While the United States celebrated Independence Day, two pairs of Russian bombers flew off the coast of California and Alaska -- forcing the Air Force to scramble fighter jets to intercept both flights, two senior defense officials tell Fox News.
The first incident occurred at 10:30 a.m. ET on July 4 off the coast of Alaska.
Two U.S. Air Force F-22 jets were scrambled from their base in Alaska to intercept two Tupolev Tu-95 long-range strategic bombers, capable of carrying nuclear weapons.
The second incident occurred at 11:00 a.m. ET also on July 4, off the central coast of California. Two F-15s from an undisclosed location were scrambled to intercept another pair of Tu-95 Bear bombers.
A spokesman for NORAD would not confirm if either pair of bombers was armed.
At the same time the bombers were in the air probing the West Coast of the United States, Russian President Vladimir Putin called President Obama to wish him a happy July 4th.
"These are not unprecedented flights, but we are postured to respond whether Alaska or California," NORAD spokesman Michael Kucharek said. "At no time did the bombers enter North American sovereign airspace."
Russia is boasting a major advance in electronic warfare technology enabling Vladimir Putin’s armed forces to zap foreign military satellites, and “switch off” enemy weapons.
The new system will muzzle the guidance systems of Western cruise missiles and other high-precision arms, it is claimed.
Its Russian makers say it is a “fundamentally new electronic warfare system” which can be mounted on ground-based as well as air- and sea-borne carriers.
Russia’s Radio-Electronic Technologies Group (KRET) deputy chief Yuri Mayevsky said: “The system will target the enemy’s deck-based, tactical, long-range and strategic aircraft, electronic means and suppress foreign military satellites’ radio-electronic equipment.”
Russia's deputy defense minister Tatyana Shevtsova, Russia's president Vladimir Putin and Russia's defense minister Sergei Shoigu
“It will not be based on satellites as this is prohibited by international rules and we comply with this rule.”
The Russian hailing of its new super weapon comes as relations with the West are at their lowest ebb since the collapse of the Soviet Union, with fears of a new Cold War.
President Vladimir Putin has invested heavily in rebuilding his country’s military might, which has lagged behind the West since the end of the Soviet era.
The new technology “will fully suppress communications, navigation and target location, and the use of high-precision weapons”, said Mikheyev, who did not give further details of the claimed military breakthrough.
BarcroftAnton Gubankov, head of the culture department at Russia's defense ministry, Russia's president Vladimir Putin and Russia's defense minister Sergei Shoigu
“The system will be used against cruise missiles and will suppress satellite-based radio location systems.
The result of the referendum in Greece is a great victory for freedom, but it is also threatens to unleash unprecedented economic chaos all across Europe. With almost all of the votes counted, it is being reported that approximately 61 percent of Greeks have voted “no” and only about 39 percent of Greeks have voted “yes”. This is a much larger margin of victory for the “no” side than almost everyone was anticipating, and it represents a stunning rejection of European austerity. Massive celebrations have erupted on the streets of Athens and other major Greek cities, but the euphoria may not last long. Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is promising that Greece will be able to stay in the euro, but that gives EU bureaucrats and the IMF a tremendous amount of power, because at this point the Greek government is flat broke. Without more money from the EU and the IMF, the Greek government will not be able to pay its bills and virtually all Greek banks will inevitably collapse. Meanwhile, the rest of Europe is about to experience a tremendous amount of pain as financial markets respond to the results of this referendum. The euro is already plummeting, and most analysts expect European bond yields to soar and European stocks to drop substantially when trading opens on Monday morning.
Personally, I love the fact that the Greek people decided not to buckle under the pressure being imposed on them by the EU and the IMF. But amidst all of the celebration, the cold, hard reality of the matter is that your options are extremely limited when you are out of money.
How is the Greek government going to pay its bills without any money?
How are the insolvent Greek banks going to operate without any money?
How is the Greek economy going to function without any money?
Now that the Greek people have overwhelmingly rejected the demands of the creditors, it will be very interesting to see what the EU and the IMF do. Prior to the referendum, European leaders were insisting that a “no” vote would put an end to negotiations and would force Greece to leave the euro.
