AMAZING PROPHETIC WORD OF THE LORD FROM BROTHER MARCUS
Here is a word the Lord gave me on 08/10/2012:
"For all that of old that you have heard
Shall NOW come upon the earth as a swift bird;
Darkness shall come as you approach the end of the year
For nations shall be covered with fear.
The seals are breaking fast
And the cup of iniquity overflows at last
For My warnings to America have fallen on deaf ears
And now men shall choke on their own tears.
Because they have rejected My life
Soon they shall eat of the fruits of their own strife.
The streets shall become graves in the night
But you must prepare to hold your place without fright.
By November hidden deceptions will become clear as water
And chaos shall begin the slaughter.
From the skies shall come a sign
With My Kingdom will it's time to align.
Pillage and plunder shall come to the cities and towns
And the enemy shall try to take away your crowns.
The East and West shall see My hand,
And who shall escape the mystery in the middle of the land?
They have mocked My Word and My Name;
Did they think My judgments are a game?
Stand up My prophets and cry aloud in boldness;
For I now judge America's coldness.
The blood of the innocent cries aloud before My throne
But now in great power comes the little stone.
For My hand shall come swift against your sin
I gave you time to enter in.
But in your filth you chose your course
Now see the Revelation horse.
The angels of correction now ride fast and hard
America, you have played your final card.
Did I not call you out oh land of the Eagle?
I called you to be holy, royal and regal!
But you forsook Me for idols and pleasure above all;
Now I will bring you down to barely crawl.
Let tears come to the eyes of My watchmen
For the time of reaping of your national sin.
For the FULNESS of evil shall now play out
As your heart oh America is ever so stout.
I have sent My prophets to warn
But your heart was only one of scorn.
From Hollywood to the White House shall you now see
All of Satan's plans he has for thee.
Did I not call you to come out of her and repent?
But you still reject the watchmen and prophets I have sent.
Because you chose to eat of the pleasures of sin
You shall now find My judgments on your food supply within.
You have opened your borders to the foreign order
Now you shall see the enemy surround every border.
The terrorists shall soon arise from their posts
And you shall see the dirty bombs and terrors from the sky come to your coasts.
The man in your capital house shall now show his true face
As you see him greet those of a fallen AND foreign race.
Many saints shall soon be hunted as prey;
But in My secret place they now must stay.
What must we do cries those of a hearing ear
I will show My elect My supernatural protection the end of this year.
For at the end of the year and in 2013 you will see the weakness of your nation
But I warn you not to give place to deception and frustration.
Perilous times you will go through
Never can it be the same for the red, white and blue.
Oh major cities of every nation
You are about to see the worst destruction since creation.
The controllers shall soon openly show their arrogant plan
Upon the screens and radios they shall taunt every man.
Creatures "of the night" shall be among you commonly in the day
But I will give My elect the power to make them their prey.
People will begin to disappear in the night season
Oh your government knows well the reason.
I will make the month of December
A time for the whole world to remember.
The feathers of the Great Eagle shall be stripped this Fall
And Lady Liberty shall never again stand tall.
Baby George and others before him paved the way
Now Obama shall see his day.
JFK was the last true man for a truly white house bold and free
All those that followed did not have a TRUE heart for Me...

Defense Russia to Develop Naval Equivalent of U.S. Aegis Defense System
Russia is set to develop a sea-based missile defense program similar to the U.S. Aegis system, a senior defense industry official said on Friday.
Aegis, designed to intercept ballistic missiles at the post-boost phase and prior to reentry, is part of the U.S. national missile defense strategy.
“This task has been assigned to [the defense] industry,” said Anatoly Shlemov, head of the state defense contracts department at the United Shipbuilding Corporation.
Aegis analogs are being developed at companies affiliated with PVO Almaz-Antei [an air defense concern],” he said.
He declined to elaborate citing the classified nature of the topic.

Major earthquakes strike near north and south poles
A powerful 6.8 magnitude earthquake erupted in the Jan Mayen Island region of the Arctic Circle, north of Iceland.
The earthquake had a depth of 9.9 km (6.2 miles) and was followed by a 5.2 magnitude aftershock. Seismic turbulence has been increasing in the Arctic Circle in the month of August, as seen from the map above.
On August 14, a – 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck in the Sea of Okhotsk near NE Russia.
