population which needs have the most opportunity in the economy is literally getting killed. Consider the following statistics gathered from various sources:
During 2011, 53 percent of all Americans with a bachelor’s degree under the age of 25 were either unemployed or underemployed.
At this point about half of all recent college graduates are working jobs that do not even require a college degree.
The number of Americans in the 16 to 29 year old age bracket with a job declined by 18 percent between 2000 and 2010.
Incomes for U.S. households led by someone between the ages of 25 and 34 have fallen by about 12 percent after you adjust for inflation since the year 2000.
In the United States today, 317,000 waiters and waitresses have college degrees.
One poll discovered that 29 percent of all Americans in the 25 to 34 year old age bracket are still living with their parents.
Young men are nearly twice as likely to live with their parents as young women the same age are.
Overall, approximately 25 million American adults are living with their parents according to Time Magazine.
Workers in modern nations have always had retirement as an incentive to work towards. Soon, the government will control all retirement accounts. Furthermore, if you live in America, you are not getting the best pension package compared to other Western nations as America ranks last in overall pension benefits. And this is in the backdrop of the Obama Administration, and as I have recently discussed,  there are clear plans to seize your 401k pensions.
This planned theft by the Obama Administration will prove to be a devastating blow to the American middle-class and will provide a knockout punch to any hope that the middle class clings to when it comes to transmitting wealth to their children and we are only a couple of short years from realizing this inevitability. At least in Greece, the people rioted when the government stole the people’s pensions to pay down the bankers part of the derivatives debt.  Conversely, Americans are merely acquiescing and passively accepting the fact that Obama and his minions are planning to steal your bank accounts, your social security, your public pensions and your 401k accounts and the process has already begun with Treasury Secretary Lew as he is borrowing against select Federal retirement accounts. Now, the man who brags he’s good at killing people with drones has found one more thing to begin stealing.

Conclusion

Yesterday, I discussed how the elite and the government minions are in the midst of stealing your homes, bank accounts, retirements and now we can add your job to the list.
I used to enjoy reading the Adventures of Robin Hood when I was a child, I never dreamed. I would be living it. Unlike the time of Robin Hood, we no live in a time when the Sheriff of Nottingham is armed with drones.

Obama About To "Unleash Hell" Warns US Senator

By Susan Duclos
The-Enemy-Within.jpg

In a hard hitting interview conducted by Hugh Hewitt with US Senator Lindsey Graham, we are informed that Barack Obama is "about to unleash hell on the Middle East" by creating a nuclear arms race that will be the "mistake of a lifetime."

With recent headlines tell us that Obama has agreed to roughly 80% of Iran's demands in negotiations over iran's nuclear programand that Iran is openly bragging that "Americans are begging us for a deal," Graham's assertions on this issue should be taken seriously.

Iran is, again, influencing four major capitals. They’re spreading their influence all over the world, including South America. Why would you negotiate with a regime that is building an ICBM, that is sponsoring terrorism at the highest level in modern times? Why not just call a time out and say we’re not going to talk to you anymore about your nuclear program until you stop your weapons buildup and destabilizing the neighbors? Does anybody really believe that Barack Obama would use military force against Iran after he drew a red line against Assad and did nothing? The Israelis are in a box. The Israelis are not going to allow the ayatollahs to go nuclear. And the deal that we’re contemplating with Iran is North Korea in the making. And the Arabs and the Israelis are not going to allow the ayatollahs in Iran to have a nuclear capability only contained by the UN. That’s what we tried to do in North Korea. So Obama’s about to unleash hell on the Middle East. He’s about to create a nuclear arms race by wanting a deal with the Iranians so badly that he’s about to make the mistake of a lifetime.

The full interview transcript can be read HERE and the headlined portion can be heard in the video below.

When asked whether ISIS or Iran poses the greatest threat, Graham responds "Not even close – Iran with a nuclear capability is the greatest threat the world will know in my lifetime."

Call it a conspiracy theory if you wish, but with recent inexplicable decisions being made on the part of the Obama administration, from arming Syrian rebels which then pledged allegiance to ISIS, to alienating our allie....  from poking the Russian bear to throwing US support behind terrorist groups..... US foreign policy has become one where it is almost impossible not to think that Barack Obama is deliberately trying to destabilize the entire world!