Now that the results are in, are they going to change their tune? Because the ball is definitely in their court…
“This does two things: it legitimises the stance of the Greek government and it leaves the ball in Europe’s court,” ANZ Bank analysts said in a note.
“Europe either folds or Greece goes bankrupt; over to you Merkel.”
So would they actually let Greece go bankrupt?
It is going to be fascinating to watch what happens over the next few days. Right now, Greek banks are on life support. If the European Central Bank decides to pull the plug, they would essentially destroy the entire Greek banking system. The only thing that can keep Greek banks alive and kicking is more intervention from the ECB. The following comes from the New York Times…
Now that Greek voters have said no to the economic demands of its international creditors, the fate of the country’s struggling banks is in the hands of the European Central Bank.
Greece’s banks, closed since last Monday because they are perilously low on cash, have been kept alive in recent weeks by emergency loans from the European Central Bank. On Monday, the central bank’s policy makers plan to convene to determine how much longer they are willing to prop up the Greek banks, now that the country has essentially said no to the unpopular dictates of the other eurozone countries.
Of much greater concern to the rest of the world is how financial markets are going to respond to all of this. As I write this article, things already appear to be unraveling. The following comes from CNBC…
Germany’s Dax is indicated sharply lower from Friday’s close at around 4 percent, while the euro was down 2 percent against the yen as the news emerged. U.S. stocks are expected to open around 1 percent lower Monday, according to recent stock futures data.
What could be most important for those worried about contagion from the Greek crisis is how Portuguese, Spanish and Italian government bonds perform in Monday morning trade.
If these peripheral euro zone countries, often lumped in with Greece, suffer a sharp spike in yields, this could cause alarm about whether Greece leaving the currency might cause further contagion to other weaker euro zone economies.
This could potentially become a “trigger event” that unleashes a wave of financial panic all over Europe. And once financial panic begins, it is very difficult to end.
If the EU and the IMF want to avoid a crisis, they could just give in to the new Greek government. But that would be politically risky for certain high profile European leaders. For instance, Angela Merkel would face a huge backlash back home if she conceded to the new Greek government now. And other German leaders are already calling the referendum result a “disaster”…
German politicians branded the result a ‘disaster’, with the country’s economy minister Sigmar Gabriel Sigmar accusing Tsipras of ‘tearing down the last bridges on which Greece and Europe could have moved towards a compromise’.
He added: ‘Tsipras and his government are leading the Greek people on a path of bitter abandonment and hopelessness.’
And the president of the European Parliament, a German, told a German radio station over the weekend that a “no” vote would almost certainly mean that the Greeks will be forced out of the euro…
“If after the referendum, the majority is a ‘no,’ they will have to introduce another currency because the euro will no longer be available for a means of payment,” Martin Schulz, European Parliament president, said on German radio.
“Without new money, salaries won’t be paid, the health system will stop functioning, the power network and public transport will break down, and they won’t be able to import vital goods because nobody can pay,” he said.
So at this point it is all up to the EU and the IMF, and in particular the focus will be on the Germans.
What will they decide to do?
Will they give in, or will they force the Greeks to leave the euro?
If the Greeks do transition from the euro to a new currency, it will be a process that takes months (if not longer). You just can’t change ATMs, computer systems, cash registers, etc. overnight. So a move to the drachma would not be as simple as many are suggesting…
British firms like De La Rue, which prints 150 currencies worldwide, are believed to have been contacted with a view to providing such services.
It’s done in great secrecy to prevent currency speculation. The other big problem is the logistical challenges of switching a currency. All ATMs, computers and other machinery of commerce that bears the euro symbol will have to be adjusted. It could, and would, take months.
And if Greece does leave, it will be a massive shock for global financial markets. Faith in the European project will be shattered, the euro will drop like a rock, bond yields all over the continent will rise to unsustainable levels and major banks all over Europe will fail.
Romano Prodi, former chief of the European Commission and Italy’s ex-premier, said it is the EU’s own survival that is now at stake as the botched handling of the Greek crisis escalates into a catastrophe. “If the EU cannot resolve a small problem the size of Greece, what is the point of Europe?“
Meanwhile, we should all keep in mind that a financial crisis has already erupted over in Asia as well. Chinese stocks have lost 30 percent of their value in just the last three weeks. In fact, the amount of “paper wealth” wiped out in China over the past three weeks is approximately equivalent to “10 times Greece’s gross domestic product”…
A dizzying three-week plunge in Chinese equities has wiped out $2.36 trillion in market value — equivalent to about 10 times Greece’s gross domestic product last year.