Today’s 6.8 magnitude Arctic earthquake was preceded by double moderate tremors along the Western Indian-Antarctica Ridge in the 5.4 and 5.0 range. The seismic dynamism that has the planet reeling, from pole to pole, increases the potential for major seismic disturbances along the Nazca plate of South America, the Cocos plate, along Central America; and, or the SW region of the U.S. near the Gulf of California, where the Pacific and North American plate are experiencing increased agitation. –The Extinction Protocol
'I don’t want to be complicit’ in an Israeli strike on Iran, says US army chief
The US should not become embroiled in an Israeli military strike on Iran that would not only fail to destroy Iran’s nuclear program, but could also undo international diplomatic pressure on Tehran, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey said Thursday in London.
Such an attack by Israel would “clearly delay but probably not destroy Iran’s nuclear program,” Dempsey said, adding: ”I don’t want to be complicit if they [Israel] choose to do it.”
The US’s top general – the Guardian reported – said that he could not presume to know Iran’s ultimate intentions in pursuing a nuclear program, as intelligence was inconclusive on that score. It was clear, however, he maintained, that mounting pressure from the American-led “international coalition… could be undone if [Iran] was attacked prematurely.”
Last week, Dempsey said that Israel and the US did not see eye to eye on the Iranian nuclear threat, admitting that Washington and Jerusalem were on “different clocks” regarding Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.
He noted, however, that he understood Israel’s urgency in calling for action against Iran’s nuclear program.
“They are living with an existential concern that we are not living with,” he said.
Dempsey added that he and Israeli Defense Forces Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz spoke on a bi-weekly basis to coordinate intelligence, despite gaps in understanding how close Iran was to a breakout nuclear capability.
“We compare intelligence, we discuss regional implications. And we’ve admitted to each other that our clocks are turning at different rates,” he said.
Thursday’s comments from Dempsey, who was in London for the Paralympic Games, come amid mounting chatter over a possible Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear program. The US has been working to keep Israel from launching a unilateral strike, maintaining that sanctions should be given more time to work.
Last week, the former American ambassador to Israel, Martin Indyk, termed Israel’s talk of attacking Iran “a classic case of crying wolf.”

Iran, Egypt call each other ‘strategic allies’
Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his Egyptian counterpart, Mohamed Morsi, have described the two key Middle Eastern countries as “strategic allies.”
At a Thursday meeting with Morsi in the Iranian capital, Tehran, Ahmadinejad referred to Egypt as “Iran's strategic ally” and expressed the interest of the Iranian nation and government in enhancing cooperation and friendly relations with the Egyptian government and nation.
Ahmadinejad pointed out that friendly ties between Iran and Egypt will be to the benefit of the entire Middle East and said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran is prepared to make its experiences and facilities available to the Egyptian brothers and [is ready] for the exchange of science, technology and expertise between the two countries.”
The Iranian president described Israel and West’s hegemonic policies as a threat to the region and the world and added, “The arrogant powers never favor the progress and strength of independent and justice-seeking nations and their friendship or animosity toward nations are based on the long-term objectives that they pursue in the international arena.”
Ahmadinejad underlined the need for reforms in all the regional countries, noting that the countries should be cautious about the way reforms are implemented.
He alluded to the strategic role of Iran and Egypt in resolving the regional issues, including the Syrian crisis, and noted that any mediation in Syria should be aimed at ceasing the bloodshed and lead to the rule of people’s will.
Ahmadinejad, however, warned against foreign meddling in Syria and pointed out, “We should be vigilant so that NATO and the other hegemonic powers will not be able to interfere in such affairs.”
Morsi, who visited Tehran on Thursday to attend the 16th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, said, “Egypt also considers Iran as its strategic partner and believes that, with a positive view to the future, everyone should provide suitable grounds for the regional developments.”
“The feeling of friendship and fraternity between the Iranian and Egyptian people is reciprocal and we always honor the positions and the constructive forward march of Iranian nation in the process of growth, development and progress,” he said
The Egyptian president called for a collective effort by all the regional countries to settle the existing problems and noted that the Syrian crisis can only be resolved through the mediation and efforts of the key regional players such as Iran.

6.6 earthquake struck off the east coast of Greenland
The quake, initially reported at a magnitude 7.0, was centered 266 miles east-northeast of Ittoqqortoormiit in Greenland and occurred at a depth of 5.3 miles, the USGS said.
Police in Ittoqqortoormiit, with some 500 inhabitants, were aware of the quake but did not feel anything. They said the island does not have a tradition of issuing tsunami warnings.