When other world leaders are warning that the US is on a march toward WW3, basically telling Barack Obama to back off, and 4-star generals are warning Americans that Obama has allowed our national security agencies to be infiltrated by enemies, and Americans that believe in the constitution or are religious or considered survivalists are labeled as extremists and terrorists, then one has to consider, looking at the big picture, that Barack Obama is deliberately trying to destroy America from within.

It is a question that has to be asked when we start compiling all the strategically bad decisions he has made over the last 6 years.

I may not agree with Lindsey Graham on everything, but in this case, I do believe Obama is about to "unleash hell," not just on the Middle East, but across the entire globe.

Russia's Newest Military Base In Europe Will Be Just 40km From NATO Facilities In Cyprus

"We want to avoid further deterioration in relations between Russia and Europe," explained Cyprus' President Nicos Anastasiades upon reportedly signing an agreement to offer Russia military facilities on its soil (that we noted previously). The air force base at which Russian planes will use is about 40 kilometers from Britain's sovereign Air Force base at Akrotiri, on the south shores of Cyprus, which provides support to NATO operations in the Middle and Near East regions. As fault lines within the EU widen, Anastasiades said in his interview that Cyprus opposes additional sanctions against Russia by the European Union over Ukraine, "Cyprus and Russia enjoy traditionally good relations and that is not going to change."

Keep your friends close... and enemies closer?

Cyprus will offer Russia military facilities on its soil, President Nicos Anastasiades said on Friday.

In an interview with a local newspaper, Anastasiades said that a pact strengthening defense relations between the two countries will be signed when he visits Moscow on Feb. 25.

"There is an old (defense) agreement which is to be renewed as it is. At the same time, some additional facilities will be provided just like we do with other countries - France and Germany for example,"Anastasiades said.

Cyprus is currently providing facilities to French planes, such as refueling and maintenance at an air force base near the western city of Paphos and port facilities to German ships supporting the United Nations peace operations in Lebanon.

The air force base at which Russian planes will use is about 40 kilometers from Britain's sovereign Air Force base at Akrotiri, on the south shores of Cyprus, which provides support to NATO operations in the Middle and Near East regions.
Cyprus and Russia traditionally enjoy close relations based on cultural ties and a common religious tradition.
Russia has been one of the main supporters of Cyprus in its decades old dispute with Turkey, providing both political and military support in the form of arms sales.

Anastasiades said in his interview that Cyprus opposes additional sanctions against Russia by the European Union over Ukraine.

"We want to avoid further deterioration in relations between Russia and Europe," said Anastasiades.

He added that a positive aspect is that many countries within the European Union are feeling the same way, supporting the diplomatic way rather than additional sanctions against Russia.

"Cyprus and Russia enjoy traditionally good relations and that is not going to change," Anastasiades said.

Greece Rejects European Ultimatum and Ukraine Peace Talks Falter

In the absence of any notable developments overnight, the market remains focused on the rapidly moving situation in Greece, which as detailed over the weekend, responded to Europe's Friday ultimatum very vocally and belligerently, crushing any speculation that Syriza would back down or compromise, and with just days left until the emergency Eurogroup meeting in three days, whispers that a Grexit is imminent grow louder. The only outstanding item is what happens to the EUR and to risk assets: do they rise when the Eurozone kicks out its weakest member, or will they tumble as UBS suggested this morning when it said that "the escalation of tensions between the Greek government and its creditors is so far being shrugged off by investors, an attitude which is overly simplistic and ignores the risk of market dislocations" while Morgan Stanley adds that a Grexit would likely lead to the EURUSD sliding near its all time lows of about 0.90.
That, the ongoing Ukraine "peace talks" which are rapidly going nowhere and in fact have already managed to splinter Europe and the US (as well as sow internal European discord) and the collapse of Chinese imports, and weaker than expected exports, reported over the weekend leading to a record high trade surplus, is what is on traders' minds this morning.
As a result European equities (Eurostoxx50 -1.21%) trade in the negative territory across the board with concerns and uncertainty surrounding Greece weighing on sentiment after Greek PM Tsipras rejected terms on the bailout extension. This also supported a bid in core fixed income as Bunds trade with gains of over 50 ticks breaking above Friday’s high, with the prospect of lower bond issuance this week also supporting upside. The GR/GE 10Y spread is wider by around 68bps and ASE down over 5% indicating the dampened optimism in Greece after being downgraded at S&P to B- from B whilst Moody’s put the country’s Caa1 rating on review for downgrade on Friday. Weakness in equities was further exacerbated after reports that Hannover, Hamburg & Stuttgart airports face delays due to strikes sent DAX heavyweight Deutsche Lufthansa (-2.4%) lower and caused selling in the DAX (-1.52%) after a technical break below 10,700. Furthermore, the DAX was further compounded by JPMorgan downgrading the index.
Despite the data printing a record surplus, exports and imports declined more than expectations, with the import reading falling the most since May’09. Hang Seng (-0.6%) and Shanghai Comp (+0.6%) initially fell, although the latter has now pared back its losses, with sentiment lifted by today’s trading trial of options on the China 50 ETF by the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Nikkei 225 (+0.4%) managed to eke out gains after benefiting from a weak JPY.