In March 2010, two months before the announcement of the first Greek bailout, European banks had €134 billion worth of claims on Greece. French banks, as shown in the right-hand figure below, had by far the largest exposure:€52 billion – this was 1.6 times that of Germany, eleven times that of Italy, and sixty-two times that of Spain.
The €110 billion of loans provided to Greece by the IMF and Eurozone in May 2010 enabled Greece to avoid default on its obligations to these banks. In the absence of such loans, France would have been forced into a massive bailout of its banking system. Instead, French banks were able virtually to eliminate their exposure to Greece by selling bonds, allowing bonds to mature, and taking partial write-offs in 2012. The bailout effectively mutualized much of their exposure within the Eurozone.
The impact of this backdoor bailout of French banks is being felt now, with Greece on the precipice of an historic default. Whereas in March 2010 about 40% of total European lending to Greece was via French banks, today only 0.6% is. Governments have filled the breach, but not in proportion to their banks’ exposure in 2010. Rather, it is in proportion to their paid-up capital at the ECB – which in France’s case is only 20%.
In consequence, France has actually managed to reduce its total Greek exposure – sovereign and bank – by €8 billion, as seen in the main figure above. In contrast, Italy, which had virtually no exposure to Greece in 2010 now has a massive one: €39 billion. Total German exposure is up by a similar amount – €35 billion. Spain has also seen its exposure rocket from nearly nothing in 2009 to €25 billion today.
In short, France has managed to use the Greek bailout to offload €8 billion in junk debt onto its neighbors and burden them with tens of billions more in debt they could have avoided had Greece simply been allowed to default in 2010. The upshot is that Italy and Spain are much closer to financial crisis today than they should be.
One day soon, we will go to bed one night and will awaken to the morning like what is portrayed in the following. This will be a morning that will change all of our lives forever.
In the final days of Jade Helm, or in Jade Helm’s successor, Russian troops will be introduced to the drill gone live, and will carry out their mandates against the American people with a vengeance. They will also serve as a buffer against American military forces which would act in defense of their Constitutional oath in defense of the American people.
In Part One, I detailed how Russia is poised to invade the United States through a largely undefended Alaska and then down the West coast. In Part Two, the Russian military build up at the North Pole will lead to an invasion of the United States on a second front and as Russian troops will sweep through Canada and passed the northern border into the United States.
In this continuous blitzkrieg action against the American people, an invasion of our Southern underbelly will commence in a “Red Dawn” fashion.
During the lifespan of the Obama administration, Obama and his minions have purposely ignored the buildup of a Russian military alliance with former U.S. allies in Central and South America. This alliance, also connected to the BRICS will compromise the vanguard of an invading army which will cross the border the into the American southwest and across the Gulf of Mexico into the Gulf States region.
The year is 1942 and America finds itself cutoff from its allies, yet, America persevered through the harnessing of its vast manufacturing capacity. As America finds itself increasingly isolated by a devastatingly effective Putin foreign policy, the United States does not have the industrial capacity to respond to the economic and military threats which are challenging our very existence. Putin has set up a scenario in which he will harness the collective forces in Latin America, who will one day invade the United States. Latin America has forsaken the United States both economically and militarily.
Nicaragua
According to a March 2, 2o14, Strategic Culture Foundation report by a progressive, pro-Russian think tank, Nicaragua’s quoted former Sandista leader, Daniel Ortega, who reinstalled himself in 2007 as the Nicaraguan leader stated that “We are very grateful and very much appreciate the Russian people’s support of our country.” Ortega has accepted the arrival of two Russian strategic bombers and added that more will be on the way as Russia announced that Nicaragua has announced that it will accept routine Russian patrols in both its Caribbean and Pacific ports as well as participating in the joint training of military personnel. Russia and Nicaragua have movedin the direction of a strategic economic and military relationship. In October of 2013, for example, Nicaragua and Russia signed a memorandum of international security cooperation. Russia’s Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev noted during his visit to Nicaragua that “Nicaragua is an important partner and friend of Russia in Latin America,” pointing to the coincidence of views of the two countries’ authorities on many issues.”