The meteorological institute in Norway's Tromso said the quake could be felt at Jan Mayen, a Norwegian island, but that no one was injured.
"I would say our experience of this was that it was rather undramatic," said Jo Valseth, a meteorologist working at Jan Mayen.

Eurozone unemployment at new high
Unemployment across the 17-nation eurozone hit a record 18 million in July, the EU statistics agency says.
Some 88,000 more people were added to the jobless total, but upwardly-revised data for June meant the unemployment rate remained at 11.3%.
Eurostat said the 18,002,000 jobless total was the highest since records began in 1995.
The highest unemployment rate in the eurozone was in Spain, at 25.1%. The lowest was in Austria, at 4.5%.
Compared with a year ago, the unemployment rate fell in 10 eurozone countries, increased in 16 and remained stable in Slovenia.
The largest falls were observed in Estonia (13.2% to 10.1%), Lithuania (15.2% to 13.0%) and Latvia (17.0% to 15.9%)
Meanwhile, the highest increases were registered in Greece (16.8% to 23.1%), Spain (21.7% to 25.1%) and Cyprus (7.7% to 10.9%).
Spain and Greece, which are struggling to tackle sovereign debt and banking crises, recorded jobless rates of more than 50% in the under-25s age-group.

Why you should be worried about facial recognition technology
It could be time for you to start worrying about what Facebook might be doing with the identity information collected on you and "tagged" photos.
The Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Germany has announced legal action against the company and charged that Facebook's use of facial-recognition technology is illegal.
In addition, the Federation of German Consumer Organizations is ordering Facebook to stop giving third-party applications users' data without their consent.
If the social network doesn't do this by Sept. 4, the FGCO will sue. Earlier this month, Norway also announced that it is looking into the legality of the social network's use of face-matching technology.
Unlike the United States, Germany has regulations that allow Internet users control over their data.
Regarding photo tags, a Facebook spokesperson told CNET: "We believe that the photo tag suggest feature on Facebook is fully compliant with EU data protection laws. During our continuous dialogue with our supervisory authority in Europe, the Office of the Irish Data Protection Commissioner we agreed to develop a best practice solution to notify people on Facebook about photo tag suggest."
Facebook: facial recognition profiles without user consent
A number of companies - like Facebook, Apple and Google - have facial recognition or detection as an automatic part of various services and apps.
With Apple and Google, users must opt-in, and they can opt-out. While its users can remove tags, Facebook's facial recognition feature is active by default.
But what happens with that information? It's not just that Facebook is using facial recognition (biometric data) to increase the worth of its data for sale, trade, or for whatever currency it's lining litterboxes with in Menlo Park.
In its December 2011 comments the Electronic Privacy Information Center told the Federal Trade Commission:
(...) the Commission should specifically prohibit the use of Facebook's biometric image database by any law enforcement agency in the world, absent a showing of adequate legal process, consistent with international human rights norms.
Facebook reportedly possessed an estimated 60 billion photos by late 2010, and approximately 2.5 billion photos are uploaded to Facebook each month.
The democratization of surveillance
EPIC's comments came after the FTC held a day-long forum called "Face Facts: A Forum on Facial Recognition Technology," focusing on the commercial applications of facial recognition technology and its potential privacy implications.
The "Face Facts" participants came from disparate sides of the discussion. They included FTC attorneys, the Face.com CEO, Facebook's senior privacy advisor and director, and reps from Google, the Privacy Rights Clearinghouse, the Center for Democracy and Technology and the ACLU.
Demos were done for participants by Intel AIM Suite (Audience Impression Metrics: a CMS-friendly and API-ready, public-use face detection software product) and Andrew Cummins, self-described strategy expert in tech/defense markets and the chief technology officer of controversial app-maker SceneTap.
There was also a representative from the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Interestingly, in 2010 NIST tested various facial recognition systems and found that the best algorithm correctly recognized 92 percent of unknown individuals from a database of 1.6 million criminal records.
FTC Chairman Jon Leibowitz opened "Face Facts" saying this summit was timely because, "Facebook has launched new facial recognition technology" and that "These sorts of technologies have already taken hold in law enforcement and the military; in that area, they are as controversial as they are interesting."
I'm not sure if his use of a clip from the Tom Cruise film Minority Report in his opening remarks was meant to be ironic or not. Perhaps Mr. Leibowitz misses working for the MPAA (where he was chief lobbyist until being tapped for the FTC by George W. Bush in 2004).