In FX, CHF saw some weakness in early trade with weekend comments from SNB’s Jordan stating that that the central bank are not yet at their limit in regards to negative interest rates prompting further speculation of additional action by the SNB. Overnight, AUD underperformed in the wake of Chinese trade data with imports from Australia to China falling by 35.3%, however has been bid in the wake of Australian PM Abbot winning the confidence vote by 61-39 votes. The USD-index (-0.11%) was initially weaker overnight but has trimmed some its earlier weakness on little fundamental news with major pairs coming off best levels.
WTI crude futures have remained around the USD 52.00 level during the European morning and trade in modest positive territory with the USD-index trading lower by 0.11%. Elsewhere Libya’s largest export port, Hariga, has been closed due to a strike by security personnel resulting in production falling to 300,000/bpd for the country. In precious metal markets, much of the movements have been technical with gold (+0.6%) higher after touching its 50DMA, while silver (+1.8%) outperforms the metals complex after failing to make a sustained break below its 50DMA and 100DMA. Following the rejection of the contract terms by the United Steelworkers union from Shell, discussions are set to resume on February 10th. (BBG)
In Summary: European shares stay lower, though above intraday lows, with the autos, banks underperforming and basic resources, oil & gas outperforming. Greece’s Tsipras reaffirms bailout program rejection in address to parliament yesterday. Ruble rallies, Russian inflation set to slow, central bank governor says. Merkel due to meet Obama today in Washington. The German and Italian markets are the worst-performing larger bourses, Switzerland’s is the best. The euro is little changed against the dollar. German 10-year bond yields fall, Greek yields increase. Commodities gain, with nickel, zinc underperforming and natural gas outperforming. U.S. mortgage delinquencies, foreclosures due later.

Bulletin Headline Summary from Bloomberg and RanSquawk:
  • European equities (Eurostoxx50 -1.21%) trade in the red amid Greek PM’s Tsipras refusal to accept the EU’s anti-austerity proposals ahead of the Feb 16th bailout extension deadline.
  • Looking forward, sees no tier 1 data scheduled with market focus solely on any ongoing developments regarding the discussion between the EU and Greece

  • Ukraine’s almost yearlong conflict enters a pivotal week, with the outcome of more talks on a peace agreement potentially determining whether a wider war can be avoided as violence escalates
  • Intimidation of the Baltic states, pressure on the former Soviet republic of Kazakhstan, warmer ties with Greece as a way of dividing the European Union -- all are  potential options for the former KGB agent bent on recasting the world order

  • Finance ministers and central bank chiefs from the G-20 agree that monetary policy needs to stay accommodative until the outlook for economic growth improves, according to a draft communique obtained by Bloomberg
  • Greece topped the list of worries for finance ministers and central bankers from the G-20, with concern rising that the Mediterranean nation’s membership of the euro has never been more tenuous
  • Sovereign yields mixed, with Greece 10Y surging nearly 70bps to 10.79%. Asian, European stocks, U.S. equity-index futures fall. Brent, WTI, gold, copper rise