The net effect of this alliance is that Russian bombers taking off from Nicaragua will be withing the 800 mile strike zone of Russian bomber as they drop their payload in Texas.
Argentina
Argentinean President, Cristina Fernández is determined to develop close economic relations with Russia as the left-wing liberal Argentinean leader has invited Russia to invest in fuel projects in an obvious attack upon the Petrodollar. Fernandez also cut a deal with Putin which supports Russia’s grab of Crimea in exchange for Russia’s support of Argentina’s quest to annex the Falkland Islands. If this is followed through with, this would be a direct act of war. Fernandez’s statement is most certainly a direct Russian slap in the face of our closest ally, England, and should be viewed as an attack upon NATO. Further, , added that the Crimean referendum was “one of the famous referendums of self-determination.”
Equador, Venezuela and Bolivia
Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa praised Russia as a “great nation”, while visiting Moscow in October of 2013. Putin was indeed praise-worthy because he promised to invest $1.5 billion into new domestic energy projects in Ecuador. Correa also stated that his country was planning on buying Russian military equipment. Russia has signed several billion dollars of contracts with Venezuela and supplies Bolivia, among other countries from the region with military weapons. The military package includes attack aircraft and helicopters. Who would these weapons be used against?
Brazil
Brazilian Defense Minister Celso Amorim, stated that “More than buying military equipment, what we are seeking with Russia is a strategic partnership based on the joint development of technology.” Amorim’s statement is consistent with the fact that Brazil, South America’s most populous nation, has announced that it is planning to purchase short-to-medium-range surface-to-air Pantsir S1 missile batteries and Igla-S shoulder-held missiles from Russia. Previously, Brazil has purchased 12 Mi-35 attack helicopters. Russia and Brazil have also signed an agreement for Brazil to acquire 36 attack aircraft. Amorim said Russia and Brazil would also look at working together on space technology and on defense against cyber attacks, an area that has become a Brazilian priority since disclosures that the NSA has spied on Brazilians, their president and the country’s largest oil company. If this means what I believe it means, with regard to the development of space technology, we are speaking about the possible intention of the Russian militarizing of near Earth orbit with space based weapons. Brazil is also one of the BRIC nations who is actively participating with Russia in the demise of the Petrodollar by purchasing oil for gold instead of the time-honored practice of the Petrodollar.
Space technology and the war between Russia and China vs. the United States, in near earth orbit, could ultimately decide the winner of World War III. Please refer to the ISIS section listed below.
El Salvador and All of Latin America
Newly elected El Salvadorian President, Sanchez Ceren, has signed an agreement with Putin entitled “Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement on the Foundations of Relations” which pledges economic and military cooperation. Ceren, is a self-declared Marxist-Leninist and is considered to be very-anti American.
Leaders from the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) and Russia declared their intention to establish a means of continuous dialogue “to discuss and synchronize positions on international issues.” CELAC includes thirty-three countries in the Americas, but the United States and Canada are excluded. This is the breeding ground of a “Red Dawn Scenario”.
Cuba and the Rebirth of the Cuban Missile Crisis
Pravda quotes Putin as stating that Russia had obtained the consent of the Cuban leadership to place “the latest mobile strategic nuclear missiles on the Island…” Subsequently, the Russians surprisingly docked a Russian spy ship in Havana. This is the Cuban Missile Crisis revisited!
This Cuban Missile Crisis Map from the 1960’s showed the range of Soviet missiles in Cuba. Today, all of North America is in range of Russian missiles based in Cuba.
Space Based Weapons
Only five days ago, Lieutenant General John Raymond, commander of U.S. military space operations, told the Congressional Armed Services Committee that the Chinese have perfected an array of anti-satellite weapons. Further, Raymond revealed that the Russians have previously and secretly launched a space based weapon designed to take down U.S. military satellites in space.
America’s potential adversaries are developing these capabilities because they’ve realized how incredibly vital space is, as a tool, for the U.S. armed forces and intelligence agencies. From text messages on the battlefield to our nuclear command and control, America is dependent upon its satellites. Russia and China are preparing to kill these satellites.