Leibowitz did say, "We must confront openly the real possibility that these technologies, if not now, then soon, may be able to put a name with the face, so to speak, and have an impact on our careers, credit, health, and families."
The Face Facts meeting raised an alarm for privacy organizations; Privacy Rights Clearinghouse director Beth Givens stated outright that there is insufficient public awareness about all aspects of facial recognition tech, and zero auditing mechanisms in place for any entity using the technologies.
Six months after the FTC meeting, Facebook acquired one of the biz-dev side participants, Face.com.
It's clear that after meetings and summits, even with good intentions for privacy protections, regulators like the FTC are merely only still on the outside looking in.
Ties between video profiling in private and government sectors more murky than ever
Back in July at a Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing Senator Al Franken said, "Facebook may have created the world's largest privately held database of face prints without the explicit knowledge of its users."
Franken continued to link the holes in citizen protections and stressed implications with the then-new Federal Bureau of Investigation facial-recognition pilot program.
Franken stated that any law-enforcement gains from the program could come at a high cost to civil liberties. "The FBI pilot could be abused to not only identify protesters at political events and rallies, but to target them for selective jailing and prosecution, stifling their First Amendment rights," he said.
Think about the implications of facial recognition profiles on social media sites along with current trends in cybersecurity legislation hysteria.
Remember CISPA? The surveillance bill would have given Homeland Security a backdoor pass to access your email, private information and social network data without a warrant or notice if it fit into a plan to stop "cybersecurity" threats. CISPA would have made it so that Facebook would be completely unrestricted (say, by your rights) to cooperate with Homeland Security to the fullest extent.
Just in the past few weeks, information has surfaced from a Wikileaks leak of private intelligence documents that the purpose of a surveillance product called TrapWire is to combine various intelligent surveillance technologies with tracking and location data, individual profile histories from various sources (datamining and social media), and image data analysis (such as facial recognition; TrapWire's video component) to monitor people under the guise of threat detection.
TrapWire is a commercial product sold to and implemented by private entities, the US Government "and its allies overseas."
Too little FTC, too late?
Facial recognition technologies are no longer held back from commercial sectors by high costs and poor accuracy and are quickly becoming directed at recording faces in public places and business establishments, rather than only online.
The FTC had impressed the point that the avenue of interest for "Face Facts" would solely address commercial uses and does not address the use of facial recognition technologies for security purposes or by law enforcement or government actors.
Right now there is nothing that requires any private entity to provide the individual with notice that facial recognition information is being collected, or the duration of the period in which the information will stored, or used.
There is nothing preventing private entities (businesses, app developers, data brokers or advertisers) from selling, trading, or otherwise profiting from an individual's biometric information - or from disclosing or disseminating the information without obtaining the individual's consent or pursuant to a valid warrant or subpoena.
It will be interesting to see how Facebook handles its newest privacy problem in Germany.

Everyone Is Ignoring A Sign Of US Economic Decline We Haven't Seen In 60 Years
UBS economist Drew Matus was on Bloomberg TV with Tom Keene this morning discussing the U.S. economy – and one rarely-discussed trend in particular that is somewhat alarming.
Matus told Bloomberg TV that the decline of the U.S. capital stock is a bad sign:
I would say that one of the things that people have generally ignored is that the U.S. capital stock is in decline. This is the first time post-war we've ever seen it. We don't know what the repercussions are because we have nothing in history to look back on and say, "Hey, last time it did this, this is what followed on it."
I would submit to you, though, that it's probably nothing good.
The capital stock Matus is referring to is American companies' investments in new equipment and software – one of the four main components in GDP – less the depreciation of existing equipment.
The implication of a drop in the capital stock is that potential growth is much lower than it could be if businesses were investing more in new capital. As a result, economy-wide return on assets can be expected to be much lower, UBS economist Sam Coffin told Business Insider.
Here is a chart showing the growth of the U.S. capital stock from 1947 to 2011 (the most recent data point). Note the lone dip at the end:
BEA
And here is a chart of the annual growth of the capital stock. Note the only time it's ever been negative since 1947:
BEA
As evidenced in the chart, the capital stock is growing at nowhere near average rates we've seen in the past.