The ISIS Take Down of An American F-16
ISIS base camp, eight miles from El Paso Texas. Source: Judicial Watch.
Simply as a reminder, ISIS is maintain a base camp eight miles from El Paso, TX., according to Judicial Watchdocuments and are working closely with the Mexican drug cartels. This fact figures in prominently with the shoot down of an F-16 on American soil.
“The crash of this F-16 plane was no accident” according to my sources. The circumstantial evidence forms a “preponderance of the evidence” which supports the fact that Russia is ultimately responsible for the take down of this particular F-16.
Now there are some who are falsely or incorrectly stating that the plane was shot down by a hand held stinger missile which was found in the desert near the crash site of Douglas, AZ. This claim is rubbish. The F-16 is armed with counter measures and it is not likely that a hand held missile stinger could have shot that plane down given the evasive maneuvers that could have been employed at 10,000 feet, the reported altitude that the plane was flying at when it began its fall from the sky.
The off the books investigation is looking at this crash not as an accident and not as a shoot down, but as a take down, a take down by a localized and focused EMP blast aimed at the plane. ISIS is suspected as the main antagonist
The proliferation of EMP weapons has expanded beyond previously unimagined levels. There are how to manuals on how to make your own. However, the type of weaponry designed to take down an F-16 flying at about 10,000 feet would have to be amazingly sophisticated and would likely be guided by portable radar with the assistance of lasers.
It is also also know thatRussia exported EMP weapons to North Korea in 2014, and this leads us into a very novel way to look at the recent crash of the F-16 at the Mexican Border. After reading the following paragraphs which exposes the interconnections between Russia, the known terrorist groups, the Mexican drug cartels and ISIS, it is easy to conclude that Russia is providing localized EMP weapons to more than just North Korea.
It has been admitted to in the main stream media, since 2007, that the Mexican drug cartels are openly involved in Middle Eastern terrorist groups. My DEA source has implicated the Peruvian drug cartel, the Sanchez-Peredes cartel as the arms and drug supplier to the Sinoloa cartel. The Sanchez-Peredes get their arms from Hamas and are also tied into the Muslim Brotherhood, al-Qaeda and Hezbollah (i.e. the CIA-created ISIS as exposed in detail by ARSOF’s Scott Bennett). And it is well-known that Russia and Hamas are closely aligned as Russia has supplied the government of Syria with Russian weapons and used Hamas to deliver the weapons.
Here’s the bottom line, if Russia and China are successful in taking out America’s military satellites, our troops will be blind. Further, these portable EMP weapons, which are dependent upon Russian satellite involvement, would be freely deployed along our southern border with Mexico and form a protective air shield. This is a critical development for any advancing Red Dawn invasion force which would be dependent upon tactical air support. If Russia and China control space, the U.S. military would be blind. Any counter air measures launched by the U.S. would be negated and our planes would be at risk. In this scenario, the Red Dawn invasion force would control the skies, thus leaving America vulnerable to a series of ground incursions into the Southwest and Southeastern portion of the United States.
Conclusion
Ray Charles could see that Russia is preparing unleash a three-pronged attack upon the United States as the country is completing the solidification of the final stages of martial law. Martial law is needed as a preliminary step, because the American people must be disarmed, as much as possible, in order to increase Russia’s chances of military success.
Further, there are 33 Latin American nations that have abandoned the U.S. and Canada and have militarily and economically joined with Russia and they will provide the bulk of the Red Dawn invasion force and Obama has not lifted one of his Kenyan fingers to stop it.
When we look at the absolute totality of massive scale of the invasion which will come to our country, it is easy to see why the CIA front organization, Deagel, has projected a 90% loss of American life prior to 2025.
Short of removing yourself from the globalist economic system, which I have repeatedly advised readers to do, there is not much else one can do, except to leave the country. However, even expatriation only represents a means to stay one step ahead of the burning bridge. Short of divine intervention, the only means available is to pray that we wake enough people up that they will rise up and oppose the coming invasion in large numbers. Even this countermeasure can only buy time be plunging America into the depths of a prolonged civil war. That is a not a scenario that any of us can look forward to. Happy Fourth of July.