Coffin explained to Business Insider the significance of the negative growth shown at right in the chart above and the subsequent yet feeble return to positive territory we've now seen:
It's more of a longer-term story. What it suggests is that productivity growth going forward isn't as likely to be as great because we haven't made as much capital investment as we otherwise would have.
It's sort of a symptom of the slow growth we've seen – except that there have been periods of slow growth in the past when we've seen more capital stock increase. But more importantly, it's just a lack of deepening of the capital stock that suggests lower trend growth ahead unless we work on it.
It's still going along at a pretty slow pace, and probably not enough to make up for the depreciation of the existing capital stock. It's on track for another very soft year in 2012.
The second quarter GDP numbers released yesterday didn't provide much to get excited about going forward, either. Coffin told Business Insider that based on those numbers, we could even see a dip in the capital stock again:
Looking at equipment and software investment – 5.4 percent and 4.7 percent over the last two quarters at an annual rate – that's a good deal slower than last year, and probably doesn't keep up with depreciation.
So, we're looking so far at a probable decline again in the capital stock in 2012, or at least very slow growth, if there is any.

Netanyahu tells US 'time has run out' on Iran diplomacy
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu got into a diplomatic shouting match with US Ambassador Dan Shapiro over US President Barack Obama's handling of Iran's nuclear program, saying "time has run out" for diplomacy, Yediot Aharonot cited a source as saying on Friday.
According to the report, which the Jerusalem Post could not independently verify, the showdown took place as Netanyahu met with Shapiro and Republican Congressman Mike Rogers, who visited Israel earlier in the week.
A source that participated in the meeting said that a particularly angry and stressed Netanyahu began a tirade against the US president, attacking him for not doing enough on Iran. "Instead of pressuring Iran in an effective way, Obama and his people are pressuring us not to attack the nuclear facilities," the source quoted Netanyahu as saying.
Angered about continued US rhetoric that diplomacy needs more time to work, Netanyahu said flatly: "Time has run out,"Yediot reported.
The American ambassador is said to have responded politely but firmly, telling Netanyahu that he was distorting Obama's position. Obama promised not to allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, he explained, and left all options on the table, including military options.
At that point, diplomatic sources told the paper, "sparks flew" in an escalating shouting match between Netanyahu and Shapiro as the stunned congressman watched.
Netanyahu and Obama may meet face-to-face on the sidelines of September's United Nations General Assembly meeting.

NATO secretly authorizes Syrian attack
On Monday, August 27, 2012, in a meeting in Brussels, NATO military leaders in consultation with “telephonic liaison” with officers of military forces in several former Soviet Republics, major African states, Israel, Saudi Arabia and the Persian Gulf states came to a combined decision to act against Syria.
Two issues were on the agenda:
1. How climate change in Greenland will effect geopolitics, immigration and military affairs for the EU
2. Syria and the potential for Russian and Chinese intervention.
3. Iran was not an official agenda item but it is an unspoken conclusion that, if China and/or Russia stand aside for interference by NATO in Syria’s internal affairs, this will be seen as an authorization for incursions into Iran, a systematic “Balkanization” based on a prescribed formula of “manufactured and simulated internal political and social strife.”
No announcement was made, no plans or timetable published, simply a vote on authorization of force which passed unanimously by member and included non-member states unanimously.
News stories throughout North America and Europe earlier in the day were filled with reports of mass killings by the Syrian Army and the presence of Iranian troops in Syria. True or not, these stories represent a pre-staging for the NATO conference.
The critical reporting issue involves rhetoric. We moved, yesterday, from discussions of “fighting” to “systematic execution of hundreds of civilians.”
No video nor photos were included to verify neither claims nor sources given other than reports from “rebel forces.”
Recent consultation with friends in the Pentagon as to Syria’s air defense system indicated that the US has, in place, a play to destroy the command and control capability of Syria’s system.
The problems are twofold:
1. Russian technicians man the Syrian system
2. The S300P2 system Syria uses is extremely “robust”
An additional political consideration is a simple one, there is no UN authorization. Both Russia and China have vetoed even sanctions against Syria much less authorized an attack.
Thus, there is no existing authority capable of justifying an attack.
In an interview this week at the NAM (Non-Aligned Movement) conference in Tehran, attended by 120 member states, a huge defeat for NATO interests in the area, this interview yielded some substantive and surprising facts.
Press TV: Certain powers have been trying to isolate Iran, actually, by not holding such a conference at such a high ranking level. As you said, this all has failed.
Now tell us about all the sanctions against Iran which have propagated against Iran, that Iran should be isolated, but as you said it’s all been failed. What is really important is that the agenda of the 688-point draft document which talked about, as you call and urge all countries to make the world free from any nuclear weapons.
You were a senior expert in the IAEA as an inspector. Tell us about that and also with the particular focus on Israel which has not yet signed up to the NPT.
Abu Shadi: I oppose strongly any kind of accusation on any state based on intelligence information. All the accusations given to the nuclear program in Iran is based only on intelligence information. There is no single proof that Iran is deviating from its commitment from the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
I am very surprised that the Security Council took four decisions, sanctions against Iran just because of rumors that the intelligence source may think there is something.
I think this policy should be changed. The Security Council and its way of veto, and its limited number only to the big powers should be changed. I think that will also be one of the points to be addressed in this conference. I believe strongly that that situation, which is actually politically influenced by the West, should be changed.
With respect to your second part about the NPT, in fact, almost all the states in the world respects the Non-Proliferation [Treaty] except the five weaponized states, which they should reduce their weapons which didn’t happen up until today, and the three or four states which did not sign the NPT including Israel. Israel is the only state in the Middle East who did not sign the NPT.
None of the Western countries who are accusing not only Iran but before also Iraq, Libya, Syria and even Egypt, did not consider any accusation to what the Israelis are doing. I believe this bias in the international organization should be stopped.
Shadi makes some particularly interesting points and raises some concerns few had noticed. His most damning statement, of course, is that the Security Council, a carryover from a war 70 years ago, certainly a demonstration of oligarchic rule at the United Nations, has been directed at Iran.
In particular, he notes that the council’s unilateral and undemocratic decisions, followed by nations, China and Russia, who defended Syria, were aimed at Iran but backed by no presentation of facts or even qualified intelligence assessments. In fact, since Colin Powell’s humiliating WMD presentation before the UN, no “American fact” has been taken seriously nor is likely to.
CNN quotes a top Powell aid:
A former top aide to Colin Powell says his involvement in the former secretary of state's presentation to the United Nations on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction was "the lowest point" in his life.
"I wish I had not been involved in it," says Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, a longtime Powell adviser who served as his chief of staff from 2002 through 2005. "I look back on it, and I still say it was the lowest point in my life."
Actual risks and ramifications
Top intelligence analysts in private consultation fear a larger Middle East war. “Russia and China won’t stand back, not with the US planning a unilateral move on Africa and its resources. It’s like 1947 again with Truman and the Marshall plan, encirclement, but a war over, not just resources but a world war against what has now seen as the real threat, what Americans call the “middle class.”
Thus, taking Syria without taking Iran is “not in the cards.” Here I return to the words of H. G. Wells, in his War of the Worlds. His grasp in this fiction well over a century old reflects on our times in a curious and wonderfully literate manner:
“No one would have believed in the last years of the nineteenth century that this world was being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own; that as men busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinised and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinise the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water.
Yet across the gulf of space, minds that are to our minds as ours are to those of the beasts that perish, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely drew their plans against us.
The immediate pressure of necessity has brightened their intellects, enlarged their powers, and hardened their hearts. And looking across space with instruments, and intelligences such as we have scarcely dreamed of...
And we men, the creatures who inhabit this earth, must be to them at least as alien and lowly as are the monkeys and lemurs to us. The Martians seem to have calculated their descent with amazing subtlety--their mathematical learning is evidently far in excess of ours--and to have carried out their preparations with a well-nigh perfect unanimity.”
Martians, this is how NATO and Israel look on the world, as expressed through the prose of Wells. Their gaze “cool and unsympathetic,” as drone warfare and their plans, calculated acts of false flag terror, kidnappings, assassinations, the abomination of mythical news reporting.
The end of the road, this path of “hubris” could well be world war, least of all fuel price increases that collapse the currencies and economies.
Talking of death is nothing as we are now pre-staged to look on life as nothing, all victims are “militants” if you want them dead or “collateral damage” when you err.
Iran’s position chairing NAM makes them a harder target. The general criticism by many NAM members, the dictatorial rule of the United Nations by the Security Council, has not prevented the Syrian conflict from becoming a threat to world peace.
For Iran, their choice seems, on the surface, to be in aiding Syria, negotiations, using oil leverage with India, China and others and predicting how the west is plotting.
If Iran falls, it will be only another domino.
